08/17/20	10:18 PM	Domestic Violence - Misdemeanor	East First Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with Samuel Collins, while another Officer spoke with Samuel’s live-in girlfriend.  While speaking with Samuel he admitted to slapping victim with an open palm to her face. During the arrest several articles of drug paraphernalia were located on Samuel's person. Officer then transported Samuel to Tri-County Regional Jail where he was released into their custody without issue. Samuel was charged with Domestic Violence and Resisting Arrest. 08/17/20	5:50 PM	Message Delivery	North Ave.	On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location on a message delivery. Dispatch advised Dublin Police Officer wanted Officer to make contact with subject in reference to her disabled vehicle. Officer made contact with subject's ex-stepfather who advised Officer that he would contact his ex-wife to advise subject about the message.  Officer thank him and returned to patrol.		Approved
08/18/20	3:45 AM	Juvenile	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer observed a young male walking northbound on North Chillicothe Street.  Officer made contact with the male subject who stated that he was in a verbal dispute with his family and left the residence because they grounded him. Officer transported subject back to his residence where Officer met with subject's father. Officer warned subject for curfew and the possible consequences if his actions continued. Subject apologized and stated that it would not happen again. Officer then returned to patrol.		Approved
08/18/20	12:36 PM	Parking Complaint	West Main St.	On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a parking complaint. The caller advised that a trailer was parked in the alley behind this residence and was blocking the road.  Officer made contact with the foreman for a roofing crew that was removing/replacing the roof at this location.  Foreman advised that he would unload the materials and have the trailer moved as soon as possible.  Officer then made contact with the caller at his residence and advised him of the findings. 08/18/20	3:49 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unconscious female.  Upon arrival, along with medic, Officer made contact with subject who was sitting in a white Ford van, awake and alert.  Subject stated she fell asleep while waiting for a friend. Officer did not observe anything out of the ordinary.  Once Officer determined everything to be fine, Officer then returned to patrol.		Approved
08/18/20	4:18 PM	Recovered/Found Property	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a found credit card. Upon arrival, Officer met with subject who advised she found a green Instacart card on the sidewalk in front of the listed location.  Officer made contact with Instacart and learned that the card had already been deactivated.  The card was destroyed. 08/18/20	4:51 PM	Non-Injury Hitskip	West Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the area of West Avenue and Willow Creek Dr. in reference to a hit-skip accident. Upon arrival, Officer learned complainant was traveling westbound in a white 2016 Honda SUV when an unknown white tractor trailer, traveling eastbound on West Avenue, struck a power line that was hanging across West Avenue. The truck pulled the power lines down, along with the utility pole and lines that were connected.  08/21/2020 1820 Hours - Officer learned that the driver was Nathaniel Jakes.  Officer advised Nathaniel to come to the police department for a citation.  08/27/2020 1930 Hours-Nathaniel was issued a citation for Hit-Skip and Overweight-Use of Local Streets. 08/18/20	10:26 PM	Juvenile	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a juvenile complaint. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller and his daughter.  Caller stated that a small red vehicle filled with approximately four juveniles was driving erratically on South Chillicothe Street for approximately one hour. Caller stated that he just wanted Officers to provide extra patrol to ensure the issue did not continue. Officer advised caller that Officer would check the area and for caller to call if the vehicle returned. Officer then returned to patrol.		Pending
08/19/20	3:04 PM	Fire Support	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to medical emergency.  Subject told medic she was fine and ordered them out of the residence.  Officer spoke with subject and was able to get subject to go with medics voluntarily. 08/19/20	4:30 PM	Non-Injury Hitskip	Fairfield Dr.	On the stated date and time, Officer met with complainant at the police department in reference to a hit-skip accident.  Complainant advised when she went to leave the residence she noticed her passenger side door had been damaged by another vehicle.  Complainant believed that the damage may have been caused by a known person's vehicle.  Officer went to the apartment complex and located suspect's vehicle.  It did not have any noticeable damage that would be consistent with the damage caused to complainant's vehicle.  Officer also spoke with suspect who advised that she hadn't left the house all day.  Officer later advised complainant of findings and returned to patrol. 08/20/20	3:46 PM	Suspicious Vehicle	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer received a call from PC Parks Director of a vehicle that was parked under the old cattle barn at Pastime Park.  Officer ran the registration and learned that the owner was a camper.  Officer located the camper and notified him of the complainant.  PC Parks Director advised that she was trying to get the vehicle moved due to a wasp’s nest that was in the area.  Camper moved his vehicle without incident and Officer returned to patrol. 08/20/20	7:39 PM	Drunk Driver	South Jefferson Ave.	On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the area of McDonald's for a Officer located the vehicle on the lot of Shell.  Upon further investigation, David Hall was cited for Open Container in a Motor Vehicle (4301.62B4). Michael K. McKillips, the driver was later issued a citation for OVI (4511.191a1), OVI Concentration, (4511.19A1d).  Both subjects were later released pending court. 08/20/20	12:50 PM	Road Hazard	US Rt. 42 S	On this date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to numerous bales of straw in the roadway at Village Boulevard.  Upon arrival, Officer located the straw that been moved to the edge of the roadway, but that was still a hazard.  Officer moved the obstructing bales when a passing motorists offered to remove the bales of straw.  Due to not knowing who the straw belonged to, Officer told passer by he could remove them.  Passer by advised that he would store them on his property and if someone called in looking for them they could retrieve them from his property. 08/20/20	12:43 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	Harrington Dr.	On the listed date and time, Officer was on patrol when Officer observed that the interior light was on in a 2011 Honda Accord with no one around.  Officer made contact with the vehicle owner.  Officer advised subject about the light. Subject thanked Officer and then turned the light off. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.		Approved
08/20/20	12:39 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	Village Blvd.	On the listed date and time, Officer was on patrol when Officer observed that the parking lights on a 2015 Ford Escape were on and no one was around. I made contact with the vehicle owner at advised her about the lights. Subject thanked Officer and then turned the lights off. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer  returned to patrol. 08/20/20	9:27 AM	Recovered/Found Property	Allgyer Dr.	On this date and time, subject turned in a cell phone he found in the roadway located on Allgyer at West Avenue.  Officer was able to determine the owner of the phone and made contact with her.  Owner of the phone arrived to the police department a short time later and retrieved her phone. 08/20/20	9:24 PM	Suspicious Person	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officer met with complainant and her daughter at their residence.  Complainant advised Officer that they were at the car show today and when an unknown white male approached her daughter.  Suspect asked several questions about the car and ultimately gave daughter a business card.  Subject then began to ask daughter if she was at the show by herself and if her parents were around.  Suspect noticed daughter's parent, put his mask on and walked towards the Der Dutchman.  Daughter advised that they lost sight of suspect in the crowd and did not have any other information. 08/21/2020 1610 Hours-Officer made contact with suspect (name on the business card) via public service.  Suspect advised that he was giving out business cards to people who had nice cars because one of his relatives is into classics.  Suspect did not mean to frighten daughter and was solely interested in the vehicle.  Suspect stated that he left the scene and went to the restaurant after his wife called him to let him know their table was ready.  Officer advised suspect to use caution in the future when speaking with juveniles. 08/21/20	10:30 AM	Theft - Misdemeanor	Village Blvd.	On this date and time, complainant reported that a five gallon bucket full of brass was stolen from his residence between 08/20/2020 at 4:30PM and 08/21/2020 at 8:30AM.  Officer advised complainant Officer would contact him if any suspects could be developed.  Case pending. 08/21/20	12:59 PM	Non-Injury Crash	West Main St.	On this date and time, Officer responded to a non-injury crash on West Main Street at Mike's Pit Stop.  Upon arrival, Officer met with Austin S. Agriesti who was driving a white Honda.  As Austin began to pull out, he noticed a dark blue Honda Civic and tried to stop, but was unable to and struck the rear passenger side.  This caused damage to both vehicles.  Austin was issued a citation for Failure to Yield.  Both vehicles were driven from the scene and Officer then returned to patrol. 08/21/20	7:10 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to the theft of license plates.  Upon arrival, Officer spoke with complainant who advised that sometime today the rear license plate was taken off of his silver Ford Pick-Up.  Complainant advised that he believed his brother stole the license plate. Brother advised that his ex-girlfriend had recovered the plate at her residence. Brother has vacated the area and it is unknown where he is staying at this time.		Approved
08/21/20	11:07 PM	Parking Complaint	Warbler Ln.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to two vehicles blocking the roadway making it impossible to pass.  Upon arrival, Officer observed a dark grey 2016 Dodge Ram that was blocking the roadway being moved.   The other vehicle, a black 2016 Dodge Ram had been moved by the owner.  Both truck owners were advised they were blocking the roadway due to a neighborhood party.  Officer gave both truck owners a warning and advised this could have resulted in a citation, before Officer returned to patrol. 08/22/20	4:17 PM	CIT Incident	Village Blvd.	On the stated date and time, Officer was on patrol when Officer was flagged down by complainant.  Complainant advised his wife has mental issues and hadn’t slept in over 48 hours. Complainant advised he believed that his wife was walking to the Police Department because she wanted to get out of the house. Officer then met with wife at the Police Department.  Wife advised she would voluntarily go with the medics to be evaluated/treated. Medic arrived shortly after and transported wife with no issues. 08/22/20	3:08 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	West Second Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to The Plain City Aquatic Center in reference to a theft from a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with victim who advised white Volkswagen SUV was broken into between 1300 hours to 1500 Hours.  Officer canvassed the area and no patrons/employees observed or heard anything out of the ordinary.  Officer patrolled the park in an attempt to locate any of the property or discarded property but was unsuccessful.  UCSO dropped of found bag of property that contained purse belonging to the victims. Purses were found in the trash can of Blues Creek Meats.	Plain City Aquatic Center	Approved
08/22/20	3:08 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	West Second Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to The Plain City Aquatic Center in reference to a theft from a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with victim who advised white Volkswagen SUV was broken into between 1300 hours to 1500 hours.  Officer canvassed the area and no patrons/employees observed or heard anything out of the ordinary.  Officer patrolled the park in an attempt to locate any of the property or discarded property but was unsuccessful.  UCSO dropped of found bag of property that contained purse belonging to the victims. 08/22/20	9:55 AM	Theft - Misdemeanor	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to the theft of a 30ft stepladder. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with complainant who advised that sometime within the last week someone had stolen his stepladder that was kept unsecured at the rear of the apartment complex.  While speaking with complainant, property manager found the stepladder in an adjoining property behind a tree.  Officer urged complainant to take steps to secure the ladder to a permanent fixture when not in use.  Officer then returned to patrol.
