Officer observed a white GMC pick-up truck with a red tailgate that did not have a visible registration. Officer made contact with the vehicle driver, Joel Horton.  Joel was issued a citation for No Valid OL and Failure to Display License Plates.  The vehicle was towed to the Plain City Police Department impound lot. by Kirby’s Towing.

Officer observed a white Hyundai sedan with its hazard lights activated. Vehicle owner advised he struck a pothole and got a flat tire. Officer assisted with traffic control while tire was changed. Officer then returned to patrol.

West Bigelow Ave.
Officer responded to the listed location in reference to an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Upon further investigation Officer learned that subject was a co owner of the vehicle and took it using a key he had in his possession. Officer advised complainant that due to subject being a co owner he could operate the vehicle without complainant’s permission. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officers were requested by the Union County Sheriff's Office to respond to the listed location in reference to an overdose. Once assistance was no longer needed, Officers then returned to patrol.

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a green Ford SUV.  Officer then learned that the registered owner, Boyce W. Seely was under suspension.  Boyce Seely was subsequently cited for ALS suspension (ORC 4510.14A) and No Valid OL (4510.12A). He was also issued a summons for Drug Paraphernalia (ORC 2925.141C) and Possession of Drugs (ORC 2925.11). His vehicle was also towed to the Plain City Police Department Impound lot. Boyce was released on scene to a valid driver.

Officer was dispatched to 115 W. Bigelow Ave. in reference a non-injury crash.  Officer made contact with Juan Manuel Soto (Zacazontle) who was cited for Non Compliance Suspension (ORC 4510.16A), No Valid OL (ORC 4510.12A), Hit-Skip: Property Damage Only (ORC 4549.02A1B), and Failure to Yield- At a Stop Sign (PC ORD 331.19A). Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suicide attempt.  Subject agreed to voluntarily be transported by medic 261 to the Dublin Methodist Hospital. Once subject was transported by the medics, Officer returned to patrol.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a non-responsive female. Upon arrival it was determined that Dorothy Rosenborg was deceased. See case for further.

Officers met with the Parks and Recreation Director at Pastime Park, who advised that there were items left behind by a former customer.  Officer then met with subject and explained to her that she needed to get the items removed and cleanup the trash along the fence line or she could be charged with littering and the Village would be disposing of all of it in the trash. Subject advised that she understood and would get it all cleaned up.

Officer was on patrol on S. Jefferson Ave. when Officer conducted a routine registration check on a gold Lexus SUV.  Officer then learned the registered owner had an entered warrant (confirmed) out of Madison County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Appear on a Receiving Stolen Property charge. Madison County advised there must have been a mistake on their paperwork and that a warrant should not have been issued. Subject was then released on scene. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer went to the listed location in reference to entered warrants for Logan Johnson out of Madison County Municipal Court. Logan was placed in custody and advised that the 3 warrants were for Failure to Appear. (Original charges OVI, Possession of Drugs, and Disorderly Conduct.) Officer later transported Logan to Tri-County Jail, where he was released to them pending court or bond.

Officers responded to the listed location to locate Linda Ball. Linda had an entered warrant through the Madison County Sheriff’s Office for Failure to Appear from a traffic offense. Officer made contact with Linda and placed her into custody without incident. Officer transported Linda to the Tri-County Regional Jail where she was released into their custody. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a black Dodge Ram.  Officer learned the registration did not return to that vehicle.  Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and spoke with the vehicle driver, Elise Pyles, and her passenger, Aaron Parker.  Elise’s vehicle was towed to the Plain City Impound lot due to it not being properly registered. Elise was issued a citation for expired OL and Fictitious tags. Aaron was issued a criminal summons for possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.

Officer was dispatched to the area of Willowcreek Drive in reference to a suspicious person/vehicle. Officer approached the vehicle and made contact with Tristin Lester, who was seated in the driver’s seat, and Dylan Bowers, who was seated in the passenger seat. Both parties followed me back to the Plain City Police Department where they were both issued criminal summons for possession of marijuana and marijuana drug paraphernalia.
