Subjects were looking for their dog that ran away. A short time later Officer and Deputy located the dog which was returned to the owners.
10/1/2017	3:41 AM	Domestic Dispute	East Main St.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 unknown.  Both parties agreed to remain calm and separate until caller left the residence.
10/1/2017	5:55 PM	Civil Dispute/Standby	Willowbrook Ct.	Officers met with the listed party at the listed location in reference to a civil standby. Officer stood by until his presence was no longer needed.
10/1/2017	12:22 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Chillicothe St.	Officer observed a vehicle parked near the listed locations playground. Officer advised subjects that the playground is closed after dark. Subjects apologized and stated that they would leave immediately.	Plain City Elementary School

10/2/2017	4:50 PM	911 Follow-up	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow up. Upon arrival Officer spoke with subject who advised she did not need any assistance.
10/2/2017	5:11 PM	Disabled Vehicle	West Main St.	Officers was dispatched to the listed location in reference a disabled vehicle that was stuck in the roadway due to a mechanical issue. Officers made contact with driver and assisted in traffic detail until vehicle was towed.	Mike's Pit Stop
10/2/2017	8:12 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a payment issue. Officer advised subject that this was a civil issue and to continue attempting to speak with his girlfriend pertaining to this issue.
10/3/2017	9:03 AM	Behavioral Health	North Ave.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a behavioral health issue. Upon arrival, Officer met with subject and his mother. Subject was given a warning for Disorderly Conduct and was advised to contact the Union County Board of Developmental Disabilities for assistance and possible counseling. After determining that the situation had calmed, Officer returned to patrol.
10/3/2017	11:56 AM	Marijuana	South Chillicothe St.	Officer received a call about two suspicious people. Officer located 2 subjects, one of which was Kendrick Hodge.  While Officer was speaking to subjects, Kendrick admitted to having marijuana. Officer seized the baggie of marijuana and also located a large jar of marijuana, scale and baggies in his backpack. The items were seized and Kendrick Hodge was charged with Possession of Marijuana and Marijuana Paraphernalia. 10/3/2017	9:50 PM	Threatened Suicide	Maple Ct.	Officer received a report from a suicide hotline that a female subject had called in.  After some investigation the Officer was able to make contact with the female subject.  Female subject agreed to be taken to Children's Hospital.
10/4/2017	10:56 PM	Breaking and Entering - In Progress	North Ave.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to someone having just attempted to enter the garage there. Officer met with the complainant who stated she believed it was her estranged husband. Complainant requested extra patrol and thanked Officer for checking the area. Officer spoke with complainant’s estranged husband by phone, he denied being on the property.
10/4/2017	4:11 AM	Open Door	West Main St.	Officer was on foot patrol when Officer found the door to the listed location unsecured. Officer found nothing out of the ordinary, secured the door and returned to patrol.	Plain City Animal Hospital
10/4/2017	6:05 PM	Non-Injury Crash	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was dispatched to listed location in reference to a non-injury crash. Officer made contact with subject who advised that she was involved in a non-injury crash with Teresa A. Blackstone. Officer made contact with Teresa. Teresa was subsequently cited for Assured Clear Distance Ahead.
10/5/2017	2:06 AM	Assist Other Agency	US 42	Officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff's Office to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Officer returned to patrol after assistance was no longer needed.	Ohio Beef Council
10/5/2017	11:20 AM	Dog Bite	West Main St.	Officer was met on station by subject who advised that on 10/04/2017 a dog bit her dog  on the left rear leg causing injury.  Officer advised owner, of the other dog, of the incident. Both parties were advised of the leash ordinance and advised if the incident occurred again there could be criminal charges.
10/5/2017	11:40 AM	Suspicious Vehicle	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person. Office located subject and advised her that without an appointment, she could not solicit residences door to door until she obtained a solicitor’s permit.

10/5/2017	6:15 PM	Juvenile	West Ave.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a juvenile possibly tampering with the speed sign on West Avenue near Gay Street. Officer patrolled the area.  After deeming everything fine, Officer returned to patrol.
10/5/2017	8:46 PM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	South Chillicothe St.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a maroon Chevy Van.  Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle owner/driver Annamaria Millay.   Annamaria was advised she had a confirmed warrant out of Madison County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Appear on a traffic violation. Annamaria was placed into custody and transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail and booked in on the attached warrant.
10/5/2017	11:27 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Noteman Rd.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft of a cat. Officer met with both parties.  Both parties were advised that the cat is considered a stray due to wandering the neighborhood.
10/5/2017	12:24 AM	Open Door	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer found an unsecure door at the listed location. Officer did not observe anything out of the ordinary. Officer secured the door and returned to patrol.	PC Pediatrics
10/6/2017	1:05 AM	Rx - Prescription Drugs	Alcott Dr.	While on patrol Officer observed a suspicious vehicle. Officer made contact with the driver, Marc St John and passenger.  After further investigation, Marc agreed to a consent search of his vehicle, where a bottle of Hydrocodone and Cyclobenzaprine not belonging to him were found.  Marc was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and taken to Tri-County Regional Jail.  Passenger was charged with Minor’s Curfew.
10/7/2017	9:22 PM	Drunk Driver	South Chillicothe St.	Officer responded to the area of 213 South Chillicothe Street in reference to a possible injury crash. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the vehicle's driver, Mariya Muntyan, and her passenger. Upon further investigation Mariya was placed into custody for OVI. Mariya was issued a citation for OVI, Failure to control and a summons for Open Container.
10/7/2017	8:29 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a harassment complaint. Officer made contact with complainant.  Officer advised complainant that this was a civil issue and that he would need to meet with subjects regarding this issue.
10/7/2017	1:19 PM	Traffic Stop	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a black Toyota Camry. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver/owner, Kiley Roberts. Kiley was issued a citation for Non Compliance Suspension, No Valid Operator License and a warning for Expired Registration. Kiley's vehicle was towed to the Plain City Impound lot and her license plates were seized and sent to the BMV, per BMV request.
10/7/2017	7:47 PM	Parking Complaint	Carriage Dr.	Officer observed a gray Chevy Silverado parked on Carriage Drive near West Avenue. The vehicle was in violation of several parking ordinances and appeared to be a hazard to other motorists. Officer made contact with the vehicle driver, Jeffrey Springer to advise him of the violations. Jeffrey Springer was issued a citation for No Valid Operator License, Non Compliance Suspension and Failure to Reinstate. Jeffrey was also given a verbal warning for the parking violations.
