Lesabre in the driveway to be open. Officer met with the vehicle owner.
Owner checked the vehicle and found everything to be okay and secured
the trunk. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the area of US 42 in reference to a
driving complaint. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the semi and made
contact with the driver. Driver stated that he was having a mechanical
issue with the turn signal but was able to fix it just prior to being stopped
and that he was currently on his way to have the vehicle serviced.
Officer advised driver that he was not to continue to operate the
vehicle if the same issue occurred. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference a
forged check. Officers made contact with Jacob Brown. Jacob Brown when
cashing the check, signed his name to the backside of the check and endorsed
it. Jacob was then placed in custody and charged with Forgery and was then
transported to Tri-County Regional Jail.

failure to pay. Upon arrival Officer spoke with an employee of the business
who advised a two-door Silver Car had pumped $23.02 and left prior to paying.
Officer spoke with business owner, who advised she didn’t want to pursue with
any charges.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a
hit-skip crash that had occurred in the driveway about 40 minutes earlier.
The caller advised dispatch that subject had struck the rear end of her
vehicle causing damage. Officer observed the vehicle had damage to the
bumper area. Officer met with Christina Hecht who advised she was aware she
hit it but didn't know she caused damage. Christina was later issued a
citation for Stopping After Accident.

Officer was at the Union County Sheriff's Office when an
activated alarm came in for the Union County Auditor's Office. Deputy
requested Officer assist him with a check of the building’s exterior. Once
Officer’s assistance was no longer needed he returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a
theft. Officer made contact with employees who stated that a female,
recognized via video review had taken three stuffed animals, valued for a
total of $60, without offering payment. After speaking with business owner,
he advised that charges would only be filed if subject did not pay for the
merchandise by the end of the day on 12/21/2017. Officer then made
contact with subject who admitted to the theft. Subject was advised to pay
for the merchandise by deadline. Subject stated she would pay for the
merchandise before the deadline. Officer then returned to patrol.

theft report. Upon arrival, Officer met with the night manager and a witness.
The witness advised a male subject took the large napkin dispenser off the
counter and left with it. Night manager advised that she needs the incident
documented for the general manager. Officer then returned to patrol.

Dodge Ram truck. Officer had prior knowledge that James had an entered
warrant (Probation Violation 4920). Officer made contact with James as
he exited the truck. James was placed into custody and transported to
Tri-County. James was also issued a citation for DUS.

a subject who made suicidal threats and took a firearm. Officers were later notified subject was located south of Columbus.

Officer was contacted by an employee of Edgewater Assisted
Living. Complainant requested Officer make contact with subject and requested
that subject only come to the facility if he was going to visit his friends
or relatives not to loiter around and speak with residents he does not know.
Officer made contact with subject who advised he would only go over to visit
his relatives and friends. After deeming everything fine Officer returned to
patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the location listed for a vehicle
crash. Officer observed a silver Volvo S40 off the right side of Plain City
Georgesville Road. Driver advised he was southbound on Plain City
Georgesville Road when a eastbound white car on Converse Huff Road pulled out
in front of him, he served and missed the vehicle then slid on the wet
pavement into the ditch. Kirby's towing later arrived and towed the vehicle.

911 follow-up. Dispatch advised that a female juvenile called 911 and was
screaming/crying. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with subjects who were

the parking lot and the immediate area nearby. There were no vehicles in the

driving complaint. Officer observed the vehicle traveling westbound on SR 161
near Lafayette Plain City Road. While following the vehicle Officer observed
it cross left of the center line multiple times. Officer initiated a traffic
stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver. Officer stood by while Deputy administered SFST’s. Driver was subsequently
placed into custody for OVI. Once assistance was no longer needed Officer
returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a man
with a gun. Upon arrival, Officer learned that Chase Maxwell pointed a
firearm at his ex-girlfriend. Chase then left the scene in his silver Hyundai
Tiburon. Officer checked the area but was unable to locate the suspect.
A Misdemeanor Warrant for Aggravated Menacing will be issued for
Chase’s arrest.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a
vehicle accident. Upon arrival Officer observed two vehicles with damage in
the parking lot of 234 South Jefferson Avenue. Officer made contact with the
both drivers. Lisa Monnette was subsequently issued a citation for ACDA
(PCORD 333.03A) and Full Time and Attention (PCORD 331.34C), Lisa was given a
verbal warning for an expired drivers license and no seatbelt.

injury accident. A few minutes after Officer’s arrival, OSP Post 49 arrived
on the scene. They requested Officer conduct traffic control until they were
able to get the Honda off the roadway. Once assistance was no longer needed,
Officer returned to patrol.

Officer was notified by the Hilliard Police Department that they
had placed Chase Maxwell into custody for an Aggravated Menacing warrant out
of our agency (PCPD Case #17-183-A). Officer met with Hilliard Officer at the
Big Darby Baptist Church and placed Chase into my custody. Chase was
transported to the police department and to the Tri-County Regional Jail a
short time later.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to
threatened suicide. Officers made contact with all parties. Subject
advised if he thinks of harming himself he would advise his father to take
him to the hospital. Officers advised father to keep an extra eye on subject
and advise the Police Department if there were any issues.
