11-Jul-20	9:42:00 PM	Disabled Vehicle	West Main St.	On the stated date and time, while on routine patrol, Officer observed a grey Ford Taurus parked on the lot of the listed location.  Officer made contact with two subjects.  Officer learned that subjects were on their way home when their vehicle stopped running.  Subjects were trying to get to northern Ohio and were not able to get a ride.  UCSO Deputy arrived on the scene and gave subjects a curtesy transport to the Holiday Inn, located in Marysville, Ohio.  Subjects vehicle was unable to be secured due to an electrical issue and they advised that it would be removed from the lot tomorrow morning. 11-Jul-20	11:18:00 AM	Non-Injury Hitskip	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a possible hit skip crash. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller stated that he had observed a fence near the baseball fields that appeared to have been knocked down by a vehicle. Caller stated that he had already notified the park manager and that she stated that it would be repaired but to have the incident documented. After checking the area and locating no additional damage or indicators of a suspect vehicle, Officer returned to patrol.	Pastime Park	Approved
11-Jul-20	2:57:00 PM	911 Unknown	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 unknown. Upon my arrival, Officer made contact with the caller who stated that she had accidently dialed 911 and did not need any assistance. 11-Jul-20	5:21:00 PM	911 Unknown	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 unknown. Upon my arrival, Officer made contact with the caller who stated that she had accidently dialed 911 and did not need any assistance. 12-Jul-20	10:35:00 PM	Assault - Misdemeanor	West Main St.	On the stated date and time, Officers responded to the listed location in reference to an assault. The original caller was at Lee’s Sports and Spirits and indicated that a white male with brown hair punched victim in the face twice while at Mike's Pitt Stop.  Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the suspect and his friend at Mike's Pitt stop purchasing beer. Both males appeared to be heavily intoxicated.  Officer  asked suspect about the incident that occurred between he and victim.  Suspect stated that he was in a verbal altercation with another individual and an unknown female.  Due to suspect's level of intoxication, Officer provided a courtesy ride to suspect and his friend.  Later on, that same evening. Officers followed up with the victim and asked him about the incident. Victim indicated that he was not at Lee’s Sports and Spirits and was not assaulted.  On 07/13/2020, the victim of the assault was confirmed, but stated to Officer that he did not want to pursue any charges against suspect for the assault. 12-Jul-20	7:15:00 PM	Road Hazard	Perry Pike	On the stated date and time, Officer received a direct complaint of a mattress in the middle of Perry Pike blocking traffic. Upon arrival, Officer observed a king size mattress in the middle of the westbound lane, approximately 20 yards from the entrance of Country Place.  Officer pulled the mattress off the road onto the grass.  Officer notified Public Works Department and requested it be picked up and disposed.  Officer then returned to patrol. 12-Jul-20	6:23:00 PM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	East West Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officers responded to a direct complaint at the listed location in reference to a loud argument. Upon arrival, Officer heard numerous loud voices in the area. Officers then made contact with the home owner who was having a gathering of friends at his residence.  Homeowner admitted to being loud, but advised there were no arguments occurring.   Home owner advised he would keep the noise down. After determining everything to be fine, Officers then returned to patrol.		Approved
12-Jul-20	3:00:00 PM	Domestic Dispute	North Chillicothe St.	On the listed date and time, Officers responded to Pastime Park, lot 36, in reference to a loud dispute between two individuals. Officer made contact with suspect who advised that he was in a verbal dispute with his father.  Due to the argument suspect refused to drive his father home.  Suspect agreed to stay in the camper until his mother arrived to drive his father home.  Officer then returned to patrol. 12-Jul-20	11:00:00 AM	Message Delivery	Lantern Ln.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location at the request of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a message delivery.  Dispatch advised that subject's Mercedes was parked on Locus Road. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with subject who stated that the vehicle had broken down while being driven by her son. Officer advised subject to contact the Sheriff’s Office to speak with them directly. Officer then returned to patrol.		Returned
12-Jul-20	7:30:00 AM	Pursuit	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a white/black Ford F450 and trailer traveling northbound on S. Chillicothe St. at a high rate of speed which was paced at 44MPH in a 25MPH speed zone. The vehicle failed to stop for Officer's emergency lights and siren and continued to travel erratically at a high rate of speed until he eventually came to a stop on US70 near SR38 after several moving violations. The operator, later identified as Corey Castle, was charged with several moving violations and Failure to Comply with Lawful Order (F3). See case for further.		Returned

13-Jul-20	5:54:00 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the parking area on North Chillicothe Street just north of Main Street in reference to a parking issue. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the Village Administrator who stated that the building that was under construction had started to lean and that the public parking area needed blocked off for safety purposes. Officer made contact with vehicle owner and advised him that he would need to move his Honda Element.  Once the vehicle was moved, Officer assisted in blocking off the parking. Officer then returned to patrol.		Approved
13-Jul-20	1:35:00 AM	911 Follow-up	Smucker Ln.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 followup. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with caller who advised he accidentally called 911 while doing a meeting through Facetime. Caller apologized and advised everything was okay. After determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.		Approved
