08/23/20	12:33 PM	Criminal Damaging	North Chillicothe St.	On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a criminal damaging complaint.  The caller advised that sometime overnight an unknown person drew a penis on the window on the south side of his garage.  Caller wasn't sure who had drawn it, but noted that whoever did, had to access his neighbors fenced in yard to do so and that his neighbor has two large dogs.  Officer met with the neighbor who denied any knowledge of the drawing.  A short time later neighbor's wife agreed to let caller into the yard to clean the window. Officer stood by while caller did this without issue.  Officer than returned to patrol		Approved

08/23/20	8:32 AM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	Willow Creek Ct.	On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a loud television.  Upon arrival, Officer could faintly hear a television coming from the rear of the residence.  After further investigation Officer learned that subject was watching television in a closed-in back porch type area and had all of the windows open.  Officer asked subject to turn the television down and he agreed to. Officer then returned to patrol.		Approved
08/23/20	9:22 AM	DOC	South Jefferson Ave.	On the listed date and time, Officer was contacted via phone by complainant and his girlfriend who advised that they were at the Der Dutchman on Saturday 08/22/2020 to pick up his son from his ex-girlfriend.  The complainant advised that during the pickup, ex-girlfriend got upset and began yelling and ultimately threw a plastic cup containing an unknown substance at complainant's girlfriend, who was seated in his vehicle.  The cup with unknown liquid landed in the car, with the liquid splashing onto girlfriend's face and clothing and also soaking the interior of complainant's vehicle.  Complaninant started that the unknown substance smelled like urine.  A case is pending. 08/23/20	9:21 PM	Juvenile	West Main St.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to two juveniles out near the listed location that appeared suspicious. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate anyone. Also, the doors to the business were all secured. Officer then returned to patrol.	Daily Needs Assistance	Approved
08/23/20	11:54 PM	Domestic Dispute	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the area of South Chillicothe Street and Jackson Street in reference to a male subject complaining of chest pains. Dispatch advised that subject stated he was in a domestic dispute with his girlfriend and was now having chest pains. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with subject who stated that he had been in a verbal dispute with his girlfriend at her residence. Subject stated that he left on foot and began having chest pains. Girlfriend confirmed that the dispute was strictly verbal and stated that she was upset with subject and asked him to leave. Subject was then voluntarily transported to hospital by medic to be evaluated. After determining everything checked okay, Officer returned to patrol.		Pending
08/23/20	11:16 AM	Theft - Felony	South Chillicothe St.	On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed address in reference to a theft.  The caller advised that his brother had stolen a license from their cousin.  Upon arrival, Officer met with both subject's.   Brother confirmed that he had "borrowed" the license plate his cousin without his permission.  Officer confirmed that this plate belonged to cousin and seized it.  Officer attempted to contact cousin via phone but was not able to.  A case is pending contact with cousin. 08/24/20	4:59 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Fanshell Dr.	On the listed date and time, Officer responded to listed location in reference to a residential lockout. Upon arrival, Officer attempted to assist with unlocking the residence without success. Officer later requested Pleasant Valley Fire Department respond to assist. They requested Officer stay on scene while they accessed the house. Once they were able to get the residence unlocked, Officer then returned to patrol.		Approved
08/24/20	6:02 PM	Public Indecency	East Bigelow Ave.	On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a Public Indecency report. The caller advised dispatch that a male in a white truck with a tank in the back and a dog sticker on the driver's door had exposed himself to two young girls in the parking belonging to the Church on Church Street. Upon my arrival, Officer met with the caller and checked with several neighbors, but they did not see anything and did not have cameras.  Officer will follow up with other adjacent neighbors later. 08/24/20	4:21 PM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	Church St.	On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to a noise complaint in the area of Church Street. Upon arrival, Officer patrolled the area and was unable to locate any noise violations. Due to not knowing who the caller was, Officer returned to patrol.  1925 hours, Officer, met with the caller at her residence.  Caller advised she wanted to report a noise complaint anonymously about her neighbors music earlier. Officer advised her that Officer had checked the area earlier and did not locate any loud music in the area.		Pending
08/24/20	2:51 PM	Neighbor Dispute	North Chillicothe St.	On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a property line dispute between neighbors. The caller advised that his neighbor claimed his fence is on his property and wants it removed. Upon arrival, Officer met with the son of the caller who advised that his neighbor is requesting they unscrew their fence from his garage and get the fence off his property.  Officer advised that their fence is not a police matter. Officer advised him to contact Plain City Zoning Office if there is a complaint about a fence. Officer then spoke with neighbor and advised him to contact the Plain City Zoning Office to discuss the fence issue. Officer then returned to patrol.		Pending
08/24/20	12:44 AM	Domestic Dispute	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 unknown. Dispatch advised that the call had mapped at the listed location but they were unable to make contact with anyone upon call back. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with female subject who stated that there were no issues at the residence and that she did not recognize the phone number used to call 911. Upon further investigation, Officer learned that the phone belonged to female subject's younger sister.  Sister advised that she had been on the phone with her boyfriend and must have accidently activated the phones emergency call. While speaking with the parties, the parents became involved in a verbal dispute. After speaking to both parties further they agreed to remain calm and separate for the remainder of the night. Officer then returned to patrol.		Approved
08/24/20	7:27 PM	Driving Complaint	Shepper Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officer  was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a driving complaint.  Officer made contact with complainant who advised he called due to a large pickup truck that left the area at a high rate of speed. A short time later, Officer made contact with suspect and was advised of the complaint. Suspect stated he was not speeding and that his truck was loud causing part of the confusion. Suspect was advised that if he was speeding to slow down in the future. Officer then returned to patrol.		Approved
08/25/20	8:12 PM	Suspicious Person	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the area of North Avenue in reference to a suspicious person. The caller advised he observed a shirtless male, stumbling and carrying a chair down East Second Ave. Upon arrival, Officer located Adam Kaetzel asleep on a chair, in the very back of the listed location. Adam woke up and advised Officer that he was at another location, but left because his friends were arguing.  When the police arrived at the other location, he decided to sit at the location and wait for the police to leave. He also advised he had a warrant (confirmed) out of the Ohio Department of Rehab Correction and Adult Parole Authority. I then placed Adam under arrest and conducted a search incident to arrest. Upon searching Adam, I located a small red bag and tin foil in his front left pocket. Inside of the red bag contained a small plastic bag with 3 small white pills, a small plastic clear bag with hearts containing a white substance, and a black substance appearing to be heroin. The homeowner of the listed location, Kevin Cunningham, declined to pursue with any charges. Adam was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail by UCSO Payton. I then returned to patrol. 08/25/20	3:15 AM	911 Unknown	Gay St.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 unknown.  Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller who stated that she had accidentally activated the emergency setting on her phone and that there was no emergency. After determining everything checked okay, Officer returned to patrol.		Approved
08/25/20	1:00 PM	Fire Support	Warbler Ln.	On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the area of Warbler Lane in reference to a dumpster fire.  Upon arrival, Officer observed two dumpsters (side by side) were ablaze.  The dumpsters were in the area of the street lawn in front of the listed location. Officer assisted workers with moving a nearby porta john and stood by for Engine.  Once on scene, they extinguished the flames.  Officer stood by to assist with traffic.  Officer then returned to patrol. 08/25/20	3:46 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	Fairfield Dr.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person/vehicle. The caller advised she observed a brown older model van park near the dumpsters. At first, the vehicle was occupied with one Hispanic male, but later caller observed 3 Hispanic males. Caller advised the vehicle was parked there for over an hour, then pulled out and stopped in the middle of Failrfield Drive for ten minutes. Eventually, the vehicle left and turned southbound on South Chillicothe Street. Officer then searched the area and did not locate any vehicles matching that description. 08/25/20	7:21 PM	Juvenile	East Main St.	On the stated date and time, Officer was on patrol when Officer observed juvenile riding his bike in front of the listed location. Officer observed juvenile smoking a cigarette and a blue Juul.  Juvenile attempt to hide them from Officer. Officer made contact with juvenile who admitted to stealing the cigarette from his grandmother Officer then followed juvenile to grandmother's residence.  Officer spoke with mother and grandmother about the incident.  They advised they would speak with juvenile about this and seek additional counseling. 08/25/20	7:38 PM	Domestic Violence - Misdemeanor	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officer was standing in the front yard of the listed location when Officer heard loud yelling and screaming coming from the listed location. After investigation, Officer learned Tabitha Smith was in an argument with her live-in boyfriend while remodeling a trailer.  During the argument, Tabitha then struck boyfriend twice in the face with an open hand. This was also observed by a roommate. Tabitha Smith was subsequently arrest for Domestic Violence and transported to Tri-County.		Pending
08/26/20	5:37 PM	Drunk Driver	West Main St.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to SR 161 E, in reference to a driving complaint that was westbound from Cemetery Pike.  The caller advised that a white Acura SUV was "all over the roadway”  While responding to the area, Officer observed the vehicle at Mike's Pit Stop.  While speaking with the driver, Kenton Eggleston, he appeared to be under the influence of a narcotic.  While trying to conduct an OVI investigation, he was concealing an object in his right hand.  He was asked several times about the item and refused to show it to Officer.  Kenton would not comply with instructions and pulled away when I was trying to detain him.  Kenton was subsequently charged OVI, Resisting Arrest (M1 due to a few cuts/scrapes on my right elbow and left knee) and Obstructing Official Business.  He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. 08/27/20	11:55 AM	Civil Dispute/Standby	West South St.	On the listed date and time was met on station by complainant who advised that he had just left Madison County Court where he had been awarded custody of his daughter.  Complainant requested a civil standby while he went to the residence to pick daughter up.  Officer accompanied complainant to this location, but no one was home.  A short time later, complainant spoke with mother and they had mutually agreed that mother would bring daughter back to this location at 1600 so that complainant could get her.  Officer advised complainant to contact the Police Department at this time to set up another Civil Standby if it were needed. 08/27/20	6:20 PM	Trespasser	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to an unwanted guest. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the reporting party who advised Officer that prior to arrival suspect was at her residence and she no longer wanted him there today. Reporting party advised that suspect left prior to Officer's arrival.  Officer advised reporting party to call back if suspect returned today.  Officer attempted to make contact with suspect at his residence but was unsuccessful. 08/28/20	9:41 AM	911 Unknown	West Ave.	On this date and time, Officer responded to the listed address on a 911 hangup.  MCSO was unable to reach anyone on callback.  Upon arrival, Officer met with caller who advised that everything was fine and that her husband may have inadvertently called, but she did not and there were no problems.  Dispatch tried calling the number and only received voicemail. After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.		Approved
08/28/20	6:06 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	West Bigelow Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an animal complaint. The caller advised there were two canines in the vehicle and was concerned for their safety. Upon arrival, Officer located a red 2010 Chevrolet SUV with the windows down. Officer observed two canines, who appeared to be okay, and also a bowl of water. Officer then made contact with the owner of the vehicle and advised him of the complaint. Vehicle owner stated he would not leave them in the heat anymore.	Plain City Animal Hospital	Approved
08/28/20	9:16 PM	Threatened Suicide	Maple Ct.	On the stated date and time Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a possible suicide threat. An employee with a suicide hotline stated that a female had made several threats of harming herself via knife or medication. Upon checking call history, Officer learned the identify of the caller.  Upon arrival, Officer made contact with caller and her mother.  Upon speaking to caller further caller agreed to be voluntarily transported to hospital by mother.  Once both parties were on their way to the Hospital, Officer returned to patrol.  Refer to CIT for further. 08/29/20	8:33 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	West Bigelow Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a possible argument/fight. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with suspect who was intoxicated and upset because the bar stopped serving him. Suspect was given a ride home by a valid/sober driver. Officer spoke with several patrons who advised there was no fights/arguments. After deeming everything fine, Officers returned to patrol.	Lee's Sports & Spirits	Approved
08/29/20	10:55 PM	Marijuana	Plain City-Georgesville Rd.	On the stated date and time, Officer was on patrol when Officer conducted a routine registration check on a red Ford pickup and learned the registration returned to a 2004 Acura sedan. Officer then initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle.  Driver was advised of the violation and stated he recently had purchased this vehicle approximately two months prior. Upon further investigation, it was learned driver had marijuana in his right jeans pocket.  A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted which resulted in marijuana paraphernalia located in the center console. The items were confiscated. Driver was given a warning for Failure to Transfer, before Officers returned to patrol.		Returned
08/30/20	1:48 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a grey 2005 Toyota Matrix at the listed location parked near the gazebo.  Officer checked the vehicle and made contact with driver.  Driver advised she had permission to be on the premises from on-site camp manager. 08/30/20	10:49 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Mechanic St.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a nuisance burn. Upon arrival observed logs being burned in a fire pit at the listed location. Officer then made contact with complainant who stated she has allergies and did not want smoke blowing into her windows. Officer then made contact with suspect at the listed location who advised he would put the fire out and would move the fire pit to a different location. Officer then returned to patrol.		Returned
08/30/20	12:37 PM	Non-Injury Crash/Private	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a private property crash. Upon arrival, Officer learned driver was driving a red 2003 GMC truck pulling a Lardeo Camper.  As driver was pulling the camper, the back right side struck the front left end of a red 2018 Honda which was parked near the west side of the Youth Building. This caused minor damage to the camper, and disabling damage to the Honda.  Both parties exchanged information and Officer returned to patrol.	Plain City Area Baseball Association	Pending
08/30/20	2:19 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	Harrington Dr.	On the listed date and time, Officer responded to the listed location for a suspicious vehicle complaint. The caller advised that a friend advised a blue Honda Odyssey with an unknown registration had been parked on his driveway overnight.  Officer checked the residence and then made contact with owner of the Honda who confirmed that she had parked in the complainant's driveway due to family function at her residence. Officer relayed this information to complainant who advised he forgot that they have the new Odyssey. Complainant advised that it was fine that she had parked there. Upon determining everything to check okay, Officer returned to patrol.		Pending
08/30/20	1:19 AM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with both suspects.  Female suspect stated that she was in a verbal dispute with male suspect due to his drinking and was in the process of gathering her property so that she could leave the residence. Officer stood by while female gathered several items. Once female had left the area, Officer returned to patrol.		Pending
08/31/20	6:11 PM	Suspicious Person	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time. Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a male waving his arms and yelling in the parking lot of the listed location. The male then entered the building, still yelling and with frantic body movements. Officer then entered the building and learned the male was inside of the bathroom. Officer made contact with the male subject. After speaking with subject, Officers learned he has Autism and was upset about relationship issues.  After determining everything to be fine, Officer then returned to patrol. Dispatch advised on call back they spoke with caller who advised it was accidental. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller who confirmed that everyone was okay and she accidentally hit the emergency button on her phone. Upon confirming everything was okay, Officer then returned to patrol.		Approved
