Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the individual who agreed to go to the hospital voluntarily. Officer stood by until Medic 261 arrived and transported the individual to the hospital.
3/13/2017	5:12 PM	Vandalism	Dogwood Ct.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to vandalism that had occurred. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the callers and they stated that someone had egged their car. After investigation, all parties were advised to no longer have any contact with each other or risk being charged.
3/13/2017	4:51 PM	Theft - Felony	Willowbend Cir.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft. Officer made contact with the resident and his family. They stated that an individual had taken advantage of the resident. They stated that approximately $55,000 had been given to the individual since 2014. Officer advised them to call the credit card companies and advise them what transpired. Investigation pending.
3/14/2017	11:50 AM	Shooting	West Main St.	Officer responded to the listed address on the report of shots fired. The caller advised that he heard a shot fired at his neighbor's house. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the neighbor and his wife and was advised of what happened. He said that his wife was going to take him to the hospital.
3/14/2017	4:40 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Dogwood Ct.	Officer was on patrol when flagged down by the complainant. She advised her son was walking into his house after school, when a male juvenile in a vehicle began cursing at him. After investigation, Officer made contact with the juvenile and his father at their residence. He advised he would contact the complainant's son to apologize about the misunderstanding. Officer made contact with the complainant via telephone and explained the misunderstanding.
3/15/2017	12:13 AM	Disabled Vehicle	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was on patrol and observed a white box truck at a complete stop with its hazard lights activated. Officer made contact with the driver who advised a white minivan had run the red light at the intersection causing him to brake immediately. He advised he thought his load shifted and was checking it for any possible damage. He advised everything was okay with the vehicle and his load.
3/15/2017	12:55 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	West First Ave.	Officer was met at the police department in reference to losing a written prescription for their daughter. She completed a written statement explaining the situation. Officer advised that a report would be on file if the doctor's office needed it.

3/15/2017	4:26 PM	Driving Complaint	Fairfield Dr.	While at the police department, Officer received a call from the complainant. He stated that every day a tan Dodge pickup "peels" out and speeds every day. Officer made contact with the owner and advised him of the complaint. 3/15/2017	7:54 PM	Well-being Check	Doe St.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a well being check. The caller was concerned his father was not getting the proper medical attention he needs. Upon arrival Officer learned the father is living at an assisted living facility. Officer then made contact with the caller and advised him his father is getting proper medical attention.
3/16/2017	5:12 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Friend St.	Officer made contact with Jonathan Alder Speech Pathologist, via public service. Due to the school being outside the jurisdiction, she was referred to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.	Plain City Police Department
3/16/2017	7:34 PM	Neighbor Dispute	North Ave.	Officers met with two individuals at the police department in reference to a verbal altercation. They advised that when they were leaving the listed location, two neighbors came outside and began to yell at them. Officers spoke with the neighbors about their actions and they were warned of the possible consequences. All parties were advised to ignore each other to prevent further altercations.
3/17/2017	5:10 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a found dog. Upon arrival Officer spoke with the caller who advised he had found a Yellow Labrador and placed it in his backyard. Officer then made contact with the dog owner. The dog was released to the owner, who was advised to keep better control of his animals because this has occurred several times in the past.
3/17/2017	8:02 AM	Assault - Misdemeanor	West Main St.	Officer met with the resident and her son. They advised of an incident that occurred on the school bus during pickup hours at the listed location. After investigation the juvenile will be charged with assault in the Madison County Juvenile Court.	Daily Needs Assistance
3/17/2017	1:51 PM	Unruly	Friend St.	Officer met with the resident and her son at the police department in reference to him being suspended from school and being unruly at home. Officer spoke with him at length and informed him of the consequences he could face if his behavior does not improve. He committed to making better choices and abiding by his mother's rules. 3/17/2017	5:50 PM	Recovered/Found Property	South Chillicothe St.	Officer was contacted in reference to a bicycle on the sidewalk area for several hours. Upon arrival Officer observed a bicycle lying on the sewer drain near the sidewalk and checked the area for anything out of the ordinary, everything checked okay. Officer took the bicycle back to the Police Department as found property.
3/17/2017	7:31 PM	Non-Injury Crash	West Main St.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a non-injury accident. Dispatch received two calls that a green pickup had driven off the roadway, over the curb and struck a fire hydrant. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the parties involved. The driver appeared to be having a medical episode and was transported to the hospital.
3/17/2017	8:48 PM	Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival Officer spoke with the complainant who advised a female had taken his black Ford Ranger without permission. Officer advised the female to not drive the complainant's truck without direct permission and of the consequences if she did.
3/17/2017	1:14 PM	911 Unknown	Village Blvd.	Officer responded to the listed location on a 911 hang-up. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller, who advised that everything was fine. 3/18/2017	1:57 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	West Ave.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to the homeowner hearing strange noises coming from their backyard. Upon arrival Officers searched the backyard and found nothing out of the ordinary. Officers made contact with the complainant, and advised her of the findings.
3/18/2017	7:24 AM	911 Follow-up	Carriage Dr.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow-up. Dispatch advised the homeowner accidently dial 911. Upon arrival Officer spoke with the homeowner, who advised the call was accidental and everything was ok. Officer determined everything to be fine.

3/18/2017	2:15 PM	Assist Other Agency	Lewis Cir.	Officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff’s Office to make a message delivery in reference to a failure to pay. Officer made contact with the subject and advised him of the incident. The subject drove back to the fuel station and paid with no issues.
3/18/2017	5:33 PM	Traffic Stop	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a green Nissan Pathfinder. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle. Patrick Cooper was subsequently issued a citation for No Valid Operator's License and driving under an Administrative License Suspension.
3/18/2017	7:21 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	East Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to possible drug activity. Officer made contact with the caller. Officer searched the area and was unable to find anything out of the ordinary. Investigation pending.
3/19/2017	7:23 PM	Traffic Stop	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a grey Honda Odyssey. Officer initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver/owner. Joyce Martinez was subsequently issued a citation for No Valid Operator's License and two Non Compliance Suspensions.
3/19/2017	12:03 AM	Assist Other Agency	Friend St.	Officer was met at the Police Department by Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper of Post 80. Officer stood by until Trooper completed his paperwork and the arrestees ride arrived.	Plain City Police Department
3/19/2017	3:49 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Ave.	Officer went to the listed location in reference to property damage. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the property owner. She stated that she was cleaning out one of the apartments and the previous tenant left large items inside. Officer advised her to no longer throw anything over the rails to avoid possibly injuring a tenant or property. Officer also checked for damage to any nearby vehicles.
3/19/2017	6:02 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference drugs being located. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the property owner who stated she found prescription medication in the apartment they were cleaning out. Officer then properly disposed of the container.
