4/2/2020	7:52 PM	Behavioral Health	Converse Ave.	On the stated date and time. Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious circumstance. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with complainant who indicated a white male, in a grey or silver color four-door sedan had driven back and forth passed his house about five times. Complainant also indicated that he believes that the individual may have stolen two pieces of plexiglass out of his yard about six months ago. Complainant then indicated all he wanted done was for someone to keep a lookout for the vehicle. Officer advised complainant that Officers would keep watch for anything out of the ordinary. Officer then returned to patrol.		Approved

4/2/2020	10:45 PM	Drunk Driver	East Main St.	On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to an injury accident. Upon arrival, Officers learned Tory Stover was operating a 2010 black BMW.  While traveling, the front end of Tory's vehicle crashed into the back of a maroon Dodge truck which was parked in front of the listed location. This crash caused the front end of the maroon Dodge to strike the back end of a green 1996 Chevrolet truck,  which was also parked in front of the listed location. This caused disabling damage to the BMW and the Dodge, and minor damage to the Chevrolet truck.  After further investigation, Tory was placed under arrest for OVI and transported back to the police department where he refused to submit to a urine test. Tory was cited for OVI and Failure to Control, and released to a friend,  at her residence.		Approved
4/2/2020	3:05 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Lantern Ln.	On the stated date and time, Officer was advised by the Madison County Sheriff's Office to make contact with subject, via telephone, in reference to a possible child pornography incident. After speaking with subject, Officer then contacted the West Jefferson Police Department to give all of the necessary information, Officer then returned to patrol.		Approved
4/3/2020	8:05 PM	Driving Complaint	Harrington Dr.	On the stated date and time,  Officer received a complaint on a red Chevrolet pick-up truck bearing was speeding westbound on Harrington Drive. Upon arrival, Officer met with the complainant who advised who the truck was being driven by.  Officer later met with suspect at his residence.  Officer advised suspect of the complaint against him. Suspect assured Officer he was not speeding. Suspect advised Officer that he does have an aftermarket exhaust on the truck so it is possible it sounds like he is speeding. Suspect also advised Officer he believes the complainant calls on him for no reason. After deeming everything fine, Officer returned to patrol.		Approved
4/3/2020	12:45 AM	Drug Overdose	East Main St.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unconscious female.  Upon arrival, Officer made contact with caller who stated his wife had been lethargic and unresponsive. Medics arrived on scene. Subject was transported to hospital.  See OIR 20-0353 for further. See case for further.		Pending
4/3/2020	10:45 AM	Suspicious Person	South Chillicothe St.	On this date and time, Officer received a call from complainant who advised of a suspicious person that had been at his residence. Complainant explained that while he was in his garage an unknown black male, approximately 6-foot tall wearing sweatpants, a long sleeve shirt, a toboggan, and a vest type jacket approached him and asked what kind of work he did. Complainant told subject that this was not his concern and that he needed to leave the property. The male initially refused to leave, but when complainant said he was calling the police, the male left and walked across the alley to the neighbors. Complainant said the male had since left the area, but he wanted the incident documented. Officer patrolled the area, but did not locate anyone matching that description.		Approved
4/3/2020	11:45 AM	Suspicious Person	West Main St.	On this date and time, Officer responded to the listed location on the report of two suspicious males. The caller stated that one of the males was around the entrance and the other was lying down on the sidewalk. Upon arrival, Officer met with both subjects who advised that they were there using the Wi-Fi. Both subjects did not appear to be doing anything improper. As Officer was leaving, a library employee came outside and confirmed that both subjects were permitted to be there using the Wi-Fi. After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.	Plain City Public Library	Approved
4/3/2020	7:08 PM	Alarm Drop	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer received a call at the police department.  Complainant advised that her residential alarm was going off and she was unable to respond.  Complainant requested that PCPD  check the residence.  Upon arrival, Officers checked the residence and found it to be secure. Once Officers cleared the scene, Officer made contact with complainant, via public service, and advised her of Officer's findings.		Approved
4/3/2020	8:36 PM	911 Follow-up	Gay St.	On the listed date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow-up. Dispatch advised they spoke with caller who advised it was accidental. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the caller who advised he had the phone in his pocket and must have hit the emergency button. Caller apologized for the incident and thanked Officer for checking on him. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.		Approved
4/3/2020	2:41 PM	Threatened Suicide	Coachman Dr.	On the listed date and time, Officers responded to the listed location in reference to threats of suicide. Upon arrival, Officers met with the caller who advised that her daughter had threatened to kill herself twice.  Officers then spoke with daughter about her threats. Officer advised daughter a medics would be requested to respond due to her threat. Upon the arrival of medic personnel, daughter agreed to be transported to the hospital for evaluation. Once daughter was in the medic, Officers returned to patrol. See CIT report for any additional information.		Approved
4/4/2020	2:46 PM	Juvenile	North Chillicothe St.	On the listed date and time, Officers responded to Pastime Park in reference to juveniles playing volleyball during the quarantine. Upon arrival, Officer observed three juvenile females playing volleyball. All individuals were well outside the standard safe distance. At the current time, the sand volleyball courts are open to the public. Officer then made contact with the caller and advised her that the volleyball area is open to the public but that the nearby playgrounds were closed. Officer thanked caller for her concern and then returned to patrol.	Pastime Park	Pending
4/4/2020	7:05 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	East Main St.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the intersection of East Main Street and Butler Avenue. The anonymous complainant stated that they found a syringe lying in the roadway. They did not touch it and left the scene prior to Officer's arrival. Officer walked from Butler Avenue to the entrance of McKitrick Park and did not locate the syringe. Officer then returned to patrol.		Approved
4/4/2020	7:21 PM	Unruly	North Ave.	On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unruly juvenile. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller who advised that his daughter would not surrender her cell phone to him as punishment. Caller explained that his 14yo daughter had been communicating with an18yo male, and he did not approve. Caller also requested Officer make contact with 18yo male and advise him not to contact his daughter. Officer spoke with daughter and advised her that her father has the right to demand her cell phone.  Officer spoke with 18yo male over public service and advised him to have no further contact with caller's daughter.  Officer then returned to patrol. 4/4/2020	10:53 PM	Barking Dog	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a barking dog complaint. It was advised that the dog had been outside for several hours. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with dog owner who was advised of the complaint and brought his dog inside without issue. Officer then returned to patrol.		Pending
4/4/2020	11:23 PM	Domestic Dispute	Foster St.	On the stated date and time, Officer was contacted via public service by complainant in reference to a domestic dispute that occurred at the listed location approximately three weeks ago. Complainant stated that during the dispute subject held her down by both arms causing bruising to each arm. Complainant stated that she wanted to report the incident due to subject's continued telecommunication harassment. Officer advised complainant to contact her local Police Department to report the telecommunication harassment. Complainant agreed to meet an Officer at the Police Department on 04-07-2020 for an interview.   Possible case pending.		Pending
4/5/2020	10:00 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	Carriage Dr.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the area of Carriage Drive and Buckboard Lane in reference to two suspicious vehicles. Dispatch advised two silver vehicles were seen driving in the area and were parked on Buckboard lane. One of the males was wearing a hood and covered up his face to avoid being seen. Upon arrival to the area, Officer did not locate any vehicle matching that description. Officer then returned to patrol.		Pending
4/5/2020	10:01 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	Willow Creek Ct.	On the stated date and time, Officers responded to the area of Coachman Drive and Willow Creek Court in reference to a suspicious person driving slow passed houses. Upon arrival to the area, Officer was flagged down by complainant who stated that a Hispanic male wearing a hood was parked in a grey two-door vehicle with a loud muffler on Buckboard Ln near Carriage St. Officers patrolled the area but was unable to locate the vehicle that matched the description. Once Officers checked both sides of town for the vehicle, Officers then returned to patrol.		Pending
4/5/2020	7:00 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Carriage Dr.	On the stated date and time, Officer spoke to complainant in reference to a harassment complaint. Complainant advised at around 0930 hours today, his girlfriend came to his residence. When she arrived, she stated she was being followed by her ex-boyfriend.   Ex-boyfriend exited a silver Chevrolet Aveo and complainant went outside to speak with him. After a brief conversation, ex-boyfriend left the area.  Girlfriend then went back to her residence in Columbus. Complainant then requested Officer speak with ex-boyfriend and ask him to leave him alone and never return to his residence. Officer called ex-boyfriend, but when Officer identified himself, ex-boyfriend hung up and would not answer Officer's calls.  Officer advised complainant of this and requested he speak with girlfriend and have her come to the police department to fill out a statement. Officer then returned to patrol.		Pending
