Disabled Vehicle

Officer responded on a disabled vehicle that made a U-Turn, struck a rock and got stuck. A short time later, Kirby's Towing arrived on scene and removed the vehicle from the rock. Subsequently, Sheng Li, 42, of Powell, was issued a citation for U-Turn Prohibited (PC ORD 331.12C) and released.

Officer responded on a complaint of possible stalking. The caller advised, she has observed the same dark colored vehicle on multiple occasions following her. She requested that the incident be documented.

Non-Injury Crash

East Main St.

Officer responded to the intersection of East Main Street and Butler Avenue for a non-injury crash. A vehicle struck the side of a truck with a trailer attached, which caused diesel fuel to leak. A short time later, Engine 261 arrived on scene, to clean up the diesel fuel. Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to the damage sustained. Subsequently, Cheryl Ostrander, 55, of Plain City, was cited with Right of Way - When Turning Left (331.17A) for failing to yield.

Parking Complaint

West Main St.

Officer responded on a parking complaint. The owner of the vehicle was contacted and stated she would move the vehicle. Later, officer verified that the vehicle had been moved.

Obstruction of Official Business

Old SR 161 E

During a traffic stop, Officers arrested Nicholas Villarreal, 28, of Columbus, on an outstanding warrant out of Fairfield County. Initially, Villarreal, provided a false identity to officers. After further investigation, officers found out Villarreal's identity and also learned his license was suspended. Subsequently, Villarreal was cited for no valid OL, DUS and charged with Falsification. He was transported to Tri-County Regional Jail.

Officer responded on a parking complaint. Contact was made with the driver, who later moved the vehicle.

Officer responded on a suspicious vehicle. Contact was made with the individuals, who were advised they couldn't be at the business. One individual was warned for curfew and all parties left the location without incident.
