10/8/2017	4:25 PM	Message Delivery	Willow Creek Dr.	Officer was requested by the Village of Dalton Police Department to make contact with subject in reference to a failure to pay/drive off. Officer made contact with subject and delivered message. Officer advised Dalton Police Department of his findings.
10/8/2017	6:18 PM	Traffic Stop	North Chillicothe St.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a silver Chevy sedan. Officer initiated a traffic stop. Officer made contact with Matthew Bugg and the vehicle passenger/vehicle owner.  Matthew was issued a traffic citation for No Valid Operator License, Non Compliance Suspension, and Reckless Operation. Matthew was issued a criminal summons for Failure to Comply.  Vehicle was towed to PCPD impound lot.
10/8/2017	2:09 AM	Open Door	Doe St.	Officer was on patrol at listed location.  Officer observed the garage door was open.  Officer made contact with homeowner who secured the door and thanked Officer for his time.
10/9/2017	4:15 PM	Driving Complaint	US Rt. 42 N	Officer was dispatched to US 42 near West Ave referencing a driving complaint. Officer stopped the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle operator, Subject was advised of the complaint and given a warning for the complaint.

10/9/2017	5:35 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	West Main St.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a subject shooting an air soft gun at a sign behind the building. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the subject and advised him he could not use an air soft gun anywhere in the village.	Domino's Pizza
10/9/2017	9:49 AM	Assist Other Agency	Plain City-Georgesville Rd.	Officer responded to the listed location as backup for the Madison County Sheriff's Office.  Officer returned to patrol once his assistance was no longer needed.
10/9/2017	12:31 AM	Road Hazard	West Main St.	Officer was on patrol on West Main Street.  Officer observed a tree in front of the listed location had fallen and was blocking the sidewalk and part of the roadway, lying on the crosswalk. 10/10/2017	3:27 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Chillicothe St.	Officer observed a light inside a vehicle parked in front of the listed location while on patrol.  Officer made contact with the vehicle's owner.  Once determining everything checked okay Officer returned to patrol.
10/10/2017	1:25 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was dispatched to Carlisle Gifts in reference to suspicious circumstances on 10/9/17.  Officer met with the manager of Carlisle Gifts and two employees who advised Officer of the unusual event.  Officer encouraged both employees to contact the Police in the future when such an event occurs. 10/10/2017	6:18 PM	Solicitor	Plumwood Ct.	Officer was dispatched to the area of Willowcreek Dr. and Cooper Ln. referencing suspicious persons. Officer made contact with Kevin Burt and Derayle Tyus.  Kevin & Derayle stated they were working for American Weathertech Siding and Roofing.  Both Kevin and Derayle were subsequently cited for Peddler/Solicitor.  Officer also advised them of the proper procedure to obtain a permit, before returning to patrol.
10/11/2017	5:00 PM	Suspicious Person	South Chillicothe St.	Officers received a direct contact advising that two suspicious people had been walking along the bike path behind the elementary school. Officers checked the area on foot, but were unable to locate anyone.	Plain City Elementary School
10/11/2017	10:45 AM	Theft/Identity	Nappa Alley	Officer met with subject at the police department in reference to someone using subject’s Amazon account without permission. Officer advised subject to change passwords and cancel the card in case the account had been compromised.
10/11/2017	7:21 PM	Message Delivery	Maple St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a message delivery for Delaware Police Dept. Dispatch advised that a theft had occurred. Subject was then provided the phone number to City of Delaware dispatch. Officer stood by as subject called dispatch, to ensure that contact was made.
10/11/2017	2:15 AM	Non-Injury Crash	North Chillicothe St.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a vehicle crash. Officer made contact with driver.  Officer noted there was no damage to the fence.	Pastime Park

10/12/2017	8:27 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Willowbrook Ct.	Officer was on routine patrol and observed a vehicle with its interior lights on at the listed location.  Vehicle owner was advised.
10/13/2017	8:06 PM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	Maple St.	Officer was met by Leslie Beachy and another subject at the listed location. Leslie had a confirmed warrant out of the Union County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a drug abuse instrument charge. Leslie was placed into custody and transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail and booked in on the above warrant.	Agape Church
10/13/2017	4:30 PM	Recovered/Found Property	Spaulding Ave.	Officer was met at the Police Department by subject.  Subject had located, in front of her place of residence, a small, plastic zip-loc bag that  appeared to contain a white, gelatinous substance. The plastic bag was processed as recovered property and placed in a sealed, larger plastic bag.
10/14/2017	6:20 PM	Suspicious Person	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person.  Upon arrival, Officer made contact with subject. Subject was advised to calm down and behave.	Daily Needs Assistance
10/14/2017	4:05 PM	Recovered/Found Property	North Ave.	Officer was flagged down by citizen who advised she had located a set of keys on North Avenue while walking around.  On 10/16/17 owner of the keys came to the Police Department to claim the keys.
10/14/2017	1:08 PM	911 Follow-up	Johnson Ct.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a 911 follow-up. Officer made contact with Chad Frey at his residence. He advised that everything was fine. Officer then returned to patrol.
10/14/2017	8:41 AM	Animal Complaint - Other	East Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference an animal complaint. Complainant advised that a canine had defecated on his property.  Complainant did not have any surveillance of the area where the animal defecated.  Officer returned to patrol.	Dr. Pickens
10/14/2017	8:03 AM	Non-Injury Crash/Private	East Bigelow Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a non-injury private property crash.  Officer met with subject who advised while backing her vehicle she struck the front of another vehicle.  Officer advised owner of the other vehicle of the incident. Insurance information was provided to both parties. Officer then returned to patrol.
