Upon arrival, officers were advised, one of them was hit in the face by an unknown person, who had left the scene before officers arrived. Patrons advised officers there were two groups fighting each other but no one knew the parties involved and no other information was provided. 24-Nov-21 | 7:06:00 PM | Recovered Stolen Vehicle | North Ave. | Officers observed a suspicious female on the passenger side of a parked white Honda CRV at the listed location. Upon checking the registration, it was discovered the vehicle was stolen out of the Franklin County. Officers learned Lily Jendrzejak was driving the vehicle and she admitted getting the vehicle from a friend. Inside the vehicle a burnt piece of foil and a cut straw with white residue was located in the vehicle. Officers transported Lily to the Tri-County Regional Jail without incident. 24-Nov-21 | 6:03:00 PM | Parking Complaint | East First Ave. | Officer received a complaint that a vehicle was parked in front of the listed location with no tire. Upon arrival, officer observed a white Ford Econoline Van, parked in front of the residence. The rear passenger tire was missing and only the rim was left in place. Officer made contact with the vehicle owner, who advised that the vehicle is disabled and advised that he would have it moved in the next few days. | |
24-Nov-21 | 12:15:00 PM | Road Hazard | US Rt. 42 N | Officer responded to US 42 just south of 900 Village Boulevard in reference to a downed powerline. A construction company doing underground utility work hit a powerline with the boom of their backhoe, which caused the utility pole on the east side of the roadway to snap and the powerline to hang low in the roadway. This forced the closure of US 42 until the line could be removed. AEP arrived a short time later and removed the line from across the roadway. | |
25-Nov-21 | 7:11:00 PM | Warrant - Felony | South Jefferson Ave. | Officer initiated a traffic stop on, a vehicle with a missing driver's side tail light lens, on US 42. Officer made contact with the driver, who initially falsely identified himself. While speaking with him, officer could smell a very strong odor of raw marijuana emitting from the vehicle. He surrendered several packages of synthetic marijuana and two blunt wraps. While speaking with the driver, he told me his actual name, Daren Sickles, and provided his ID Card. Daren had a confirmed nationwide warrant out of Michigan. He was placed into custody for his warrant without incident and transported to Tri-County Jail. Daren was subsequently charged with Falsification, Possession of Drugs, Drug Paraphernalia, No OL, FRA Suspension and Tail Light Required. | |

25-Nov-21 | 1:23:00 AM | Marijuana | South Chillicothe St. | Officer observed a 2010 Honda Accord traveling the wrong way on Gay Street. Officer initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. While speaking with the driver, he admitted to having a Marijuana bowl and a glass jar with Marijuana in it. The driver was cited for Wrong Way Streets, Possession of Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia. | |
27-Nov-21 | 6:45:00 PM | Drunk Driver | Wesley Ave. | Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officer heard yelling and also observed a blue Saturn SUV backing out of the driveway. The officer signaled the car to stop. The driver exited the vehicle and was severely intoxicated. Officer learned that there was a physical altercation at the residence they were just at. Officer spoke to all parties involved and no one wanted to pursue criminal charges. The driver of the vehicle, Jessica Ernst, was placed into custody for OVI and transported to the police department, where she submitted a breath test resulting in a .208% BAC. She was issued a citation for OVI and Super Concentration. Jessica was released to a family member. | |

28-Nov-21 | 6:42:00 PM | Non-Injury Crash | Plumwood Ct. | Officer was dispatched to Plumwood Ct for a non-injury vehicle crash. A juvenile operating a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta struck another vehicle. The juvenile stated he was backing out of his driveway when he struck a parked purple 2008 Honda Civic that was partially blocking the driveway. The driver stated that he did not see the parked vehicle. The Jetta received paint transfer to the front bumper and the Civic received paint transfer and piece of the rear bumper was missing from the collision. The owner of the Honda was issued a citation for the parking violation. The juvenile was issued a citation for starting and backing. | |

The individuals stated they needed help with a civil issue regarding custody with the courts. The officer spoke with both individuals and advised that a report would be taken.
