10/3/2019 8:11 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified Central Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a possible slander incident. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with complainant who advised Officer he heard from several third parties that his ex-girlfriend was going around saying he raped her. Officer  later made contact with the ex-girlfriend and her guardian.   Officer spoke with them about the allegations. The ex-girlfriend and her guardian advised they would possibly come in on 10-05-2019 for an interview if they wanted to pursue anything.    Pending
10/3/2019 1:30 PM Criminal Damaging Gay St. Officer spoke to complainant who advised last night someone came into the business after hours.  Complainant stated medical supplies in their surgery room were opened and destroyed. Complainant said they suspected a subject, but had no proof of and did not want to pursue any charges or investigation. Complainant is requesting additional patrol of their business. 10/4/2019 2:34 AM Animal Complaint - Other Lafayette-Plain City Rd. Officer observed a loose canine in the area of Lafayette Plain-City Rd and Perry Pike. The canine was a black and white medium-size mixed breed. Officer was able to locate the owner via the Madison County Dog tag.  The dog was then returned to the residence before Officer returned to patrol.  This incident was forwarded to Madison County Sheriff's Office Dog Warden.   Pending
10/4/2019 3:33 AM Assist Other Agency US Rt. 42 S  Officer was requested by Madison County Sheriff's Office to check the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol. The Cheese House Approved
10/4/2019 4:05 PM Cocaine/Crack West Main St. Officer conducted a routine registration check on a blue Dodge Durango traveling westbound on West Main Street near North Chillicothe St. The registration returned to Taleah Dematteo, a wanted person. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle. MCSO confirmed Taleah's warrants - 2 Felony RSP, 2 Felony Forgery, and 1 Felony Theft (See media for copies). Officer made contact with Taleah and her passenger, Michael Wampler. Michael also had a confirmed warrant out of the MCSO for a probation violation. Both parties were placed into custody. During the investigation, Michael claimed possession of two glass crack pipes and a plastic bag he advised was crack-cocaine. Both parties were transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.  Taleah was booked in on her warrants. Michael was booked in on his warrant and drug paraphernalia.  Felony Charges pending lab review.   Approved
10/5/2019 3:06 PM DOC Smith Pl. Officers responded to the area of North Mechanic St in reference to a possible domestic violence/dispute. Officer met with the caller/witness and the victim at the Plain City Library. Officer met with the suspect, Kaleb Kelly, a witness and another subject who declined to provide information/witness statement on the incident. During the investigation, it was learned Kaleb confronted the victim for hanging out with/dating female subject.  Kaleb advised Officer, he and victim got in a verbal dispute then wrestled on the ground. Officer was able to view video from Mike's Pit Stop that showed victim attempting to avoid the confrontation/getaway. Kaleb was later issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct. See case/ SOF for further.  Victim advised he did not want to pursue assault charges.     Approved
10/5/2019 5:01 AM Assist Other Agency Industrial Pkwy. Officer responded to the listed location at the request of the Union County Sheriff's Office in reference to an alarm drop. After assistance was no longer needed, Officer  returned to patrol. Williamson Builders Approved
10/5/2019 2:03 PM Assist Other Agency Plain City-Georgesville Rd. Officers responded to the intersection of Plain City Georgesville Rd and Cemetery Pk in reference to a possible injury crash. Upon arrival, Officers observed OSP Trooper was handling the crash. Officers assisted with traffic control.  Officers stood-by until assistance was no longer needed. Officers then returned to patrol.   Approved
10/5/2019 2:20 PM Juvenile Plain City-Georgesville Rd. On the stated date and time, while directing traffic at the intersection on Plain City-Georgesville Road and Cemetery Pike, Officer observed a white male (juvenile) riding a bicycle northbound on Plain City-Georgesville Road. Officer advised juvenile that he shouldn't be riding a bicycle on that road due to the high speeds and heavy traffic. Due to the volume of traffic, Officer wasn't able to get any further information for him and lost sight of juvenile.  At 1830 Hrs Officer was met by complainant at the police department who advised Officer that she was concerned that a juvenile was riding his bicycle into Plain City, on Plain City Georgesville Road. The description she provided matched the same juvenile earlier.  Officer was able to determine who the juvenile was.  Officer made contact with the juveniles guardians, via public service, and advised them of the incident. They both stated that juvenile wasn't permitted to be riding his bicycle on Plain City-Georgesville Road. Guardian said that she would put a stop to it. Guardian thanked Officer for letting them know about the situation.   Approved
10/6/2019 11:40 PM Traffic Stop US Rt. 42 S  Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a 2008 black Chevy sedan did not have a license plate that was legible. Officer then initiated a traffic stop with the above-described vehicle on US42 near Alcott Dr and made contact with the driver, Anthony Grieser. Anthony was advised of the violation and stated he did not have a valid driver's license.  Upon further review of Anthony's driver history, it was learned that Anthony had several current suspensions on his license. Anthony also advised that he was aware of the issues with his license plate and driver's license, due to a recent traffic stop with the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Anthony was subsequently issued a citation for Non-Compliance Suspension, License Forfeiture Suspension, No Valid OL, Expired Tags, and Display of License Plate. Anthony's vehicle was towed to the PCPD Impound lot. Anthony and his passenger were provided a ride to a nearby motel.     Returned
10/6/2019 3:52 AM Drunk South Chillicothe St. Officer was on foot patrol when Officer could hear yelling from the listed location. Officer met with two female subjects.  One female subject advised her friend was intoxicated and was having difficulty walking from her driveway to the residence due to her intoxication level and pre-existing injury (stress fracture). Female subject advised she was yelling at her friend to get inside the residence. Both subjects were escorted into the residence without further issue. Both subjects were given a warning for Disorderly Conduct, before returning to patrol.   Approved

10/6/2019 3:03 PM Assist Other Unit Mitchell Dewitt Rd. Officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff's Office to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Prior to arrival, Officer was advised Officer was no longer needed. Officer then returned to patrol.   Approved
10/6/2019 4:05 PM 911 Follow-up East First Ave. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow up. Dispatch advised they received a call from a female who was whispering but quickly lost connection. Upon arrival, Officer met with caller, who advised she was having complications from a recent surgery. Medic arrived on scene shortly and transported caller to the hospital. Officer then returned to patrol.   Approved
10/6/2019 6:03 PM Parking Complaint Maple St. Officer was on patrol when Officer observed an unoccupied 2008 maroon Honda parked in a no parking zone, next to the Plain City Animal Hospital. Officer made contact with the vehicle owner who walked out of 165 West Main Street. Driver advised she knew she wasn't allowed to park there.  Driver was given a warning and was advised she would be getting a citation if she parks there again.   Approved
10/6/2019 6:30 PM Suspicious Person/Vehicle Central Ave. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person/vehicle. The caller advised a Budget rental van backed up into his yard and turned around. The caller advised he and the male got into a verbal argument.  The male drove off towards South Chillicothe Street. Upon arrival to the area, Officer could not locate the vehicle, and there was no damage to the property. After not being able to locate the vehicle, Officer then returned to patrol.   Approved
10/6/2019 1:36 AM Suspicious Vehicle South Jefferson Ave. Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a 2019 gray Jeep SUV parked at the listed location. Officer met with the driver who advised that she was parked at the business waiting for a friend to arrive so they could carpool. Once determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol. McDonald's Approved
