5/4/2019	3:45 AM	Drunk Driver	US Rt. 42 N	Officer was sitting stationary on US Rt. 42 N near North Chillicothe Street when a silver 2004 Acura pulled up next to Officer and parked. The driver, Chantel Frye, exited her vehicle and approached Officer’s vehicle. Upon speaking with her, Officer smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage about her person. After further investigation, Chantel was placed under arrest for OVI. Chantel's vehicle was secured on scene and she was transported to the police department where she refused a breath test. She was then released to a valid driver and advised of her court date. See case and body camera for further.		Returned
5/4/2019	8:21 AM	911 Unknown	North Chillicothe St.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 unknown. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller at campsite 16. Caller stated that he activated his cell phones emergency call by mistake. After determining that everything checked okay, Officer returned to patrol.	Plain City Area Baseball Association	Approved
5/4/2019	11:32 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Pastime Park manager requested a police unit to be on site to observe and document the extraction of a camper by a tow-truck. The camper was attempting to pull out her fifth wheel, with a truck, when the pulling truck became stuck in the mud.  Manager was concerned that additional damage to the ground would occur by the tow-truck.  The rollback tow-truck successfully extracted the vehicle and the camper. Deep ruts were made in the ground by the owner attempting to drive the camper out.	Plain City Area Baseball Association	Approved
5/4/2019	3:49 PM	Non-Injury Crash/Private	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer responded to the listed location advising of a private property crash in the parking lot at the listed location. The caller stated that a Gold Chevy Malibu was backing from a parking space at Der Dutchman Restaurant and struck the side of her vehicle as she passed behind it. Caller requested an incident report for insurance purposes. Upon arrival, Officer met with the owner of the other vehicle.  Officer then observed damage on the passenger side front door of the other driver’s grey 2013 Honda CR-V.  Both parties had already exchanged insurance and contact information prior to Officer’s arrival. 5/4/2019	4:33 PM	Failure to Pay	West Main St.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the business owner who stated that a white sports coupe, driven by a female, pumped in gas and left without paying. Officer was able to identify the vehicle registered owner.  Officer drove to the address associated with this vehicle and made contact with the subject and advised subject of the complaint. Subject stated that she thought her debit card swiped but that she would drive to the business to arrange payment. Officer followed subject to the business and confirmed the restitution. 5/4/2019	12:09 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was on patrol when Officer observed two suspicious vehicles at the listed location. Officer made contact with both subjects who advised they were just talking. Subject 1 was advised he was in violation of curfew. Subject 1 was given a warning for Curfew and Criminal Trespass.  Subject 1 was released and advised to go to his residence. Subject 2 was given a warning for Criminal Trespass and advised his vehicle's registration was expired. Once Officer determined everything to be okay, Officer then returned to patrol. 5/5/2019	1:22 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to South Chillicothe Street in reference to a suspicious person/vehicle parked in the back of the listed location. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with subject who advised he was parked behind the listed location because he was just previously visiting a resident at the Madison Square Apartments.  Subject stated he was trying to be sneaky and parked there while he was visiting the resident.  Subject was told to leave and not return. 5/5/2019	12:00 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	SR 161 E	Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a sign that was struck on SR 161 and Old SR 161. The sign was the "Old SR 161 and "Entering Corporation Limit" street signs. There did not appear to be any damage to the signs. Officer contacted the Village of Plain City Street Department to make them aware. Officer then returned to patrol.		Pending

5/5/2019	12:00 PM	Drunk Driver	South Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to Plain City Georgesville Road near Cemetery Pike in reference to a driving complaint. Officer located the vehicle heading north on Plain City Georgesville Road near Darby Fields Blvd. Officer observed driver and owner of the vehicle to be Hugh Butler. Upon further investigation, Hugh was placed into custody for OVI. Hugh was issued a citation for OVI, OVI Concentration and Driving Under Suspension outside restrictions/privileges. Hugh was later transported to his residence where he was released. Hugh's vehicle was impounded and towed to the Police Department’s impound lot where it was secured. Subject stated that the black Huffy bike had been leaning against the church for several weeks now and no one has come to claim it. 5/5/2019	5:24 PM	Neighbor Dispute	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to Pastime Park in reference to a dispute over a camper space. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the complainant who advised she had paid for lot 33 and it was currently occupied by another camper. Officer then spoke with subject who occupied lot 33 and subject stated that he was originally on lot 34 but the ground was too loose to support his camper, so he moved to lot 33. Subject advised that lot 33 was just as loose and that he would need to get a tow off the lot. Complainant had a driving RV that would have sunk in lot 33 so she agreed to park at a lot that would support her vehicle. Both parties agreed to the status quo until Park Manager could provide an amenable solution. Park Manager was advised of all communications and advised that she would be closing the campgrounds due to excessive conditions. Officer then returned to patrol.	Pastime Park	Pending

Officer advised subject to contact the Police Department if he needs any assistance. Officers then returned to patrol. Officer contacted caller and advised caller of Officer’s findings.		Pending

Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller who stated that subject began to shake while the two were watching TV and then went unconscious. Officers observed that subject did not appear to be breathing and had a slight pulse. Officers performed CPR until Medic arrived and transported subject to the hospital.
