Officer met with complainant who advised that his three grandchildren (whom he has custody of) were missing. Complainant stated the children were told to meet him at the north playground but the children never showed up. Complainant and his wife searched the entire park and were unable to locate them. A few minutes later, the children were located near the horse barn. Officer learned that there was some miscommunication and the children went to the south playground, instead of the north. The caller wanted to meet with an officer on the parking lot of Little E's Ice Cream. Upon arrival, Officer learned that the call was a road rage incident that occurred near Costco on SR 161 East in Union County. 7/23/2019 | 10:13 AM | Parking Complaint | Village Blvd. | Officer responded to the listed location on a parking complaint involving a dark gray Nissan Murano. The employees from the business said that the vehicle had been parked there for over a week and that it was partially blocking a handicap parking space. Officer learned who the vehicle was registered to and contacted the owner. Vehicle owner agreed to move his vehicle further out into the lot to open up additional parking spaces closer to the entrances to the businesses. 7/24/2019 | 4:06 AM | Stolen Car | Lantern Ln. | On the stated date and time Officers responded to the area of Lantern Lane in reference to a suspicious person complaint. Upon arrival, Officers located Daniel Haynes and Michael Swayne. Upon further investigation, Officers learned that both parties and another male had been breaking into cars in the area. Officers also learned that they had driven a stolen Ford F-150 to the area. Both parties were transported to the Plain City Police Department and then to Tri-County Regional Jail for Theft.
