Officer received a parking complaint at the Plain City
Elementary School of a black Honda van parking in a handicap parking
spot without a proper endorsement. Vance Vowell was subsequently cited for
Handicap Parking Violation (ORD 4511.69F1). The placard was confiscated on
scene. Per the UC Deputy Registrar, the placard was destroyed on this
date by Officer.

|
Officer conducted a routine registration check on a Honda
minivan on US42 near West Ave. Justin Williams was subsequently cited for Non
Compliance Suspension (ORC 4510.16A), Expired Tags (Plain City ORD 335.10D)
and No Valid OL (ORC 4510.12A). The vehicle was towed to the PCPD Impound Lot
without incident. The license plates were also seized per BMV request. Mr.
Williams was released from the scene after being issued the citation.

Officer made contact with subject. After determining that there
was no sort of disturbance and subject was under no distress, Officer

Officer received a direct complaint to the listed location in
reference a vehicle being stuck in the mud. Officer made contact with subject
that advised that she parked on the hill, but when she was attempting to
leave, she made tire ruts due to the ground being wet. Subject was then
advised the Village may contact her seeking property damage fees. Officer
then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a
suspicious person and vehicle. The caller advised that a person claiming to
work for Spectrum was requesting to enter her residence in order to check
internet speeds. Officer then checked the area around 25 Coachman, but was
still unable to locate the vehicle.

contact her or come over to the residence again. Officer made contact with
subject, via public service, and advised her of complainant’s request.
Subject was also advised of the possible consequences if she made contact or

Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.

Officer was met on station by complainant who advised that he
had received a suspicious voice mail earlier today. A Google search revealed
that the number was tied to several very similar scams. Complainant was
advised of this and to ignore or block future calls. Complainant was also
advised to contact the Federal Trade Commission to report this type of call
in the future.

barking dog. Upon arrival, Officer observed a white Pyrenees chained in the
back yard barking. Officer advised subject that Plain City has an Ordinance
for barking dogs and she would need to ensure that this does not continue in
the future. Once the dog was taken inside for the night, Officer returned to
patrol.

Officer observed silver Infinity SUV parked at the intersection
of Fanshell Drive and Red Knot Court. Officer made contact with the occupant

drainage system due to the excess amount of rain recently. After
determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.

reference to a well being check. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with

there was a curfew and the possible consequences if subject continues to
violate it. Both subjects stated that they understood. Officer then
returned to patrol.

stolen credit card. Officer made contact with the caller who stated that her
credit card had been used without her permission. On 03-05-2018 Officer
advised caller that the incident would need reported to the Reynoldsburg
Police Department. Officer then made contact with the Reynoldsburg
Police Department and advised them of the incident.

Officer was notified that an unknown vehicle struck a road sign
on North Chillicothe Street near Pastime Park. Officer learned that the
vehicle involved was a gold Ford Crown Victoria. Officer made
contact with Jeana Power, who admitted to striking the sign around 1420 Hrs.
Jeana was subsequently issued a citation for Failure to Control (PC ORD
331.34A) and Stopping After Accident (ORC 4549.03) and released. See
corresponding numbers for further information.
