Officer found an open door after hours. The owner was contacted, advised it was accidental and requested the door be secured. Officer secured the door and returned to patrol.

Traffic Stop

Rickard Rd.

Officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle, failing to yield to oncoming traffic. During the stop, officer was advised that the registration was expired. The subject was given a warning for Failure to Yield and Expired Tags.

Officer responded on a complaint of vandalism. The caller advised, his lawn has been damaged by construction being done and the company stated the damage would be fixed. The caller wanted the incident documented.

Officer responded on an animal complaint of a sick opossum.

Officer responded on a complaint of a driveway being spray painted. The officer advised the spray paint was to mark the utility line that runs under the driveway and that it should be washable.

Officer responded on a complaint of a dog bite, that happened the previous day. The caller advised, he was bitten by his own dog and sought treatment. The caller was advised to contact the Health Department or the Dog Warden if issues continued.

Parking Complaint

South Chillicothe St.

Officer responded on a parking complaint, of a utility truck partially parked on the right-of-way. They were conducting utility work in the area and were within their rights to be in the right-of-way. After determining everything to be fine, officer returned to patrol.

A silver vehicle key was found in the 400 block of Carriage Drive and turned into the police department.

Maple St.

Officer responded on a complaint of a utility truck being parked on private property. The area where the truck was parked is right of way for utilities and they were allowed to access that area.
