Carriage Dr.

Officer met with complainant at his residence in reference to a theft complaint.  Complainant advised Officer that sometime between 1600 Hours on 05/19/2021 and 0630 hours on 05/20/2021, an unknown subject(s) entered his unlocked vehicle.  The subject(s) took varies items.  Complainant requested a report for documentation.  Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location to assist Deputy UCSO with an alarm drop.  Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.

Parking Complaint

North Ave.

Officer observed a motorcycle parked on the sidewalk in front of the listed location.  Officer made contact with the owner, and advised him that his motorcycle was not permitted to be parked on the sidewalk.  Owner stated that he would move the vehicle.  Officer returned to patrol.

Officer was at the police department when Officer received a call from complainant regarding a theft from his vehicle.   The subject(s) took varies items.  Complainant requested a report for documentation.  Officer then returned to patrol

Pursuit

Cooper Ln.

While on patrol, Officer observed a black SUV parked on Cooper Lane east of Alcott Drive. Officer observed that the vehicle's driver's side door appeared to be open. While approaching the vehicle, several subjects quickly ran into the car and fled the area. Due to high rate of speed, Officer lost sight of the suspect vehicle. Officer checked the area further but was unable to locate the vehicle. Officer returned to check the area where the suspect vehicle was initially located. With another Officer’s assistance Officers located several vehicles that had been entered by the suspects and miscellaneous items had been taken.   Refer to case for further.

Juvenile

South Chillicothe St.

Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a juvenile walking on foot. Juvenile stated that when she feels she is having a mental health episode, the juvenile feels it is best not to be inside her house. While speaking with juvenile, Officer had to leave due to an emergency call. Officer advised juvenile to head straight home, and Officer would follow up later.  At 0814 hours, Officer made contact with juvenile’s mother and advised her of the incident. Juvenile’s mother advised juvenile had come straight home and was currently sleeping.
