1/2/2020 3:38 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified East West Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to unknown damage to a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with complainant who advised Officer he had dents on his Black Chevrolet Pick-up.  Officer observed a large dent on the passenger side of complainant's truck near the cab, along with minor damage/dents on various spots around the vehicle. Complainant advised Officer he was unaware of where the damage occurred and advised he believed it occurred sometime within the last week. Photographs of the damage were taken. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
1/2/2020 4:37 PM Warrant - Misdemeanor South Jefferson Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer observed a white Monte Carlo traveling northbound on South Jefferson Ave near West Ave. The vehicle did not have a front license plate and the registration returned to a non-valid driver. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle driver, Brian Wilichowski. After further investigation it was found Brian had a suspended driver's license. It was also found Brian had an active confirmed warrant out of Franklin County for Failure to Appear on a traffic offense.  Brian was issued a traffic citation for No Valid OL, FRA Suspension X2, and License Forfeiture Suspension. Brian was then released to Sharon Township Officer.  Brian's vehicle was parked off the roadway and he contacted a valid driver to pick it up.     Pending
1/2/2020 8:51 PM Suspicious Circumstances Dickens Ln. On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the homeowner who advised Officer about an hour prior to Officer's arrival a suspicious vehicle was parked in front of his house. Homeowner showed Officer footage of the vehicle which appeared to be a 2010 or newer silver Sedan. The video was not clear enough to get the vehicle registration make or model. The vehicle sat in front of homeowner's house for several minutes before moving beside another parked vehicle on the roadway for about a minute. The vehicle then left towards Hawthorne Dr.   Approved
1/2/2020 2:06 PM 911 Follow-up Converse Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow-up.   Upon arrival, Officer made contact with subjects.  The parties advised Officer the call was accidental and everything was fine. Officer deemed everything fine and returned to patrol.   Pending
1/3/2020 3:02 PM 911 Follow-up East Main St. On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow-up. Dispatch advised upon callback caller advised she was at a funeral and accidentally dialed 911. Upon arrival, Officer was unable to make contact with caller. Officer called caller via cellular service and was advised she was driving back to her home. Caller verified that she had inadvertently dialed 911 while at a funeral service and everything was fine. 1/3/2020 1:27 AM Suspicious Circumstances Fairfield Dr. On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious circumstance. The caller stated she heard a loud thud at the back window, and believed someone may be trying to get into her residence. Upon arrival, Officers searched the area but did not locate anything out of the ordinary. After determining everything to be fine, Officers then returned to patrol.   Pending
1/3/2020 4:59 AM Non-Injury Crash South Jefferson Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a semi blocking the roadway on West Ave. near Der Dutchman.  Officer made contact with the vehicle operator, Brittany Naylor, who advised she was positioning her vehicle to back up when the front end of the semi went off the south side of the roadway. This caused the semi trailer's jacks to get caught on the roadway. This also caused tire ruts on the southside of the roadway. Brittany was issued a citation for Reasonable Control. The vehicle was moved by a tow truck off the roadway. Officer then returned to patrol.   Der Dutchman Pending
1/3/2020 8:34 AM Assist Other Agency Plain City-Georgesville Rd. On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to Plain City Geoegesville Road and Cemetary Pike in reference to a two-vehicle crash. Upon arrival, Officer learned that the crash was going to be Ohio State Patrol Post 49's crash.  Upon the arrival of units from the Ohio State Patrol, Officer's assistance was no longer needed. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
1/3/2020 10:15 AM Well-being Check Stenner Ct. On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a well-being check. The caller advised dispatch that she has been unable to make contact with her grandmother and is concerned. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller who advised that she had been calling her grandmother, but she was not answering. Officer made entry into the residence. Officer was unable to locate grandmother inside the residence. While checking the area caller was able to learn that grandmother had gone to the Der Dutchman Restaurant for breakfast with friends. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.   Pending
1/3/2020 2:51 PM 911 Follow-up South Jefferson Ave. On the listed date and time, Officers responded to the following location for a 911-hang up call. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the manager of the building who stated she was not aware of anyone who called 911. After speaking with the manager, Officers checked the area of the business and found everything to be fine. Officers then returned to patrol. Der Dutchman Pending
1/3/2020 9:34 PM Loud Noise/Disturbance West Second Ave. On the listed date and time, Officers responded to the listed location in response to a noise complaint. Upon arrival, Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the source of the noise complaint.  Officers then returned to patrol.   Pending
1/3/2020 11:17 AM 911 Follow-up Murlay Dr. On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow up. Upon arrival, Officer met with the homeowner who advised that she had accidentally hit the emergency button on her phone.  Homeowner advised that everything was okay and apologized for the incident. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.   Pending
1/5/2020 2:04 AM Traffic Stop West Main St. On the stated date and time, Officer conducted a routine registration check on a blue Honda Sedan traveling westbound on West Main St near South Jefferson Ave. Officer learned that the registration returned to a white Kia Rio and the registration expired on 05-11-2019. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle driver, Austin Foster, and his passenger.  After further investigation, it was found Austin had purchased the vehicle on 09-28-18 and had never had it registered.  Austin was later issued a citation for Fictitious Tags and Expired Tags.  Austin's vehicle was towed to the PCPD impound lot.  Austin and his passenger were later transported to the rest area on US 33 at their request due to their ride being over an hour away.    Pending
1/5/2020 6:48 PM Rape North Ave. On the listed date and time, Officers were dispatched to the hospital in reference to a sex offense that occurred at the listed location. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the victim who was the reporting party. Victim gave her statement as to what happened between the dates of January 2, 2020, and January 5, 2020, at the listed location.  Officer also spoke with the victim's friend, who stated she was a witness in the incident.  Refer to case for further.   Pending
1/5/2020 8:20 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified South Jefferson Ave. On the stated date and time, a Pharmacist at Plain City Druggist, requested a police unit meet him at the store because of an after-hours fulfillment of a prescription. Pharmacist advised that he had received a text message from an unfamiliar phone number and asked for a unit to ensure the safety of the transaction. Officer met with the subject who produced the required documentation and the prescription was filled.  Officer then returned to patrol. Plain City Druggist/Professional  Pending
1/5/2020 10:07 PM Suspicious Circumstances Willowbend Cir. On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious circumstance. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the homeowner who stated her attic door in her garage ceiling was halfway off and stated she did not know how it got that way. Officer then checked the attic but did not observe anything out of the ordinary. Officer also looked throughout the residence, but again found nothing out of the ordinary. After determining everything to be fine, Officers then returned to patrol.   Returned
1/5/2020 11:00 PM Harassment/Menacing Fairfield Dr. On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a harassment complaint. The caller stated her ex-boyfriend had tried to contact her.  Caller, who has a No Contact Order in place with ex-boyfriend stated ex-boyfriend has tried multiple times to make contact with her, even though she has blocked him.  Caller's friend provided Officer with messages from ex-boyfriend and showed Officer comments ex-boyfriend has made on Facebook. Officer attempted to make contact with ex-boyfriend, but was unsuccessful.  This incident will be forwarded to the Madison County Prosecutors Office   Pending
