On the stated date and time, while on patrol, Officer was advised of a possible vandalism. Upon arrival, Officer observed that "BLM" had been painted on a no parking sign across from the listed location.  Officer documented the damage and notified the Village Street Department.  Officer checked the area for anymore vandalized property, but did not locate any.  Officer then returned to patrol.

On the stated date and time, Officer was notified of a possible threat that had been posted in the comment section of a community Facebook page. The post was in reference to several protesters in the area of the listed location. Suspect posted what the reporting party believed to be a threatening message. Upon further investigation, Officer learned that suspect was possibly living in the Marysville area and advised Marysville Police Department of the complaint. Officer then returned to patrol.

Domestic Dispute

On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a dispute that had reportedly turned physical. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller and the victim, who advised that suspect had the victim's phone and she requested it back. When suspect returned it, suspect slapped victim on the right side of her face causing a scratch that had been bleeding. Victim advised she did not wish to pursue charges and requested Officer speak with suspect. Officer then met with suspect, who was passed out on the couch in the front bed room, highly intoxicated. Suspect denied hitting victim, but advised if he did smack victim, he was sorry. Suspect agreed to allow caller to transport him to a family members house to allow things to calm down and would return later after sobering up. Officer advised victim that if she changes her mind about the incident to give the police department a call back. Officer then returned to patrol.

On the stated date and time, Officer was contacted via public service in regards to a found Visa Chase Credit Card at the listed location. Caller advised that he was not sure who the card belonged to and that it was used within the last 30 minutes. Officer then took possession of the card and returned to patrol.

On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a well-being check. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with residents, who advised that they were having a verbal dispute. The dispute originated because resident was wanting financial support from his mother to help him move out.  After speaking with both parties, they advised they would remain calm for the rest of the evening.

On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person. The caller advised there was an older, possibly intoxicated male that was asking for money. Officer arrived on scene and checked the area, but was unable to locate the suspect. Officer then made contact with caller, who advised the male must have left the scene prior to Officer's arrival. Officer then returned to patrol.

Civil Dispute/Standby

Village Blvd.

On the stated date and time, Officer was met at the Police Department by subject in reference to a custody dispute. Subject stated that he had court ordered visitation to see his child and that his child's mother had initially agreed to turn over custody of their child to him at her residence. Subject stated that when he went to the residence, to take custody, no one was home.  Subject stated he then received an email from child's mother stating that she did not agree with the terms of their agreement and did not believe it was valid. Officer advised subject that based on the agreement he provided, rightful custody could not be determined at this time. Officer attempted to make contact with the mother, via public service, but was sent to voicemail. Officer then returned to patrol.

Parking Complaint

On the stated date and time, Officer observed a silver Ford Truck parked in a no parking zone. Officer made contact with the owner to warn owner of the infraction and advise owner that he would need to move the vehicle.  Once the vehicle was moved, Officer returned to patrol.

On the above date and time, Officer responded to the area of the listed location in reference to cattle in the roadway. Upon arrival, Officer located one unsecured calf and stood by to make sure the calf did not enter the roadway. The owner arrived a short time later and was able to secure the animals.

Non-Injury Crash

South Chillicothe St.

On the stated date and time, reporting party advised that a vehicle had driven through his yard and caused a significant amount of property damaged. Upon arrival, Officer could see tire tracks leading through the yard to several damaged trees and flower stand. Officer spoke with suspect, who advised she had left a bar and was returning home near the listed location. Suspect advised that she was exhausted and under a lot of stress, and did not recall the incident. Officer reviewed video footage of the accident and observed a vehicle matching suspect's vehicle's description.  Possible charges pending.

CIT Incident

On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suicide threat. Dispatch advised a suicide hotline received a call from subject, who advised she wanted to commit suicide. Upon arrival, Officers spoke to subject.  After speaking with subject and subject's mother, subject was voluntarily transported to hospital.  Due to subject's hostile demeanor, Officer rode in the back of the ambulance to hospital.
