Officer responded in reference to unknown damage to a vehicle.  The reporting party advised there was missing pieces from the front driver side door handle and he is unsure if it was tampered with or not. The incident was documented.

Non-Injury Crash

Lafayette-Plain City Rd.

Officer was dispatched to a non-injury accident on Lafayette-Plain City Rd near Perry Pike.  An Ohio Edison truck was laying on its side on the roadway. After speaking with the occupants and determining the cause, the driver Brent White, was issued a traffic citation for full time and attention and reasonable control.

911 Follow-up

Madison Ave.

Officer was dispatched in reference to a 911 follow-up. Contact was made with the caller, who advised is was accidental. After deeming everything to be fine, officer returned to patrol.

Non-Injury Crash

Shepper Ave.

Officer was dispatched in reference to a non-injury crash. A white Honda CRV was backing out of a driveway, as a garbage truck was backing up. The vehicles collided causing substantial damage to the rear of the Honda and no visible damage to the garbage truck. Drivers were advised it was mutual fault. Neither party was issued a citation. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

Open Door

North Chillicothe St.

Officer found a side door unsecured after business hours. A check of the building was completed and nothing was out of the ordinary however, the door could not be secured. Contact with a keyholder was attempted but was unsuccessful. Officer left a note for the business.

Warbler Ln.

Officer observed cardboard boxes and other debris near Nighthawk Dr and Warbler Dr. The area was cleared and officer returned to patrol.

East Main St.

Officer found a side door unsecured after business hours.  A check of the building was completed and nothing was out of the ordinary. A note was left and the door was secured.
