Ballew was subsequently cited for One Headlight-Two Required and Fictitious Tags and given a summons for Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance. 7/1/2018	1:48 PM	Vandalism	Washington Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft.  After speaking with the neighbor children (OIR# 18-0796) Officer was not able to determine the person who broke the window. The grandmother volunteered to pay for the window. Officer then returned to patrol.
7/1/2018	1:48 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	Washington Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft. All parties agreed that the sandbox belonged to complainant and suspects and their parents were warned about taking things that did not belong to them would result in criminal charges. Complainant took possession of the sandbox and Officer returned to patrol.
7/1/2018	5:41 PM	Parking Complaint	Shepper Ave.	Officer observed a black Jeep parked in front of Shepper Ave that had an expired registration.   Officer left a hand-written note on a PCPD business card on the windshield wiper for the owner advising her that her tags needed to be renewed as soon as possible or she would be at risk for a citation. Officer then returned to patrol.   On Monday July 2nd, subject contacted Officer advising that her registration on her vehicle is now current and thanked PCPD for leaving her the note.
7/2/2018	6:26 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	West Bigelow Ave.	Officer went to East Main Street to meet complainant in reference to a reported dog bite that occurred on June 28, 2018. Officer warned subjects about the laws requiring they confine or keep their dogs restrained. They advised they understood.  Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.

7/3/2018	11:39 AM	Parking Complaint	Maple St.	Officer was advised of a parking complaint involving a white Dodge Neon on Maple Street north of West Bigelow Avenue. Officer made contact with subject via public service and advised him to move the vehicle. The vehicle was moved two days later.
7/3/2018	12:14 PM	Non-Injury Hitskip	Church St.	Officer responded to Church Street and Jackson Street in reference to a Dollar General semi truck that had struck the guardrail at that intersection. Alvin Phillips was issued a citation for Reasonable Control and Use of Local Streets. He was warned for leaving the scene of an accident. Officer returned to patrol.
7/3/2018	2:03 PM	Non-Injury Hitskip	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a hit skip accident. Upon checking the security video for the store subject was observed pulling a black trailer that bump the rear of complainant’s truck. The vehicle then left the scene southbound on Foster Avenue. 7/3/2018	7:59 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was advised of a wire down in front of the listed location. Utility 261 stood by on the scene until Ohio Edison arrived. After Officer’s presence was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.

Sheriff's Office was advised of the canine and had a Deputy come and pick up the canine.  Canine owner called and advised that she believes that the dog that was picked up may be hers. She was referred to the Madison County Sheriff's Office to retrieve her dog.

7/5/2018	3:17 PM	Drug Paraphernalia	South Chillicothe St.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a white Ford Pick-Up Truck traveling southbound on South Chillicothe St. The vehicle driver had an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest out of the Union County Sheriff’s Office.  Officers then made contact with the vehicle passenger, Leslie Beachy. Leslie was charged for Drug Abuse Instruments and Drug Paraphernalia. Male subject was booked in on his outstanding warrant.
7/5/2018	1:04 PM	911 Follow-up	West Main St.	Officer responded to the listed location on a 911 wireless in which dispatch advised they could hear children talking and playing in the background. Joshua Harrow was subsequently issued a citation for Speed (333.03C) and released from the scene pending indictment for Improper Handling, per the prosecutor.

James Reilley was placed into custody for a Felony warrant out of the Warren County Sheriff's Office. James was issued a citation for Child Support Suspension and No OL. He was given a warning for the expired registration. Officer transported James to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

7/8/2018	12:11 AM	Heroin	US Rt. 42 N	Officer was on patrol on US42 near West Ave. when he conducted a routine registration check on a red GMC truck that was traveling northbound on US42. Todd Yoder was subsequently issued a citation for Non Compliance Suspension, Judgment Suspension, and No Valid OL. He was also issued a Criminal Summons for Drug Paraphernalia. His vehicle was towed on scene to the Plain City Police Department Impound lot. License plates were seized per BMV Registrar.
7/8/2018	7:20 PM	Telecom Harassment	Friend St.	Officer was met at the Police Department by complainant in reference to a telecommunication harassment complaint. Officer then attempted to make contact with subject but was sent directly to voicemail.   On 7-8-2018 at approx. 2350, Officer attempted to make contact with subject but was unsuccessful.  07-10-2018 subject has a pending warrant for his arrest, his location is currently unknown. Officer attempted to make contact with subject via public service but was sent directly to voicemail. Officer then returned to patrol.  Officer learned that subject was taken into custody on this day and transported to the Franklin County Jail for an outstanding warrant.
7/9/2018	1:55 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was on patrol when he observed a white Dodge crossover SUV with all of its doors open parked in the primitive camping area at the listed location. Officer then contacted the Village Street Department and advised them about the issue. A short while later the Street Department arrived. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.

7/9/2018	7:44 PM	Threatened Suicide	North Ave.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to subject attempting to sell his property for drug money. Subject was pink slipped and placed on a 72 hour observation. A warrant for Probation Violation will be issued for subject and he will be taken into custody upon his release.
7/9/2018	9:33 PM	Non-Injury Hitskip	Converse Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the intersection of Converse Avenue and Noteman Road in reference to a reported hit skip. The caller who wished to remain anonymous advised that a flat-bed truck back over the stop sign on Converse Avenue and then left. Upon arrival, Officer observed that the sign was flattened to the ground. The pole was damaged but the sign was undamaged. Officer later took photographs of the damage and then returned to patrol.

7/11/2018	1:35 PM	Recovered/Found Property	Friend St.	Subject turned in a ladies wallet that she said she and her family found while canoeing on Big Darby Creek between Amity Pike and the Franklin County line. Officer explained that this area was not in our jurisdiction, but Officer would attempt to locate the owner or turn it over to the Madison County Sheriff's Office. Upon my arrival Officer learned Bailey Nicole Legler had been previously given a warning by Sgt. for drinking beer while at the Steam Threashers show at Pastime Park. 7/13/2018	8:33 PM	Drunk	East Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a possible intoxicated male who was stumbling through the parking lot. Officers observed a middle aged white male with glasses, wearing the same clothes, walking with a middle aged female.  The male appeared to be disabled and holding hands with the female. 7/13/2018	11:17 PM	Fireworks	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the area of North Ave and Noteman Rd. reference a fireworks complaint. Officer checked the area and was unable to locate the suspects. Officer then returned to patrol.
7/14/2018	8:01 PM	Non-Injury Crash	East Main St.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a non-injury accident that occurred around 1:30pm today. Complainant advised he didn’t think the vehicles had collided until he went to the gas station and noticed the damage to the right side of his front bumper.  Investigation pending.

7/14/2018	10:09 AM	Road Hazard	US Rt. 42 N	Officer was dispatched to US Rt. 42 N just south of the bridge in reference to a large pile of gravel in the roadway. Officer then made contact with the head of the Plain City Street Department and advised him of the situation. A short while later, PC Street Dept. arrived on the scene. Officer then provided traffic control while he cleared the roadway. Once the roadway was clear, Officer returned to patrol.
7/14/2018	10:57 AM	Theft/Identity	Jefferson St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a reported identity theft. Officer advised subject that he would complete a report but she would need to contact the Ohio Attorney General's Office to file a report with them. Officer also advised her that there is additional information on their website that would aid her in protecting her identity. Officer then returned to patrol.
7/14/2018	12:54 PM	Recovered/Found Property	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the police department to meet with a subject in reference to a found cell phone. Subject advised Officer that he had found the phone lying on the ground on West Main Street. Officers were later able to determine who the phone belonged to.  On 7/15/2018 Officer met with subject, the phone owner at the police department where his phone was returned to him.
7/14/2018	1:50 PM	Recovered/Found Property	Friend St.	Officer was at the police department when subject arrived and advised that he had stopped at the Jerome Township rest area and while there found a check lying on the ground. A short while later owner of the check arrived at the police department. Officer provided her with the check and then returned to patrol.	Plain City Police Department
