11/29/2019 9:54 PM Suspicious Circumstances East First Ave. Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a possible domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with subject and his children.  Subject advised his children were outside playing and were unsure how it appeared there was a domestic dispute. After determining everything to be okay, Officers returned to patrol.   Approved
11/29/2019 8:38 PM Warrant - Felony North Ave. On the stated date and time, Officers made contact with Chelsie Still.  Chelsie had a warrant for her arrest, Officers made contact with her at this location. Chelsie was placed into custody without incident. She had three confirmed warrants (Probation Violation x 2 out of the Marysville Municipal Court) and a Non-Support out of the Union County Common Pleas Court/Juvenile Division.  Officer transported her to the Tri-County Regional Jail due to the unavailability of the Union County Sheriff's Office. She was released into the jail's custody and Officer returned to patrol. See attached warrants for further information.   Approved
11/29/2019 5:43 PM Suspicious Circumstances Cottonwood Ct. On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to suspicious circumstances. The caller advised Officer that someone was shining a laser pointer in his windows.  Caller advised he closed the blinds and it stopped. Officer patrolled the area and did not locate anything or anyone out of the ordinary. Officer then returned to patrol.   Approved

11/30/2019 4:05 PM Warrant - Misdemeanor South Chillicothe St. Officer was conducting stationary patrol in the parking lot of South Chillicothe St.  Officer conducted a routine registration check on the vehicle and found it returned to a suspended driver.  Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle driver, Marsha Backora. After checking Marsha's information it was found her license had 21 open suspensions. Marsha also had an active warrant out of the Union County Sheriff's Office for Failure to Appear on a Probation Violation. Officer then transported Marsha to the Tri-County Regional Jail where she was booked in on her warrant from UCSO. She was issued a traffic citation for No Valid OL, FRA Suspension, License Forfeiture Suspension, and Failure to Reinstate.   Pending
11/30/2019 2:54 PM Animal Complaint - Other Friend St. On the stated date and time, Officer observed a male black Labrador in the parking lot of the police department. It was very friendly and I was able to locate a phone number for the owner on its collar. I made contact with canine's owner and advised her that Officer had her dog. Officer secured the Labrador in the kennel. A few minutes later, another dog was dropped off at the police department.  Officer learned that the two dogs resided together. They were both secured in the kennel. Canine owner arrived a short time later and retrieved them. Canine owner was advised of the possible consequences if this were to continue. Officer then returned to patrol. Plain City Police Department Approved
12/1/2019 7:33 PM Non-Injury Crash Perry Pike  On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the area of Perry Pike and Lafayette Plain City Road in reference to a vehicle crash. Upon arrival, Officer met with Breanna Dawson.  Breanna misjudged the distance of the stop sign at Perry Pike, hit her brakes too late and slid into a ditch on the west side of the road on Lafayette Plain City Rd. Breanna was issued a citation for Stop Sign and advised of her court date. Officer then returned to patrol.   Returned
12/1/2019 6:54 PM Assist Other Agency SR 161 W  On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the area of SR 161 near the east corporation limits in reference to a disabled vehicle in the roadway. Upon arrival, Officer observed a silver 1993 Ford pickup that was missing its front passenger side tire.  Officer made contact with the driver and vehicle owner. OSP and Madison County Sheriff's Office declined to respond. Officer stood by on scene conducting traffic detail until a AAA tow truck arrived and removed the vehicle from the roadway. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
12/1/2019 6:26 PM 911 Follow-up Grant Ave. On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 followup. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with caller that advised he must have been having phone issues and that there wasn't any type of emergency. Once Officers  determined everything to be okay, Officers returned to patrol.   Approved
12/1/2019 1:18 AM Domestic Dispute Converse Ave. On the stated date and time, Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a possible domestic dispute. The caller stated that she was in a dispute with her boyfriend.   Upon arrival, Officers made contact with female subject who appeared extremely intoxicated and repeatedly fell asleep on the couch while Officer spoke with her. She stated that she was in a verbal dispute with her boyfriend and that she did not need any assistance. Officers then made contact with male subject in the listed location's back yard. Male subject stated that the argument was strictly verbal and that the two were calm now. After determining everything checked okay Officers returned to patrol.   Pending
12/1/2019 12:28 AM Drug Paraphernalia Gay St. On the stated date and time, Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a 2006 silver Volkswagen Jetta which returned as expired since 11-30-2019.  Officer then initiated a traffic stop with the above vehicle and made contact with the vehicle operator.  Officer also made contact with a passenger along with the vehicle owner who was also a  passenger.  Officer advised vehicle operator of the violation who stated he did not know the vehicle registration was expired. The vehicle owner apologized and advised he was going to get new tags this week. When advising them of the warning, Officer detected an odor of raw marijuana emitting from the vehicle, which was confirmed by occupants.  Passenger was given warnings for paraphernalia and marijuana. Vehicle operator was given a warning for the expired registration. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
