Officers were dispatched to the area of West Ave and Maple Ct. reference a suspicious vehicle. Dispatch advised that a grey Ford truck, older model, was driving in the area and followed a child home.  Officers then checked the area and were unable to locate the vehicle. Officers then returned to patrol.

Officer was requested to check the well being of a subject at the listed address. Officer made contact with the subject, who advised that he was fine and that he had been busy recently. He advised that he would contact the caller via phone. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the area of East Main Street and North Ave in reference to a noise complaint.  Officer made contact with the vehicles driver who stated that he had stopped to go to his residence for a short time and would move the vehicle now. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a message delivery. A concerned neighbor called in and wanted to make sure the resident at the listed location was aware of the high water surrounding her home. Officer then arrived on scene and spoke with the homeowner. She stated she was aware. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference high water on the roadway. Officer then checked the area and located the high water. Since the roadway was still passable, Officer returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the area of S. Chillicothe St and Fairfield Dr. reference a loose canine. The caller advised that a brown lab was running in the street. Officer checked the area and was unable to locate the canine. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the intersection of US 42 and Alcott Drive in reference to an injury accident. Officer assisted with traffic control while OSP handled the crash. Once the vehicles were moved off the roadway Officer returned to patrol.

Officer initiated a traffic stop on a silver Buick Sedan for a speeding violation. Officer made contact with the vehicle driver and her passenger, James Parfitt III. James was issued a criminal summons for Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia (ORC2925.141C). See case/media for further.

Union County Sheriff's Office was investigating a crash at 15907 SR161W where the driver left the scene. Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.

Traffic Stop
West Ave.
Officer was sitting stationary at West Avenue when he observed a vehicle traveling in excess of the posted 25 MPH.  Officer made contact with the driver, Elsa Pauta Perez.  She was subsequently issued a citation for Speed (PC ORD 333.03C) and No OL (ORC 4510.12A1). Her vehicle was towed to the Plain City Impound Lot.

Officer observed a red Chrysler PT Cruiser traveling northbound on South Jefferson Avenue near West Avenue. Officer identified the driver as Linda Ball a suspended driver. Linda was issued a traffic citation for driving under a Non Compliance Suspension (ORC4510.16A), No Valid OL (ORC4510.12A1) and License Forfeiture Suspension (ORC4510.111A). See case for further.

Officer was requested by Madison County Sheriff's Office to respond to the area on Converse-Huff Road and US Rte.42S for a possible injury crash. Upon the arrival of Madison County Deputy assistance was no longer needed and Officer returned to patrol.
