Officer met with the resident and dog's owner who advised that she heard it start barking and tried to get the dog as quickly as she could.  Officer advised resident of the possible consequences of future calls. Officer spoke with subject about this and denied any physical altercations. Subject advised that she sent a text as a joke to her cousin.  Officer then discussed the importance of not making false claims to people in order to get attention. Officer then returned to patrol. 12-Oct-20	6:19:00 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to a report of male with a knife in the area of Frontier Communication.  Officer met with the caller.  Later, Officer spoke with Madison County Prosecutor's about this incident, and they advised that no charges should be filed since suspect only displayed the knife and made no threats, comments, or gestures to use the knife and left. 14-Oct-20	2:12:00 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	South Chillicothe St.	Officer met complainant at their residence in reference to a theft complaint.  Complaint advised that they had a small "Biden" election sign taken from their sign from the yard. 16-Oct-20	11:23:00 PM	Drunk Driver	SR 161 W	Officer initiated a traffic stop with vehicle and made contact with the driver, Thomas Oneal. During the investigation, Thomas gave indicators of impairment and after FSTs was placed under arrest for OVI. Thomas refused to submit a breath sample. Thomas was transported to Tri-County Regional Jail. Thomas was issued a citation for OVI and Marked Lanes.		Pending
16-Oct-20	8:07:00 PM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	Noteman Rd.	Officer initiated a traffic stop with vehicle without it’s left rear turn signal.   Upon checking the occupants for warrants, Officer learned that Ke'Juan Miller had an entered warrant out of Whitehall Police Deparment for DUS (out of the pickup) and also a warrant out of the Madison County Sheriff's Office for DUS (within the pickup and confirmed).  Ke'Juan was placed into custody without incident, and Officer transported him to the Tri-County Regional Jail.  Vehicle driver was released with a warning for the turn signal violation. Officer spoke with subject, who advised he had a medical reason not to wear a mask. Officer advised subject that McDonald’s is a private entity and can refuse service to anyone for any reason. 16-Oct-20	12:16:00 AM	Curfew	West Main St.	Officer initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the vehicle driver.  It was later found that vehicle driver was requested to pick up subject before things got out of hand because his mother had been drinking. MCSO was advised of the incident.  After deeming everything fine, Officer returned to patrol		Returned
16-Oct-20	6:25:00 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Gay St.	Officer received a call from complainant who advised that the dog of a known resident was on her property again.  Officer located dog's owner at Lee's Sports and Spirits.  Officer advised dog owner that this is a constant problem, and he needed to correct it, or he could be charged.  Dog owner stated that he understood, and Officer returned to patrol. While on routine patrol, Officer observed the cover to a valve station open at the intersection of Noteman Road and North Avenue.  Officer made contact with Plain City Public Works, who advised that it shouldn't be open.  Officer was able to secure the door and returned to patrol. 17-Oct-20	3:12:00 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	West Main St.	Officer was flagged down by a female walking near the listed location.  Female stated that she locked her keys and cell phone inside the listed location while closing the business. Officer transported female to the Police Department so she could wait for her husband to bring her a second set of keys to the business.
