26-Mar-21	11:25:00 PM	Drugs - Other	West Main St.	Officer initiated a traffic stop with Kaleigh Earles, a suspended driver, and had an active warrant out of the Madison County Sheriff's Office for a probation violation. During a probable cause search of the vehicle, Officer located drug paraphernalia. Madison County advised they did not want Kaleigh on the warrant at this time and have her contact them during business hours for a court date. Kaleigh  was issued a summons for Drug Paraphernalia and a traffic citation for No Valid OL, Failure to Reinstate, and Non-Compliance Suspension. Note: Felony Charges Pending prosecutor review. 26-Mar-21	6:47:00 AM	Road Hazard	Gay St.	Officer responded to Gay Street south of Center Street in reference to a tree that had fallen and was blocking the roadway.  Upon arrival, Officer found a large tree that had blown over due to the high winds in the area overnight.  Officer contacted the Public Works Department, who arrived a short while later and began cutting the tree to get it removed from the road.  Officer then returned to patrol. Officer received a call from complainant in reference to a fraudulent unemployment claim.  Officer referred complainant to the Attorney General's website and also the FTC's Identity Theft website.  Complaint said that she understood and thanked Officer for the additional information. 26-Mar-21	12:29:00 PM	Traffic Stop	West Main St.	Officer was on patrol when Officer conducted a routine registration check on a gray 2003 Ford F150 and learned the registered owner, Michael McKillips, was a suspended driver.  Michael was subsequently issued a citation for No Valid OL, OVI Suspension, and Failure to Reinstate. His vehicle was towed to the PCPD Impound Lot.  Micheal was released from the scene and provided a ride from a valid driver. Officer then returned to patrol.	Plain City Hardware	Approved
26-Mar-21	2:30:00 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Jackson St.	While on routine patrol, Officer observed two low-hanging cables swaying in the heavy winds at the Intersection of Jackson St. and Central Ave. Officer contacted a representative from Ohio Edison, and they stated they would send a representative to the location in about two hours. Officer cleared the scene and went back on patrol.		Approved

27-Mar-21	3:11:00 AM	Drunk Driver	West Bigelow Ave.	While on routine patrol, Officer performed a routine registration check on a blue Ford Fusion at the listed location and learned the registered owner, Roger Sams, was suspended.  Roger was issued a citation for Physical Control and read his court date. Complainant stated that he wanted Officer to contact subject so that she did not return to his residence. Officer attempted to make contact with subject, via public service but was sent to voicemail.
