Police Report Recap - 08/27/2021 to 08/29/2021

27-Aug-21 10:05:00 PM Suspicious Person Plain City-Georgesville Rd. Officer was dispatched to look for a suspicious female who was on foot looking in the grass in the caller's yard. The female advised she was looking for her cell phone. Upon arrival, the officer was unable to locate anyone matching the description given.  
27-Aug-21 5:18:00 PM Breaking and Entering North Chillicothe St. Officers responded to a possible breaking and entering. The property owner said the door had been shut, but it was now open and that the property was possibly rummaged through.  He advised the property was vacant and did not want to pursue any investigation, but requested to be placed on the housewatch list.  
27-Aug-21 1:32:00 PM Suspicious Person South Jefferson Ave. Officers assisted a subject who was possibly suffering a mental health crisis and who was possibly homeless. Dollar General Store
27-Aug-21 12:44:00 PM Well-being Check Fairfield Dr. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a well-being check. Officer assisted the Madison County Department of Jobs and Family Services.  
27-Aug-21 12:10:00 PM Behavioral Health West Main St. Officer was dispatched to a mental health crisis. An elderly male had driven his lawn tractor to the business and seemed confused. His caretaker was contacted and was told that the lawn tractor could not be driven on the roadway.  The caretaker picked the subject up a short time later. Richwood Bank
28-Aug-21 11:59:00 PM Loud Noise/Disturbance North Ave. Officers responded to a noise complaint and found the music to be too loud.  Subject was warned and he turned the music down.  
28-Aug-21 7:52:00 PM Assist Other Agency US Rt. 42 S Officers were advised by a passerby of a possible domestic dispute in a vehicle on US Route 42.  Officers located the vehicle north of SR 736 and stood-by with the subjects in the vehicle until deputies from the Union County Sheriff's Office arrived.  
28-Aug-21 2:16:00 PM Vehicle Lockout West Second Ave. Officers assisted a subject who had locked her keys in the vehicle with a young child inside.  The officers were unable to unlock the vehicle using typical tools and ultimately broke a window to gain access due to the heat and the child being inside.  The child was found to be fine and was cleared by medics.
