2/10/2020 2:40 AM Fire Support Lewis Cir. On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a possible theft. Upon arrival, it was apparent caller was suffering from an anxiety attack.  Caller took her prescribed medication and began to calm down.  Medics arrived on scene, shortly thereafter.  Caller declined being transported to the hospital. Officers then returned to patrol.     Approved
2/11/2020 8:56 PM Juvenile South Chillicothe St. On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an incident involving a juvenile threatening her son. Upon arrival, Officer met with the complainant who advised that her son was threatened by another juvenile.  Complainant advised that this does not sound like the subject's normal behavior.  Complainant advised the schools are aware and she just wanted to keep the police department in the loop. Officer advised complainant to contact PCPD if there are any further issues. Officer then returned to patrol.   Returned
2/11/2020 6:30 PM Animal Complaint - Other East Main St. On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to an inactive loose dog complaint at the listed location. Upon my arrival, Officer met with the caller who advised subject has been letting her dog wander around in caller's yard dragging a leash around. Caller advised she is afraid that her dog may try to hurt the subject's dog if it in her yard. Officer met with dog owners and advised them of the complaint.  Officer reminded them of the leash laws for Plain City.  Dog owners advised they understood and would keep the dog leashed when out for a walk. Officer advised dog owner to ensure they are holding the leash to keep it in control at all times.  Officer then returned to patrol.   Returned
2/11/2020 12:32 AM Domestic Dispute North Ave. On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with both parties.  Upon further investigation, it was learned subjects were in a verbal dispute.  Both parties apologized and advised everything was fine. Both parties were warned for Disorderly Conduct prior to returning to patrol.   Approved
2/12/2020 6:44 PM Theft - Attempted South Jefferson Ave. On the stated date and time, Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a scam complaint. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller, an employee of Dollar General, who advised she received a call on the business phone from someone claiming to be a Fraud Inspection Agent. After further investigation, Officer advised employee that this was a scam call and there was no truth in what was said. Officer attempted to contact the number with no success. After deeming everything fine, Officer returned to patrol.   Dollar General Store Pending
2/12/2020 10:40 AM Animal Complaint - Other Carriage Dr. On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a cat that had fell into a swimming pool. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the caller who was performing chest compressions on the cat in her front yard. Officer transported caller and the cat off at the Animal Hospital. I then returned to patrol.   Returned
2/12/2020 9:34 AM Bad Checks South Jefferson Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer arrived at the listed location in reference to a bad check complaint. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with complainant who stated that he received a notification from his bank that a check cashed by subject in the amount of 22,000 had posted to his account over the weekend. Complainant let the bank know he did not recognize the check and the funds were returned. Investigation is pending. Schrock's Auto/Ztech Transmission Returned

2/12/2020 2:59 AM Disabled Vehicle US Rt. 42 N  On the stated date and time while on patrol, Officer was flagged down by a red Kia in the area of US 42 and North Chillicothe Street. The passenger stated that his Uber driver passed his residence in Reynoldsburg by mistake while he was asleep. Subject requested Officer give Uber driver directions.  Uber driver stated subject was making her uncomfortable and that she did not wish to drive him any further. While talking with subject further, Officer observed a small bottle of alcohol sticking out of his jacket pocket.  Subject stated that he had nowhere to get rid of the bottle when he called for the Uber and did not want to litter. Officer disposed of the bottle and then made contact with subject's girlfriend via public service who agreed to pick up subject.  Due to the time and temperature, Officer transported subject to the GetGo gas station. Officer then returned to patrol.   Returned
