Upon checking the registration to the vehicle Officer found the registered owner had a warrant for taxes owed out of Marysville Ohio. Upon making contact with the driver she identified herself as Kimberlee Bowshier-Bruce. Kimberlee was placed into custody and transported to Marysville Municipal Court per the request of the Marysville Police Department. Once Marysville Police took custody of Kimberlee, Officer then returned to patrol. | Pending | |
2/5/2020 | 7:11 PM | Theft/Identity | Murlay Dr. | On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a possible phone scam/theft. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the complainant who advised he received a call in which the caller identified himself as a DEA agent and said that complainant would have a warrant issued for his arrest if he did not pay an outstanding balance of $14,500. Officer advised complainant this is a common phone scam. Complainant was advised to contact his bank to which he replied he already had. Complainant was also provided with information to the Ohio Attorney General's Office. Officer advised complainant to contact Officer if he had any further questions. | Pending | |
2/5/2020 | 4:13 PM | Driving Complaint | South Chillicothe St. | On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a driving complaint. Upon arrival, Officer met with the complainant. Complainant stated that he was notified, by his camera system that a vehicle drove off the north side of the alleyway and slightly into his yard/driveway. Officer learned the identity of vehicle owner/driver and advised driver of the complaint. Vehicle driver apologized and didn't think that he drove off the roadway. Driver also advised that it would not happen again. | Approved | |
2/5/2020 | 3:44 PM | Animal Complaint - Other | Shepper Ave. | On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a loose dog complaint. Upon arrival, Officer met with the complainant who stated a black and white dog came from the yard into the alley and attempted to bite her grandson. Complainant said that she did not witness the altercation, but this is what her grandson told her. Grandson was not injured and he did not suffer any damage. Complainant stated that this is a continuing problem with this dog, but this was the first time she had contacted the police department. Officer met with the dog owners and advised them of the complaint. They acknowledged that their son, who is disabled, let the dog out. Officer advised them that this is a reoccurring issue with their animals and they needed to address it. They were also advised that there may be criminal charges out of this incident. | Approved | |

Officer made contact with subject who stated that she made no such threat. Officer made contact with son who stated that it was his father that lives in Circleville who made the threat, not subject. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with complainant who stated that his roommate allowed three individuals to stay the night, but now they refused to leave. Upon checking the inside of the residence Officer found no one to be inside. Complainant did appear to be under the influence of something. Both units then returned to patrol. | Pending | |

The caller stated that his friend sent him a Snapchat video where he was taking pills in an attempt to kill himself. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with subject who denied taking any medication or making any threats of harming himself. After speaking to subject further he was then voluntarily transported by a medic to the hospital. Officer then returned to patrol. | Returned |
