Officer met with the caller who stated he received a voicemail from a person named Mack with "Legal Services" that stated he needed to call a certain number referencing his email address, social security number, and other personal information. The caller advised that he did not provide any information and did not call the number back. Officer advised the caller to monitor his bank account for the next few days for fraudulent withdrawals.

The caller advised that a black and white dog and a German Sheppard were running around. Officer was able to make contact with the owner who arrived a short time later and secured the animals and the door. Officer warned him about the dogs running loose.
8/29/2017	5:10 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an animal complaint. Officer met with the caller who stated that there was a skunk in his trash can. Officer then removed the skunk from the trash can and released it.

The resident stated that sometime during the day, she believed someone was attempting to gain access to her home. Officer advised to make sure her residence's doors and windows were locked to ensure safety and the department would provide extra patrol.

She advised that she had been trying to reach her friend for several hours and wasn't able to get a hold of her. After speaking with friends and family of the caller’s friend, Officer learned that she was at her daughter's residence and was fine.

After speaking with the callers, their foster child, and further investigation the photographs were taken and sent from a location outside the Plain City Police Department's jurisdiction. Officer contacted the Union County Sheriff’s Office who took over investigation.

9/2/2017	1:06 AM	Assist Other Agency	Lafayette-Plain City Rd.	Officer responded to the listed area at the request of the Union County Sheriff’s Office, to assist on a consent search. Upon arrival, Officer stood by until assistance was no longer needed.

Officer explained to the daughter that physically acting on anger leads to significant adverse consequences. The daughter apologized to her mother and promised not to act out in anger.

Officer made contact with the subject and learned that subject had a flat tire on his silver Dodge Van.
