The Officer determined no burglary had taken place and complainant possibly had a reaction to medication. Complainant was transported to the hospital by her son without further incident.
9/12/2017	3:45 PM	Traffic Stop	West Ave.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a silver Dodge Dakota. Tracy Underwood was issued a citation for Non Compliance Suspension and No Valid Operator License. The vehicle was towed to the Plain City Impound lot. His license plates were seized and sent to the BMV.
9/12/2017	5:25 PM	Well-being Check	Fairfield Dr.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location referencing a well-being check requested by employer. Contact was made with the resident and stated she was fine.
9/12/2017	8:25 PM	Recovered/Found Property	Maple St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a found bicycle. Contact was made with the caller upon arrival who stated the bicycle had been left in her driveway. Officer took the bicycle back to the police department. On 9/20/17 Officer returned bicycle to owner.

9/13/2017	4:40 PM	911 Unknown	Willow Bend Cir	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a 911 unknown call. Contact was made with caller and advised that everything was okay.
9/13/2017	9:00 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	Converse Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a theft. Contact was made with the complainant. She stated that her purse was stolen out of her vehicle. Officer advised her to monitor all bank records and cancel all current credit and debit cards that were in the purse.
9/13/2017	4:30 PM	Failure to Pay	West Main St.	Officer received direct complaint referencing a failure to pay at the listed location. Subject was contacted by the Officer and was advised to get payment by 1800 Hrs or be charged. Later, that night subject paid her debt.	Mike's Pit Stop
9/13/2017	9:02 AM	Animal Complaint - Other	East Main St.	Officer responded to a report of dogs defecating in the roadway and on the business owner's property. Complainant identified a subject and the dog. Officer spoke to the subject and was warned to keep the dogs on her property and not to let them run loose. Officer picked the feces up out of the roadway and discarded it.
9/13/2017	10:24 PM	Parking Complaint	East Main St.	Officer received a parking complaint in front of the listed location. Upon arrival Officer observed the vehicle in question was legally parked. Caller advised the Officer that the vehicle owner moved it prior to arrival of the Officer.
9/14/2017	11:10 AM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival all parties were calm. All parties were advised to try to remain calm in the future and to stay away from each other until they calmed down.
9/14/2017	3:45 PM	Bad Checks	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a bad check. Upon arrival Officer spoke with the complainant who received a check on 09-08-2017 paying for gas. Complainant advised the account was closed and did not have any funds. 9/15/2017	11:29 PM	Juvenile	West Main St.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a juvenile compliant. The caller stated that several juveniles were being loud in the parking lot just west of his residence. Upon arrival the Officer made contact with the juvenile's in question. They apologized for the noise and stated that they were waiting for the female subject's ride before they could all leave. Officer made contact with each juvenile’s parents to advise them of the complaint. The ride then arrived on scene and the three female subjects left; the male subjects left as well.
9/15/2017	12:46 AM	Assist Other Agency	US 42 N	Officers were dispatched to the listed location at the request of the Union County Sheriff’s Office, in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Deputies had made contact with two subjects inside a grey Chevy Van, Michelle Wright and William Garnett. Both parties had entered warrants for their arrest and were placed into custody without issue	The American Inn
9/15/2017	6:41 PM	Parking Complaint	Lantern Ln.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a parking complaint. Officer observed a silver ford Focus parked near the intersection of Lantern Lane and Carriage drive. I asked the vehicle owner to move the vehicle to avoid any issues. Subject moved the vehicle into his driveway without any issues.
9/15/2017	7:39 PM	Assist Other Agency	Plain City-Georgesville Rd.	Officers were requested by the West Jefferson Police Department to locate a hit-skip vehicle that was traveling northbound on Plain City-Georgesville Road. Officer made contact with WJPD's dispatch who advised that the vehicle was headed eastbound and they no longer needed assistance.
9/15/2017	8:13 PM	Alarm Drop	Noteman Rd.	Officer, while on routine patrol, observed the alarm was on. Officer requested dispatch make contact with owner and advise him. Officer was advised that someone would be en route to check it.
9/15/2017	8:55 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	West Main St.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a burglary in progress complaint. Upon arrival contact was made with the homeowner. Resident advised that she was doing some work inside and everything was fine.
9/16/2017	10:55 AM	Assist Other Agency	SR 161 E	Officer was dispatched to assist Union County Sheriff’s Office on an injury crash at the intersection of Middleburg-Plain City Rd. and SR 161. Officer assisted with traffic detail until assistance was no longer needed.
9/16/2017	1:09 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Plain City-Georgesville Rd.	Officer was on patrol when flagged down by pedestrian who advised he just ran out of gas. Subject requested Officer take him to his residence. Officer transported subject to his residence, where he stated he would get a gas can and find other arrangements to get his vehicle.
9/17/2017	3:47 PM	Missing Juvenile	Dogwood Ct.	Officer responded to call in reference to a direct complaint of a missing juvenile. Complainant stated that she was unable to locate her 17 year old son and that her last contact with him was 9/16/17 in the afternoon. While gathering information from complainant she received a call from her son. Officer spoke with complainant’s son on the phone advising him to return home. After the call, Officer advised complaint about the possibility of filing unruly charges
9/17/2017	8:35 PM	Assist Other Agency	US Rt. 42 N	Officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff’s Office to check in the area of US 42 near SR 736 for a bicyclist that was possibly a road hazard. Upon arrival Officer made contact with subject and deemed everything fine.
9/17/2017	5:35 PM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	Willowbrook Ct.	Officers attempted to service a warrant at the listed location. Officers made contact with Jodi Williamson who had a warrant out of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a traffic offense. Officer placed Jodi into custody and transported her to the Tri-County Regional Jail where she was booked in on the above warrant.
9/17/2017	3:31 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	South Chillicothe St.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a burglary in progress. Officer made contact with subject who stated he had permission from homeowner to remove the scrap material from the home. At that time the son of the owner arrived and stated that subject had permission to be at that address and to remove the material.
9/17/2017	2:05 PM	Threatened Suicide	Friend St.	Officer was advised subject had made vague suicidal comments on Facebook. Officer attempted to make contact with subject at her last known address but was advised that subject no longer lived there. Officer made contact with subject's boyfriend, via phone. He advised that they were in the process of contacting the Columbus Police Department if subject did not go to the hospital to be evaluated.	Plain City Police Department
9/17/2017	9:45 AM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	Plain City-Georgesville Rd.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a dark blue Ford Focus. Officer learned that the vehicle owner, Jaylynn S. Cahill currently had a warrant out of Union Co. Sheriff's Office for a Failure to Appear for a Probation Violation and also was currently under suspension. Officer initiated a traffic stop Officer and  placed Mr. Cahill into custody. He was subsequently cited for OVI/Court Suspension, Twelve-Point Suspension , No Valid Operator’s License, and given a warning for Driving the Wrong Way. Union County Deputy arrived on scene and transported Mr. Cahill to Tri-County Regional Jail. Subject's vehicle was impounded and taken to the Plain City Police Dept. Impound lot. During the impound inventory, marijuana was located in the glove box of Mr. Cahill's vehicle. Mr. Cahill is also charged with Possession of a Marijuana. His license plates were seized and sent to the BMV.
9/17/2017	2:48 AM	Animal Complaint - Other	West Main St.	Officer was on patrol on West Main Street when he observed a brown Labrador Retriever walking east along the sidewalk alone. Officer did have prior knowledge that one had wandered away from a residence earlier in the shift and was able to make contact with the dog’s owner by phone. Owner retrieve his dog and was advised of the consequences of dogs running loose.
9/17/2017	12:15 AM	Assist Other Agency	SR 161	Officer responded to the listed location at the request of the Union County Sheriff’s Office in reference to an alarm drop. Upon arrival Officer checked the location and found nothing out of the ordinary.	Costco
9/17/2017	7:55 PM	911 Follow-up	Gay St.	Officer was dispatched in the area of Gay Street near Spaulding Avenue in reference to a 911 follow up. No one was seen in the area upon Officer's arrival. Officer attempted contact with caller several times, but call went straight to voicemail. Officer patrolled the area but was unable to locate anyone near where the call was mapping.
9/18/2017	9:25 AM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	South Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a noise complaint. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the subject and advised him of the complaint.	Plain City Elementary School
9/18/2017	3:59 PM	Traffic Stop	North Chillicothe St.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a grey Mercury Villager. The registration returned to Douglas Criner, a suspended driver. The vehicle registration was also expired. Douglas was issued a traffic citation for driving on a Non Compliance Suspension , No Valid Operator License, and Child Support Suspension. Subject also received a verbal warning for expired registration.  The vehicle was towed to the Plain City Police Department Impound lot.
9/18/2017	9:30 PM	Assist Other Agency	US Rt. 42 S	Officer was dispatched to the listed location to assist Madison County Sheriff's Office in finding a suspicious person walking along US RT 42 near Jonathan Alder High School. Officer checked the area and was unable to locate the person.
9/19/2017	11:22 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Carriage Dr.	Officer was dispatched to the area in front of the listed location in reference to a road hazard. Dispatch advised a small dark vehicle was traveling in front of the listed location knocking down orange cones. Officer searched the area but could not locate the vehicle, but observed several cones that had been knocked down. Officer met with the caller who stated she followed them down several streets in her neighborhood before the vehicle left out of town south bound on Plain City- Georgesville Road. Once the vehicle left the area she contacted the police. Officer explained to the caller the safety concerns with her following the vehicle. I then picked up the cones and returned to patrol.
9/19/2017	4:19 AM	Open Door	West Main St.	Officer was conducting a check of the listed location when Officer found the front door unlocked. Officer completed a check of the interior and found everything to check okay.	Ol' 42 Grub House
9/19/2017	5:01 PM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	Jackson St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a noise complaint. While driving towards the residence Officer could hear loud music. Officer made contact with resident owner and advised him that there was a complaint about his music being so loud. He was warned to turn down his music to avoid being cited via the noise ordinance. He complied.
