3/13/2020 7:11 PM Well-being Check West South St. On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a well-being check. The complainant advised that she hasn't seen or heard from her neighbor in a few days and was concerned. Upon arrival, Officers met with subject who advised that he was fine and had been working strange hours which cause him to come home late. Subject thanked Officers for checking on him. After determining everything to be fine, both units returned to patrol.   Approved
3/13/2020 7:04 PM Suspicious Person West Main St. On the stated date and time, Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person walking around the bank. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with subject who advised that he was "looking for WiFi," in order to use his phone. Subject was referred to free WiFi locations. Subject then left the area and both units returned to patrol. Richwood Bank Approved
3/14/2020 9:45 PM Drug Paraphernalia West Main St. On the stated date and time, Officers observed a black Pontiac Sedan stop beyond the clearly marked white stop bar at the intersection of West Main St and South Jefferson Ave. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle driver, Corey Baldwin, and his passenger, Karl Hobgood.  Officers later learned that Corey Baldwin had felony warrants out of the Union County Sheriff's Office for Absconding x2 and the Madison County Sheriff's Office for Possession of Dangerous Drugs. Officers also learned Corey was suspended. While speaking with Karl he advised there was drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.  Karl was then instructed to put his hands on the dash. After numerous times of asking, Karl put his hands on the dash.  Karl and Corey were later transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail where Karl was booked in for Obstructing Official Business and Drug Abuse Instruments. Corey was booked in on his warrants. Corey was also issued a traffic citation for Non-Compliance Suspension, No OL, Fail to Reinstate, and Traffic Control Devices. 3/14/2020 8:53 PM Traffic Stop West Main St. On the stated date and time, Officer observed a vehicle (facing eastbound) in the left turn lane from West Main Street to US Rt 41 North. The vehicle had his high beams on and did not have an activated turn signal. The light turned green and the vehicle proceeded to make the turn with the equipment violations. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle.  Upon checking the vehicle's registration, Officer learned that the registration expired and the registered owner was suspended. Officer made contact with the driver, Jenny Huffine.  Jenny was subsequently issued a citation for License Forfeiture Suspension (ORC 4510.111), No OL (ORC 4510.12A) and Duty to Dim (PC ORD 337.14A). She was given a warning for the turn signal violation and expired registration. Officer transported her to the McDonald's to wait for a ride. Her vehicle was towed to the Plain City Impound Lot.     Approved
3/14/2020 12:15 PM Assist Other Agency SR 161 E  On the listed date and time,, Officer was dispatched to the listed location to assist the Union County Sheriff's Office in reference to an activated alarm.  Once assistance was no longer needed Officer returned to patrol. CREATIVE PAINTS Approved
3/14/2020 3:22 AM Assist Other Agency Friend St. On the stated date and time, Officer was met on station by Trooper (Post 80) of the Ohio State Highway Patrol in reference to a BAC test.  Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer then returned to patrol. Plain City Police Department Approved
3/15/2020 8:15 PM Juvenile South Chillicothe St. On the stated date and time, Officer observed two female juveniles at the listed location.  Due to it getting dark and the girls being alone, Officer stopped and made contact with the juveniles.  Officer then made contact with one of the juvenile's mother via telephone. A short time later mother picked up the juveniles and took them home. After determining everything to be fine, Officer then returned to patrol. Plain City Elementary School Approved
3/15/2020 5:59 PM Animal Complaint - Other Converse Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer received a call from complainant in reference to a possible abandoned canine.   Upon arrival, Officer observed an energetic, tethered canine. The house was unoccupied. Officer made contact with the last known occupant of the listed location about the canine over public service.  Subject advised that her mother was moving the contents of the house throughout the weekend and that she would return in a few hours. The canine did not appear to be in distress. Officer left a bowl of food and water for the canine. Officer relayed the information to complainant and returned to patrol.  Officer checked on the canine on 3/16/2020 at 12:20PM, but the dog and the tether were both gone.   Approved
3/15/2020 1:06 AM Assist Other Agency Friend St. On the stated date and time, Officer was met on station by Tpr. (Post 80) of the Ohio State Highway Patrol in reference to a BAC test.  Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer then returned to patrol. Plain City Police Department Approved
3/15/2020 12:01 AM Domestic Violence - Misdemeanor Converse Ave. On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with all parties involved. Upon further investigation, it was learned that Jhonathan Harris struck the victim in the face with a closed fist on the right side of her face. He also held a knife to her back and verbally threatened her several times. Jhonathan was arrested for Domestic Violence and Aggravated Menacing. He was transported to Tri-County Regional Jail. 3/16/2020 11:20 PM Behavioral Health Hawthorne Dr. On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a possible domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller.  While speaking with caller, caller appeared confused and upset. Caller stated that she was concerned her husband had placed a blood clot inside her.  Caller stated that she wished to go to the hospital to be evaluated. Medic then arrived on scene and transported caller to hospital to be evaluated. Officer than contacted husband who stated that caller had been off her medication for some time and was struggling with maintaining her mental health. Officer advised husband where caller was transported to and how he could follow up with the hospital. Husband thanked Officer for his time and Officer returned to patrol.   Approved
3/16/2020 6:35 AM Behavioral Health Hawthorne Dr. On this date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to the residence having a panic attack. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with subject who advised that she was scared and nervous because her husband tries to control her.  It was obvious that subject was having a bout of paranoia. Upon speaking with subject's husband he stated they had an appointment with her primary doctor this afternoon.  Subject assured Officer that she would go to her doctor today and that would discuss the issues she was having.  Officer then returned to patrol   Approved
