Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle driver/owner, Christopher Colflesh.  After further investigation, Christopher was placed into custody for OVI. Christopher was issued a traffic citation for OVI, OVI Prohibited Concentration, Traffic Control Devices, Prohibited Acts for a CDL Holder. See case for further.

Officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff’s Office to assist with a suspicious person that was possibly under the influence of illegal narcotics. After Officer’s assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.

Officer initiated a traffic stop with a red/maroon GMC SUV registered to Christina Diamond who was under suspension. Christina was subsequently cited for Non-Compliance Suspension and No Valid OL. Her vehicle was towed on scene by to the PCPD Impound Lot. She was released on foot, on scene. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a tree possibly striking the building. Upon arrival Officer learned that the tree had caused no damage to the structure and that the manager of property had been notified. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a tree that had fallen in the roadway. Upon arrival Officer located a tree blocking the roadway. Officer removed the tree so that it was no longer a hazard and returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a driving complaint. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Jose Martinez. Jose was subsequently issued a citation for No OL (ORC 4510.12A1) and Stop Sign (331.19). His vehicle was released a short time later to a valid driver.

Officer was at the police department when a subject turned in a wallet he found on the sidewalk along West Main Street. Officer later made contact with the owner of the wallet at which time his wallet was returned to him. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer later received a call from complainant who stated that he received a call from suspect’s father and they had agreed to have the panel replaced. Complainant thanked Officer for making contact with the suspect’s parents.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a possible domestic dispute. Dispatch advised that they received a 911 call from Nathan Stamper advising that he was involved a verbal dispute with his girlfriend at the listed location. Nathan was subsequently charged with Domestic Violence and Aggravated Menacing. See case for further information.

Officer conducted a routine registration check.                                                                                                                                                                                                               The information returned to vehicle owner, Rachel Writesel.  While approaching the vehicle Officer recognized the driver to be Aaron Applin a suspended driver. Aaron was issued a citation for driving under a Non-Compliance Suspension, No Valid OL, Failure to Reinstate and issued a criminal summons for marijuana paraphernalia. Rachel was issued a criminal summons for possession of marijuana and given a verbal warning for wrongful entrustment.  A valid driver picked up the vehicle and its occupants. See case for further.

Officer was on patrol when advised of a road hazard on US42, north of N. Chillicothe St. in the roadway. Officer located a semi mud flap in the roadway. It was taken back to the police department and disposed of in the dumpster. Officer then returned to patrol.
