| 11/13/2019 | 4:59 PM | Injury Crash | East Main St. | Officer was dispatched to the area of East Main Street and Church Street in reference to a non-injury accident. Upon arrival, Officer met with Ryan Forrester (Unit 1) and other vehicle driver (Unit 2). Officer spoke with both parties and learned that a dog ran into the westbound lane of East Main Street. Driver of Unit 2 stopped to avoid striking the dog. Ryan was unable to react in time and struck Unit 2 in the rear. This caused disabling damage for both vehicles. The dog owner, Shelli Rockwell arrived on the scene and admitted that it ran out of the house. Shelli will be issued a summons for Confining, restraining, debarking dogs (ORC 955.22C1) at a later date. Ryan will also be issued a citation for ACDA (PC ORD 333.03A) on 11/14/2019. Complainant advised there is a protection order for daughter against father, but has not yet been served to father.
