Officer responded to the US 42 and North Chillicothe Street in reference to a direct complaint made regarding a semi tanker truck that was northbound on US 42 from the Cheese House. After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.

Officer was met on station by complainant who advised that on Saturday 04/28 he received a text message stating that his Visa card had been used.  Complainant was referred to each respective Law Enforcement Agency in reference to the fraudulent charges and attempts.

Officer was met at the Police Department by complainant.  Complainant advised she was a part of a credit card scam. Officer provided complainant with information to the Ohio Attorney General’s Office Help Center. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer observed a red Dodge Durango parked on Gay Street near Spaulding Avenue. The vehicle did not have any license plates on it. Officer made contact with the owner at his residence and advised him that the vehicle needed to be moved. Owner advised that he would move it right away. Officer returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to suspicious circumstances. Upon checking the area Officer’s were unable to locate anything out of the ordinary.

Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival, Officers checked the exterior and interior of the residence but were unable to locate anything out of the ordinary. Caller thanked Officers for their time and Officers returned to patrol.

Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a verbal dispute. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with all subjects involved.  Officers advised male subject’s mother it would be best if she left. Male and female subject advised they would be fine and if anything got out of hand one of them would leave. Officers then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a barking dog complaint. Officer attempted to make contact with the homeowner but was unsuccessful. Officer then returned to patrol.
Later that night Officer made contact with canine owner at the listed location and advised him of the complaint. Canine owner was advised of the ordinance prohibiting excessive barking and advised that he understood. Officer then returned to patrol.
