The driver was advised of the incident and was advised he needed to retrieve the item. 31-Jul-22	2:17:00 AM	Injury Crash	SR 161 E	Officer responded on a single vehicle injury crash on SR 161E near Butler Ave. The driver of a Harley Davidson Motorcycle lost control, wrecked and sustained injuries. Medic 261 arrived on scene and transported the driver to a nearby hospital. Subsequently, the driver, Joseph Orlowski, 28, of Lewis Center, was issued citations for Reasonable Control and Driving on a Closed Roadway.

02-Aug-22	1:40:00 PM	Marijuana	East Main St.	Officers responded on a report of a disabled vehicle. While making contact with the driver, officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted and marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located. Subsequently, Christian Brent, 23, of Columbus, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia. The disabled vehicle was towed from the scene.

During a probable cause search, a marijuana pipe was located. Subsequently, Chad Smith, 45, of Plain City, was issued a citation for Marijuana Paraphernalia.

05-Aug-22	4:45:00 PM	Injury Crash	South Jefferson Ave.	Officers responded on a report of an injury crash at the intersection of South Jefferson Avenue and Perry Pike. After further investigation, the driver of a Nissan Frontier ran a red light and struck a Ford Escape. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene. One driver was transported to a nearby hospital by Medic 263 and the other was released to a family member. The driver of the Nissan, Dalton Moore, 21, of North Lewisburg, was cited for Red Light Violation, FRA Suspension and No OL.

Upon arrival, officers found a female subject in the grass and could detect a strong odor of alcohol.
