Officer received a call on station from complainant who advised that he has contacted the parent company of "The Bag" and advised them on 5 occasions to stop delivering "The Bag" to his residence. Officer spoke with the Circulation/ Delivery Manager for the area who advised that she would ensure that delivery stopped.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 Follow-up. Upon  arrival, Officer met with subject who advised that she accidentally called on her new cell phone and everything was fine.  After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a missing person. Upon arrival Officer met with complainant who advised her mother had been missing for approximately four hours and was last seen at a location in Union County.  Complainant was referred to the Union County Sheriff's Office.

Warrant - Misdemeanor
West Main St.
Officer was on patrol when he conducted a routine registration check on a Toyota SUV  and learned that the registered owner, Dennis Massie, had a warrant out of Madison Co. Sheriff's Office reference a Probation Violation.. He was subsequently placed into custody and transported to Tri-County Regional Jail.  After transport, Officer returned to patrol.

Disabled Vehicle
Perry Pk.
Officer was on patrol and observed a red Honda parked across both lanes of travel at Perry Pike. Officer made contact with the vehicles driver and observed that one of the tie rods were broken. Officer then requested a tow truck to remove the vehicle. Once vehicle was removed from the roadway, Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference property damage. Upon arrival Officer made contact with complainant who advised that she had found her fence on the southern portion of her property line to be damaged.  Investigation pending

Dead on Arrival
North Chillicothe St.
Officer(s)s were dispatched to the listed location on a possible dead on arrival. Upon arrival Officer spoke with all parties present.  The listed parties advised they went to visit, Daniel Reinhard and found him in his front room seated in a recliner without a pulse and cold to the touch.  Dr. Kaehr arrived on scene and advised Daniel passed from natural causes. Harassment/Menacing
US Rt. 42 S
Officer responded to the area of US 42 in references to a harassment complaint. The caller, stated that her passenger’s boyfriend had began to follow them in his truck as they left the area.  Once he continued to follow their vehicle they became nervous and called for assistance. Officer(s) advised subject that he was not to follow complainant any further and warned him of the possible consequences if his actions continued. Once all parties left the area Officers returned to patrol.

Officer met with subject at the listed location who requested a voucher from the Catholic Church.  Officer checked that subject did not have any entered active warrants. Subject was given the voucher application. Officer than returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon my arrival Officer made contact with subject who advised he was waiting for someone.  Subject was advised not to park at the listed location. Once they left the area and after determining everything to be fine, Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a possible drunk driver.  Officer  observed the vehicle parked at a gas pump and made contact with the driver.  After speaking with the driver Officer did not observe any signs of impairment. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer met complaint who came to the department to report a non injury hit/skip crash that occurred at the listed location.  Officer checked the area to attempt to locate the vehicle, including make contact at local businesses. Officer was unable to find a vehicle that matched the suspect vehicle and was unable to get any more information from the businesses.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle/person. Upon arrival Officers made contact with two subjects.  Officers learned that they were waiting for a relative to transfer money to their account to pay for the fuel. After determining everything to be fine, all units returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a parking complaint. Officer met with the owner who advised that he’ll make sure it didn’t happen again. He was warned reference a parking citation. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the area in front of the listed location on a parking complaint.  Upon arrival, Officer was met by owner of Plain City Service Center, who advised that the vehicle was a customer's car and that he was supposed to pick it up a couple days ago. He advised he would move the vehicle onto his lot and contact the owner again.

Non-Injury Crash

Officer responded to a non-injury crash on West Main Street in front of Mike's Pit Stop.  Kelly Phillips was issued a citation for Failure to Yield when Turning Left.  The other vehicle was towed from the scene.  See corresponding numbers for further information.

Officer was met on station by complainant. Complainant advised Officer that an estranged friend has been told to stay away from her and her residence and not to text or call her. Complainant requested we keep an eye on her residence and ensure subject(s) are not on the property.

Traffic Stop

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a tan Oldsmobile Bravada. The registration returned to, Scott Morris, a suspended driver.  Scott was issued a traffic citation for driving on a Non Compliance Suspension (ORC 4510.16A) No Valid OL (ORC 4510.12A1) and Failure to Reinstate (ORC 4510.21). The vehicle was towed to the Plain City Police Department impound lot.

Officer was dispatched to the intersection of West Main Street and South Jefferson Avenue in reference to the traffic light malfunctioning. The Street Department made contact with Jess Howard Electric, who arrived on the scene a few hours later and fixed the light. See photo for further information.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a well being check. Upon arrival Officer spoke with the resident who  advised she hadn’t spoken with subject in over six weeks.  Officer advised dispatch of his findings and returned to patrol.
