7/24/2017	12:30 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	Converse Ave.	Officer was on patrol and observed the interior light on inside a grey Honda Accord. Officer made contact with the vehicle owner who checked the vehicle and found everything to be okay.
7/25/2017	4:21 PM	Parking Complaint	Shepper Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a parking complaint. Upon arrival, Officer observed a camper parked on the street. Officer later made contact with the homeowner who stated that it would be moved when her husband returned home from work.

7/25/2017	6:29 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	East First Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed area in reference to a suspicious person/vehicle. Dispatch advised a white Suburban was sitting at the stop sign for an extended period of time. Upon arrival, Officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
7/25/2017	5:02 PM	Open Container	West Second Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a subject sitting in the parking lot. Officer met with the suspect and his girlfriend. 7/25/2017	2:47 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a truck that had pulled down some power lines inside the park. Upon arrival, Engine 261 was already on the scene. Officer stood by until Ohio Edison arrived on the scene and disconnected the power. The Village Administrator was also on the scene and was aware of the incident.	Pastime Park

Upon arrival, Deputy had caught up to the subject and was walking him back to his cruiser. Officer stood by until presence was no longer needed.

Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the resident and his children about the incident. There were no signs of distress/injuries. Officer left a message for the complainant to contact the Officer if she had any questions.

The caller advised that his dog had chased after a male wearing shorts and a t-shirt that had been running by. Officer later observed an individual jogging in the area and confirmed he had been jogging in the area. Officer advised the caller to ensure his dog stays on the property.
7/27/2017	3:28 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	West Bigelow Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the area in front of the listed location in reference to a suspicious circumstance. Dispatch advised a power box was open on a telephone pole. Upon arrival, Officer located the box, which did not appear to be tampered with.	Nationwide Insurance
7/27/2017	10:47 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	West Ave.	Officer observed a bright arcing light coming from the listed address. An employee from First Energy was already on scene and advised he had contacted the company to respond to fix the problem. Due to the potential for fire/explosion, the Pleasant Valley Fire Department and Officer provided traffic control to prevent vehicles and pedestrians from walking past the area.
7/27/2017	1:52 PM	Road Hazard	SR 161 E	Officer was advised of a tarp in the roadway. Officer located the tarp, removed it from the roadway and discarded it properly.
7/27/2017	4:55 PM	Traffic Stop	West Main St.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a blue Saturn Aura. Arian Bethel was issued a citation for Non Compliance Suspension, License Forfeiture Suspension and No Valid Operator's License.
7/27/2017	6:09 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	West Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed area for an animal complaint. Officer made contact with the caller who advised he was walking his canine when he met another dog owner walking their canine. There were words exchanged between the owners.  The complainant was advised to refrain from using harsh terminology towards another citizen. The complainant advised he wanted the incident documented.
7/27/2017	6:29 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Buggywhip Ln.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a Dalmatian running freely in the caller’s back yard. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with caller who advised the Dalmatian did not belong to her nor did she know who it belonged to. Officer made contact with the canine owner and advised he fix the gap in the fence and to keep a better eye on his canine.
7/27/2017	8:47 PM	Traffic Stop	West Ave.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a bronze Jeep Grand Cherokee. Landon Griffith was issued a citation for Non Compliance Suspension and No Valid Operator's License.
7/28/2017	7:05 PM	Driving Complaint	US Rt. 42 N	Officer was dispatched to the listed area in reference to a driving complaint on a van. The driver of the van had pulled to the side of the road and flagged Officer down. After speaking with the driver, Officer advised that he make sure he drives safely and to think about other motorists on the roadway.
7/28/2017	7:10 PM	Drunk	East Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a female who fell. Upon arrival, Officer located the female who was intoxicated and had fallen but declined a medic. Officer then spoke to her husband who advised he was going to watch over her. The female was warned for disorderly conduct and advised of the possible consequences if this were to happen again.

Ceira Cruz was issued a traffic citation for Non Compliance Suspension, No Valid Operator's License, and License Forfeiture Suspension. Ciera Cruz was subsequently charged with Receiving Stolen Property.
7/29/2017	7:15 AM	Bad Checks	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference bad checks. Officer made contact with an employee that stated an individual passed a check for $74.36, and a check for $50.00 that were returned. Investigation pending.	Mike's Pit Stop
7/30/2017	11:09 PM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. After speaking with both parties, both stated the dispute was strictly verbal and they were now calm.
7/30/2017	1:49 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	Wellsley Way	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to suspicious circumstances. The caller stated that she heard what sounded like someone trying to open her front door. Upon arrival, Officer checked the area but was unable to locate anything out of the ordinary. The caller thanked the Officer for checking and his time.

7/30/2017	5:30 PM	Assist Other Agency	Butler Ave.	Officers were dispatched to the listed area for a noise complaint, possibly gun shots. Officers patrolled the area and identified the shots were coming from outside the village limits. Upon request of the Union County Sheriff's Office, Officers checked and made sure that they had a proper backstop and no one was operating a weapon under disability.
