4/2/2020 | 10:45 PM | Drunk Driver | East Main St. | On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to an injury accident. Upon arrival, Officers learned Tory Stover was operating a 2010 black BMW. While traveling, the front end of Tory's vehicle crashed into the back of a maroon Dodge truck which was parked in front of the listed location. This crash caused the front end of the maroon Dodge to strike the back end of a green 1996 Chevrolet truck, which was also parked in front of the listed location. This caused disabling damage to the BMW and the Dodge, and minor damage to the Chevrolet truck. After further investigation, Tory was placed under arrest for OVI and transported back to the police department where he refused to submit to a urine test. Tory was cited for OVI and Failure to Control, and released to a friend, at her residence. | Approved | |

Upon arrival, Officer met with the complainant who advised who the truck was being driven by. Officer later met with suspect at his residence. Officer advised suspect of the complaint against him. Suspect assured Officer he was not speeding. Suspect advised Officer that he does have an aftermarket exhaust on the truck so it is possible it sounds like he is speeding. Complainant explained that while he was in his garage an unknown black male, approximately 6-foot tall wearing sweatpants, a long sleeve shirt, a toboggan, and a vest type jacket approached him and asked what kind of work he did. Complainant told subject that this was not his concern and that he needed to leave the property. The male initially refused to leave, but when complainant said he was calling the police, the male left and walked across the alley to the neighbors. Complainant said the male had since left the area, but he wanted the incident documented. Officer patrolled the area, but did not locate anyone matching that description. | Approved | |

The caller stated that one of the males was around the entrance and the other was lying down on the sidewalk. Upon arrival, Officer met with both subjects who advised that they were there using the Wi-Fi. Both subjects did not appear to be doing anything improper. As Officer was leaving, a library employee came outside and confirmed that both subjects were permitted to be there using the Wi-Fi. Upon arrival to the area, Officer was flagged down by complainant who stated that a Hispanic male wearing a hood was parked in a grey two-door vehicle with a loud muffler on Buckboard Ln near Carriage St. Officers patrolled the area but was unable to locate the vehicle that matched the description. Complainant advised at around 0930 hours today, his girlfriend came to his residence. When she arrived, she stated she was being followed by her ex-boyfriend. Ex-boyfriend exited a silver Chevrolet Aveo and complainant went outside to speak with him. After a brief conversation, ex-boyfriend left the area. Girlfriend then went back to her residence in Columbus. Complainant then requested Officer speak with ex-boyfriend and ask him to leave him alone and never return to his residence. Officer called ex-boyfriend, but when Officer identified himself, ex-boyfriend hung up and would not answer Officer's calls. Officer advised complainant of this and requested he speak with girlfriend and have her come to the police department to fill out a statement. Officer then returned to patrol. | Pending | |
