Upon arrival, Officer found a gold Chevy Malibu with front end damage and a green Honda Accord with left front damage. Driver of the Malibu advised that she was eastbound on West Main Street when the Accord, driven by Angela Brandel, pulled out in front of her from the alley next to Mike's Stop. Malibu driver was unable to stop or avoid the crash and struck the left front corner of Angela's vehicle. This caused disabling damage to both vehicles. Neither driver was injured. Angela confirmed all of this and said she couldn't see past some vehicles that were parked along West Main Street. Angela was issued a citation for Failure to Yield. 12/31/2019 | 8:59 PM | Heroin | SR 161 E | On the stated date and time, Officer observed a tan Buick traveling westbound on SR 161 at the east corporation limits. The vehicle's passenger side headlight was inoperable. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Kayla Davis-Woods and advised her why Officer stopped her vehicle. Upon further investigation, Kayla was found to have an entered warrant out of the Marysville Police Department. She was placed into custody and admitted to having Heroin on her person. Officer conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and nothing else was located. Kayla was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. Kayla was also issued a citation for One-Headlight-Two Required (PC ORD 337.03A). The vehicle was parked legally and secured on scene. Charges pending analysis of the substance.
