On the stated date and time, Officer was on patrol at the listed location when Officer observed several trees with spray-painted Hearts on them.  Officer then asked several people staying at the campsites, but no one observed anything or anyone suspicious.  The Village was notified and will attempt to remove the spray paint.

Fight

West Main St.

On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to several juveniles trying to fight a group of adults. Upon arrival, Officers learned earlier in the night, a male juvenile was at the listed location when he was approached by several individuals asking him if he wanted to smoke marijuana. Juvenile declined and was called several names.  Juvenile stated he walked to a friend's house and was followed by the group.  The group that followed juvenile, left and went to the listed location, and met up with Kyle Hicks, along with several other individuals.  After meeting up with the listed parties, they all went to the listed location and confronted the group about following juvenile and some of the comments that were made. During this confrontation, a physical altercation took place between juvenile and Kyle Hicks.  Eventually everyone went their separate ways and contacted the police department.   After speaking with the Union County Prosecutors Office, juvenile and Kyle Hicks will both be cited for Disorderly Conduct.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle

West First Ave.

On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle/person.  The complainant, who wished to remain anonymous, stated that a silver car pulled into the driveway and turned their headlights off.  Upon my arrival, Officer observed a silver Nissan occupied by a male & female.  Female was dropping male off at his residence, which was across the street, and didn't want to block his parents' parking spot.  After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.

Suspicious Person

West Bigelow Ave.

On the stated date and time, complainant flagged Officer down to tell Officer about suspicious person.  Complainant said that a black male, riding a bicycle, came into the bar on Saturday night.  Complainant didn’t think much of it but stated that the male was staring him down, which made complainant feel uneasy and went to go to his vehicle.  While complainant was walking out of the bar,  complainant observed the male subject talking on the phone.  The male said he is leaving now.  Complainant thought that this was directed towards him.  Complainant stated that he did not recognize the male and didn’t want anything done, just wanted the police department to be aware of the incident.  He advised me that he does have video surveillance of the subject and will get it to the police department tomorrow.

Vandalism

On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a possible vandalism complaint. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the caller who stated that when she returned to the listed location after work at there was no scratch on the rear driver’s side door of her black Chevy Impala.  Complainant stated that she had left her residence at approximately 2100 Hrs. Upon arriving at her destination, she observed that there was now a small scratch on the rear passenger door. Complainant was unsure if the vehicle had been vandalized or if it had been struck by an object while driving. Complainant requested Officer document the damage to her vehicle. Complainant thanked Officer for his time, and Officer returned to patrol.

Willowbend Cir.

On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the area of Willowbend Circle and Willowbrook Court in reference to a 911 unknown. Dispatched advised they were unable to call it back. Upon my arrival, Officer did not observe anything out of the ordinary.  Officer then returned to patrol.
