8/30/2019 3:08 PM Traffic Stop North Chillicothe St. Officer observed a tan Saturn SUV traveling southbound on North Chillicothe St stop 20-30 feet past the stop bar at the intersection of North Chillicothe and Main St. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle driver, Cheyenne Smith and her passengers.  It was later found none of the vehicle occupants had a valid driver's license.  Cheyenne was later issued a traffic citation for No Valid OL and Traffic Control Devices.  The vehicle was then parked off the roadway so they could wait on a valid ride.   Approved
8/30/2019 8:50 AM Theft - Misdemeanor North Chillicothe St. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to stolen trash cans. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller who advised Officer that someone took her large grey wheeled trash cans that have Local Waster Service on them. Caller advised Officer that they disappeared sometime overnight or early this morning. Officer advised caller that the can would be hard to locate since there are so many in the Village of Plain City. Caller advised she just wanted to make PCPD aware. Officer then returned to patrol.   Approved
8/30/2019 9:02 AM Miscellaneous - Unclassified South Chillicothe St. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to subject that was reportedly taking photographs of the residence yesterday. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller who advised Officer that an unknown male reportedly driving a black Jeep had stopped and taken pictures of his house.  Officer advised caller that it is legal to photograph all things in public as long as they do not trespass on the property.  Caller advised he understood he was just concerned. Officer advised caller that if he sees the vehicle again to give the police department a call. Officer then returned to patrol.   Approved
8/30/2019 10:54 AM Miscellaneous - Unclassified Fairfield Dr. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to report of someone messing with lawn ornaments. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller who advised Officer that someone knocked over her yard sign and an ornamental frog. Caller advised they were not damaged and she does not know who did it. Officer advised caller to keep an eye on them and to call us back if she observes someone messing with them. Officer then returned to patrol.   Approved
8/30/2019 7:51 PM Heroin West Main St. Officer observed a white Dodge Dart parked in front of the listed location. Officer had prior knowledge the vehicle owner, Quentin Snodgres, had active felony warrants out of the Union County Sheriff's Office for Trafficking Heroin x2, Involuntary Manslaughter, and Possession of Heroin. Officer requested UCSO Deputy to assist Officer in an attempt to serve the warrant. Officers later made contact with Quentin where he was placed into custody by UCSO Deputy.  During a probable cause search of the vehicle Officer located two wax paper folds/bags full of a substance consistent with heroin. Quentin was later transported to the Tri-County Jail by UCSO Deputy.   See case for further.   Approved

8/30/2019 10:09 AM Animal Complaint - Other North Chillicothe St. Officer was requested to meet with the Village of Plain City Parks director at Pastime Park in reference to a dog complaint. Upon arrival, Officer met with complainant who advised Officer that a known male keeps letting his dogs run loose in the park. Complainant requested Officer make contact with the canine owner and advise him of the Plain City Ordinance against dogs running loose. Officer then returned to patrol.  Later Officer met with canine owner,  at his residence and advised him of the complaint. He warned Roger of the consequences if the dogs were running loose again. 8/31/2019 7:44 AM Civil Dispute/Standby North Ave. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to her vehicle not being returned. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller who advised Officer that she loaned her vehicle to her estranged husband yesterday and he has not brought it back yet. Officer advised Officer that this is a civil issue, but Officer would attempt to contact Matthew about the car. Officer attempted contact with suspect and left a voice mail. Officer then returned to patrol.  A short time later, Officer received a call back from suspect and advised him of the complaint. Suspect advised he would return the vehicle shortly.  Officer then contacted caller and advised her of the information.   Pending
8/31/2019 8:11 PM Warrant - Misdemeanor Plain City-Georgesville Rd. Officer conducted a routine registration check on a maroon Hyundai 4-door.  Officer learned that the registered owner, Alma Zablocki, had an entered warrant for her arrest out of the Madison County Sheriff's Office. Dispatch confirmed the warrant (FTA-Property Damage). With Officer Hirtzinger as backup, I initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle on the lot of Mike's Pit Stop. Alma was placed into custody without incident. She permitted Officer Hirtzinger to park her vehicle, with the business's permission, on the southwest side of the property. I transported Alma to the Tri-County Regional Jail and released her into their custody. See attached warrant for further information.   Pending
9/1/2019 5:44 PM Well-being Check West Main St. officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a well-being check. Officer was unable to make contact with subject even though her personal vehicle was parked outside the apartment. The only door to gain entry was locked. Officer was able to get in touch with her son who advised he had spoken with his mother at approximately 1500, but would contact her early in the evening to verify she was ok. Officer then returned to patrol.  At 1937 hours subject called Officer and advised she was at home all day watching television, but did not hear knocks or calls.   Pending

9/2/2019 11:19 PM 911 Follow-up North Ave. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow-up. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with caller who advised that her Apple watch called 911 accidentally. After determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.   Pending
9/2/2019 12:09 AM Suspicious Person/Vehicle North Chillicothe St. Officer observed a red Jeep pull into the listed location. Officer made contact with the driver who stated that he had carpooled earlier in the night with his passenger and had returned to the park to drop her off at her vehicle.  Officer advised both parties that the park was closed after midnight. Both subjects stated that they were unaware the park was closed and that they would be leaving. Officer then returned to patrol. Pastime Park Pending

9/2/2019 7:18 PM Telecom Harassment Willowbrook Ct. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to telecom harassment. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with complainant who stated that the mother of his child sent a message that did not have to do with their child and violated their custody agreement. Officer then made contact with subject.  Subject was warned to keep their conversations only in reference to the exchange of their child. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
