Officer responded to the listed location in reference to an animal complaint. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller Officer advised caller to follow the instructions given by the ODNR unless the animal appeared sick or a hazard. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was met at the Police Department by complainant. Complainant requested Officer make contact with subject and advise her not to contact complainant further. Officer then made contact with subject via public service. Subject agreed to make no further attempts to contact complainant. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a harassment complaint. Officer advised subject to have minimal contact with complainant unless it relates to apartment management. Subject stated that he understood and would avoid all contact unless needed. After speaking with complainant further Officer returned to patrol.

Officer initiated a traffic stop on a black Chevy Van for an equipment violation.  Officer made contact with the vehicle driver, Kenneth Mounts, and his passenger, Michelle Wright.  Kenneth was issued a traffic citation for one brake light and released from the scene. Michelle was later released from the hospital and transported to the Tri-County Jail where she was booked in on drug abuse instruments (x2) drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Officers received a call on station from complainant regarding domestic dispute.   Both parties were advised that their actions would not be tolerated and they needed to separate for the evening. They assured Officers that everything would be fine. Officers then returned to patrol.

Officer was requested by the State Highway Patrol Post 80 to assist with a narcotic sniff of a vehicle involved in a traffic stop on US 33 near Milepost 17. After assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.

Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a well being check. After speaking further with the subject she agreed to be voluntarily transported to Dublin Methodist by Medic 261. Medic 261 transported subject without incident.

Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a white Ford van traveling westbound on West Main Street near Smith Place. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle on West Main Street.  After further investigation, Kelly McGraw was ultimately cited for OVI, Open Container, and Safety Belt. He was then advised of his court date and released to a friend. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to 272 Maple St in reference to a possible stolen package. Subject advised that the post office accidently delivered her package to the wrong address. On 08/19/2018 Officer confirmed subject received the package.

Warrant - Misdemeanor
Lafayette-Plain City Rd.
Officer conducted a routine registration check on a white Chevrolet Cruze that was parked in the lot of the listed location. Officer learned that the registered owner, Preanna Sanders, had an entered (confirmed) warrant out of the Whitehall Police Department for FTA on a traffic offense. Officer transported her to the Get Go in Dublin to wait for Whitehall PD. Whitehall PD arrived on the scene and advised that Preanna's bond was paid in full and the warrant was recalled. At Preanna's request, Officer transported her back to Edgewater Assisted Living and dropped her off. Officer then returned to patrol.
