All parties agreed that the sandbox belonged to complainant and suspects and their parents were warned about taking things that did not belong to them would result in criminal charges. Complainant took possession of the sandbox and Officer returned to patrol.

Officer observed a black Jeep parked in front of Shepper Ave that had an expired registration.   Officer left a hand-written note on a PCPD business card on the windshield wiper for the owner advising her that her tags needed to be renewed as soon as possible or she would be at risk for a citation. Officer then returned to patrol.   On Monday July 2nd, subject contacted Officer advising that her registration on her vehicle is now current and thanked PCPD for leaving her the note.

Officer went to East Main Street to meet complainant in reference to a reported dog bite that occurred on June 28, 2018. Officer warned subjects about the laws requiring they confine or keep their dogs restrained. They advised they understood.  Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.

She was referred to the Madison County Sheriff's Office to retrieve her dog.

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a white Ford Pick-Up Truck traveling southbound on South Chillicothe St. The vehicle driver had an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest out of the Union County Sheriff’s Office.  Officers then made contact with the vehicle passenger, Leslie Beachy. Leslie was charged for Drug Abuse Instruments and Drug Paraphernalia. Male subject was booked in on his outstanding warrant.

He was given a warning for the expired registration. Officer transported James to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

Todd Yoder was subsequently issued a citation for Non Compliance Suspension, Judgment Suspension, and No Valid OL. He was also issued a Criminal Summons for Drug Paraphernalia. His vehicle was towed on scene to the Plain City Police Department Impound lot. License plates were seized per BMV Registrar.

The caller who wished to remain anonymous advised that a flat-bed truck back over the stop sign on Converse Avenue and then left. Upon arrival, Officer observed that the sign was flattened to the ground. The pole was damaged but the sign was undamaged. Officer later took photographs of the damage and then returned to patrol.

The owner was located and her husband picked up the wallet at PCPD.

Officer was dispatched to US Rt. 42 N just south of the bridge in reference to a large pile of gravel in the roadway. Officer then made contact with the head of the Plain City Street Department and advised him of the situation. A short while later, PC Street Dept. arrived on the scene. Officer then provided traffic control while he cleared the roadway. Once the roadway was clear, Officer returned to patrol.

Officer advised subject that he would complete a report but she would need to contact the Ohio Attorney General's Office to file a report with them. Officer was dispatched to the police department to meet with a subject in reference to a found cell phone. Subject advised Officer that he had found the phone lying on the ground on West Main Street. Officers were later able to determine who the phone belonged to.  On 7/15/2018 Officer met with subject, the phone owner at the police department where his phone was returned to him.

A short while later owner of the check arrived at the police department. Officer provided her with the check and then returned to patrol.
