11/25/2019 11:46 PM Assist Other Agency US Rt. 42 S  On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the area of US 42 and Lucas Road at the request of the Madison County Sheriff's Office, in reference to a possible injury crash. Upon arrival, Officer checked the area but was unable to locate the vehicle or any signs of a crash. After checking the area further and locating nothing out of the ordinary, Officer returned to patrol.   Approved
11/25/2019 12:27 PM Warrant - Felony West Main St. On this date and time, Officer was advised of a vehicle with a smashed the windshield had turned into the Marathon gas station on West Main Street. Officer located the vehicle, which did have the windshield completely smashed and also the driver's side rear window broken out. As Officer pulled into the lot, the passenger exited the vehicle and walked into the gas station. Officer made contact with a male subject who was pumping gas into the car.  After further investigation, it was discovered subject had several warrants.  The passenger exited the store after an extended period of time and got into another vehicle. Officers spoke to this subject who also had warrants.  Both subjects were placed into custody and both were transported to the Union County Sheriff's Office due to UCSO units being unavailable. The vehicle was moved to a parking space and Officer contacted the registered owner to have the vehicle moved. Vehicle owner advised she would have it towed before the end of the day.  See case for additional details. Marathon/GB Power LLC Approved
11/26/2019 10:52 PM Parking Complaint West South St. On the stated date and time, Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a parking complaint. The caller stated that a truck and trailer were parked on West South Street partially in the roadway. Upon arrival, Officer observed the black Dodge truck and trailer parked partially in the roadway. Officer made contact with the vehicle's owner who apologized and stated that he would move the vehicle to his workplace. Officer then returned to patrol.   Returned
11/26/2019 10:37 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified Gay St. On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a burglary in progress.  Upon arrival, Officer searched the area but did not find anyone or anything unusual. Officer then made contact with the caller who advised she was sitting in her living room when someone attempted to open her front door multiple times. Officer then made contact with a subject who advised he is visiting a friend and accidentally tired to go into caller's apartment by mistake. After determining everything to be fine, Officers then returned to patrol.   Pending
11/26/2019 5:20 AM Driving Complaint South Jefferson Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the area of South Jefferson Ave. and West Ave in reference to a possible drunk driver. The caller advised there was a Ford pickup all over the roadway and then went into the McDonalds drive-thru. Upon arrival, Officer located the suspect vehicle and made contact with the driver.  Subject was advised of the complaint. Subject did not show any signs of impairment. Officer then returned to patrol.   Approved
11/27/2019 12:25 PM Animal Complaint - Other Gay St. On this date and time, Officer received a call of loose dogs in the area of Gay Street between West Avenue and West South Street. The caller advised who the dogs belong to.  Upon arrival to the area, Officer could not locate the dogs. Officer called canine's owner who checked with his kids.  Kids advised  that the dogs were in the house and hadn't been outside all morning. Officer explained to subject that due to the history with the dogs, subject would be charged if the complainant was willing to provide a written statement. Officer then contacted the complainant back and she advised that she would discuss this with her boyfriend and decide if they wished to provide a statement. A case and charges are possibly pending.   Pending
11/27/2019 10:00 AM Miscellaneous - Unclassified North Ave. On this date and time, Officer met with complainant, at her residence,  in reference to her husband not coming home for the past several days. Complainant said that according to husband's manager he went to work on Monday, but did not go to work yesterday. Officer explained to complainant that husband is an adult and can come and go as he pleases. Officer also reminded complainant that her husband has done this very same thing before. Officer told complaint that with adults the minimum timeframe to report them missing,  unless there are extenuating circumstances or compelling evidence of criminal activity or safety concerns, is about 7 days from last contact. Officer told complainant if she felt very strongly that something was wrong to contact PCPD  and Officer would investigate it further .  Complainant advised she understood and Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
11/28/2019 3:24 AM Assist Other Agency SR 161 E  On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location at the request of the MCSO in reference to an alarm drop. After assistance was no longer needed, Officer then returned to patrol. Holmes Lumber Approved
