10/10/2019 11:59 PM Trespasser North Mechanic St. Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a trespasser. When checking the area, Officer located suspect in front of Daily Needs Assistance. Officer stayed on scene with suspect, while another Officer left to make contact with the caller.  Caller advised suspect was knocking on the windows wanting to speak with caller.   Caller requested suspect to "go home" and said that suspect was not allowed on the property. Caller's brother advised that when checking his sister's room, he found suspect entering via caller's bedroom window. Caller's brother yelled at suspect that he needed to leave and, again, said he was not allowed at the residence. Officer spoke with the homeowner about the incident who advised she did not want to pursue with charges. Caller, caller's brother, and suspect were advised to no longer have any contact with each other, whether via social media or in-person. Suspect was given a warning for Criminal Trespass.  Officers then returned to patrol.   Pending
10/10/2019 11:03 PM Assist Other Agency Shepper Ave. Officer was dispatched to the listed location by Union Co. Sheriff's Office to attempt to locate subject.  Officer advised Union Co. Sheriff's Office of findings and provided subject's phone number before returning to patrol.   Pending
10/10/2019 8:42 PM Assist Other Agency Amity Pk. Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a burglary in progress. Dispatch later advised the caller seemed under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with caller who advised Officer his brother was out running behind the barn and seemed to be under the influence of something. Officers later located suspect walking up to the house. Officers advised suspect to come talk to Officers when suspect ran away into a field. Officers later caught up to suspect and assisted him to the ground where suspect was detained for his safety.  During this time suspect advised Officer he was having a bad acid trip. MCSO Deputy arrived on scene and took a report. Suspect was transported to hospital by medic.  Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending

10/10/2019 7:00 PM Failure to Pay West Main St. On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a drive off. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with caller who advised Officer a silver Honda drove off without paying for gas. Officer later made contact with the vehicle owner who advised Officer that his vehicle had not gotten gas at Marathon. Officer advised Marathon of this. Marathon advised they would attempt to review the footage in the near future. Officer then returned to patrol. Marathon/Lovejoy Food Mart Pending
10/10/2019 3:42 PM Well-being Check North Chillicothe St. Officer received a call from PC Parks Director in reference to a suspicious person. Complainant advised Officer that an individual is staying at the primitive camping area and going around asking other campers for money. Complainant was also advised that there may be drug activity at their tent and was concerned for the children staying at the site. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with campsite tenant along with 2 subjects and their children.  Officer checked on the children and they were clean with plenty of food at the campsite. All parties denied any drug usage. Officer advised parties that they could not go around asking for money from other campers. All parties were given some suggestions if they needed any assistance within the Village. After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol. Pastime Park Approved
10/10/2019 2:44 PM Counterfeit West Main St. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a fraudulent check. Upon arrival, Officer met with Branch Manager of the Richwood Bank.  Branch Manager advised Officer that she was notified by Richwood Bank Security, that they had several fraudulent checks that were cashed at various locations (Plain City, Marysville, Richwood, Springfield, and Delaware).  Contact was made with Marysville Police Department in reference to them possibly investigating all incidents that occurred in Union County. Case pending. Richwood Bank Approved
