Officer provided complainant with information about not being a crime victim and referred him to the Ohio Attorney Generals' website to gain further information on avoiding scams. Officer then spoke with all the kids involved, along with their parents/guardians.  The children apologized for the incident and advised they would not do it again.  Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol. Officer advised suspect that they are not legal and advised suspect to not set any additional fireworks off. Suspect advised he understood and would not set them off anymore.
