3/21/2017	2:22 AM	Assist Other Agency	SR 161 W	Officer responded to the listed location at the request of the Union County Sheriff’s Office in reference to an injury crash. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the driver who was uninjured. Officer stood by until the arrival of Union County Sheriff's Deputy.
3/21/2017	9:13 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	North Chillicothe St.	Officer observed a vehicle parked diagonally across the gravel lane. Officer initiated a traffic stop with it and made contact with the driver and passenger. Officer made contact with passenger's mother. They were advised to take their actions somewhere else in the future and the driver was warned for driving through the grass.	Pastime Park

Upon arrival Officer observed a silver Hyundai Sonata parked in the lot. Officer made contact with the driver and passenger and determined everything checked okay.	Darby Apartments
3/22/2017	11:51 PM	Assist Other Agency	US Rt. 42 S	Officer responded to the area at the request of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office in reference to an attempt to locate out of a suicide threat. Officer checked the area but was unable to locate the vehicle.
3/22/2017	8:20 AM	Missing Juvenile	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a missing juvenile. Upon arrival Officer met with the father who advised that his daughter was supposed to spend the night with a friend but when he went to the apartment was told she had left yesterday with a friend. While speaking with the father, the daughter arrived. Officer ensured that she was okay and spoke to her about responsibly letting her father know her whereabouts and possible consequences for not doing so.
3/22/2017	11:15 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was met on station in reference to suspicious circumstances. He advised that he had received a call from a man claiming to be with disconnection services for General Electric. The man claimed that the business owner owed $2,029.95 and that he must pay today or power would be shut off. The business owner then contacted General Electric on the phone number on his monthly bill and was advised that his account was current and that he owed no money. 3/22/2017	1:20 PM	Recovered/Found Property	West Main St.	Officer was flagged down by a member of the Village Street Department who had found some miscellaneous property in the alley. Officer made contact with the property owner to return the property.
3/22/2017	1:25 PM	Disabled Vehicle	US Rt. 42 N	Officer was dispatched to the listed area in reference to a disabled vehicle. Upon arrival Officer found a blue Ford Taurus stopped in the turn lane. Officer made contact with the owner and her father. The vehicle was pushed to the roadside where it was no longer a hazard until was later towed.
3/22/2017	3:52 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	South Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, Officer met with an employee. She advised that over the past few months someone has been taking several items. Officer offered tips on extra security measures and to contact the police department of any future incidents. 3/22/2017	7:01 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	Shepper Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious circumstance. Upon arrival Officer met with the homeowner who advised someone was inside of his garage yesterday. Officer spoke to the resident about security options and to contact the police any time he notices anything out of the ordinary.
3/23/2017	3:11 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	John St.	Officer met with residents at their residence in reference to a scam. She advised that she was scammed out of approximately $8,723.00. She received a call a few days ago from a subject. He advised her that her grandson was involved in an accident and that she needed to send money. She was able to make contact with her grandson and learned that she had been scammed. Officer advised of steps to take in the event of any future incidents and also provided the Attorney General's Office contact information.
3/23/2017	1:00 PM	Well-being Check	Jackson St.	Officer was requested to make contact with an individual at the listed location. Franklin County Child Services requested a well being check on the individual and her child. Officer made contact with the individual's mother who advised she and her child do not live at the listed location any longer. She did not know where they could be staying nor could provide a phone number or any other way of contacting her. Officer contacted Franklin County Child Services advising her of the findings.

3/24/2017	2:15 AM	Suspicious Person	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was checking the listed location and found a suspicious male. Officer made contact with the male and advised him that the park was closed at midnight and gave warning for trespassing.	Pastime Park

Columbus Police advised a resident had been involved in a vehicle accident and requested Officer to make contact with him. 3/25/2017	11:36 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person/vehicle. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the driver, who advised he was delivering furniture but could not fit his Freightliner Truck down a side road to get to the destination. He advised he had to rent a U-haul and transfer the furniture from the tractor trailer to the U-haul. Officer determined everything to be fine.	Dings and Dents

3/25/2017	11:46 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	West Main St.	Officer observed a red Volkswagen pull in and park in the listed location’s lot. Officer then made contact with the driver and his passenger. The driver stated that he had pulled into the listed location to look up directions on his GPS. 3/26/2017	3:31 PM	Well-being Check	North Chillicothe St.	Officers received a direct complaint in reference to a well being check at the listed location. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the individual and his daughter. The individual stated he was doing well and seemed to be fine. The daughter stated she would contact the police if anything changed.
3/26/2017	9:06 AM	Disabled Vehicle	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a disabled vehicle. Upon arrival Officer met with the homeowner who advised a white 1988 Chevrolet broke down in the alley beside his residence and he no longer wants the vehicle owner or their car on his property. Upon speaking with the vehicle owner, they advised they would be getting a tow truck immediately and have the vehicle removed. They were advised of the consequences of leaving the vehicle on the property and the possibility of the homeowner having it towed.
3/26/2017	10:05 AM	Missing Person	Fairfield Dr.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a missing person. Upon arrival Officer met with the caller, who advised her mother has been missing for two days and was last seen at the listed location before leaving for a doctor’s appointment. A short time later the mother was found safe.

Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the individual who agreed to go to the hospital voluntarily. Officer stood by until Medic 261 arrived and transported the individual to the hospital.
3/13/2017	5:12 PM	Vandalism	Dogwood Ct.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to vandalism that had occurred. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the callers and they stated that someone had egged their car. After investigation, all parties were advised to no longer have any contact with each other or risk being charged.
3/13/2017	4:51 PM	Theft - Felony	Willowbend Cir.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft. Officer made contact with the resident and his family. They stated that an individual had taken advantage of the resident. They stated that approximately $55,000 had been given to the individual since 2014. Officer advised them to call the credit card companies and advise them what transpired. Investigation pending.
3/14/2017	11:50 AM	Shooting	West Main St.	Officer responded to the listed address on the report of shots fired. The caller advised that he heard a shot fired at his neighbor's house. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the neighbor and his wife and was advised of what happened. He said that his wife was going to take him to the hospital.
3/14/2017	4:40 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Dogwood Ct.	Officer was on patrol when flagged down by the complainant. She advised her son was walking into his house after school, when a male juvenile in a vehicle began cursing at him. After investigation, Officer made contact with the juvenile and his father at their residence. He advised he would contact the complainant's son to apologize about the misunderstanding. Officer made contact with the complainant via telephone and explained the misunderstanding.
3/15/2017	12:13 AM	Disabled Vehicle	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was on patrol and observed a white box truck at a complete stop with its hazard lights activated. Officer made contact with the driver who advised a white minivan had run the red light at the intersection causing him to brake immediately. He advised he thought his load shifted and was checking it for any possible damage. He advised everything was okay with the vehicle and his load.
3/15/2017	12:55 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	West First Ave.	Officer was met at the police department in reference to losing a written prescription for their daughter. She completed a written statement explaining the situation. Officer advised that a report would be on file if the doctor's office needed it.

He stated that every day a tan Dodge pickup "peels" out and speeds every day. Officer made contact with the owner and advised him of the complaint. 3/15/2017	7:54 PM	Well-being Check	Doe St.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a well being check. The caller was concerned his father was not getting the proper medical attention he needs. Upon arrival Officer learned the father is living at an assisted living facility. Officer then made contact with the caller and advised him his father is getting proper medical attention.

3/16/2017	7:34 PM	Neighbor Dispute	North Ave.	Officers met with two individuals at the police department in reference to a verbal altercation. They advised that when they were leaving the listed location, two neighbors came outside and began to yell at them. Officers spoke with the neighbors about their actions and they were warned of the possible consequences. All parties were advised to ignore each other to prevent further altercations.
3/17/2017	5:10 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a found dog. Upon arrival Officer spoke with the caller who advised he had found a Yellow Labrador and placed it in his backyard. Officer then made contact with the dog owner. The dog was released to the owner, who was advised to keep better control of his animals because this has occurred several times in the past.

They advised of an incident that occurred on the school bus during pickup hours at the listed location. Officer spoke with him at length and informed him of the consequences he could face if his behavior does not improve. He committed to making better choices and abiding by his mother's rules. 3/17/2017	5:50 PM	Recovered/Found Property	South Chillicothe St.	Officer was contacted in reference to a bicycle on the sidewalk area for several hours. Upon arrival Officer observed a bicycle lying on the sewer drain near the sidewalk and checked the area for anything out of the ordinary, everything checked okay. Officer took the bicycle back to the Police Department as found property.
3/17/2017	7:31 PM	Non-Injury Crash	West Main St.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a non-injury accident. Dispatch received two calls that a green pickup had driven off the roadway, over the curb and struck a fire hydrant. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the parties involved. The driver appeared to be having a medical episode and was transported to the hospital.
3/17/2017	8:48 PM	Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival Officer spoke with the complainant who advised a female had taken his black Ford Ranger without permission. Officer advised the female to not drive the complainant's truck without direct permission and of the consequences if she did.

Upon arrival Officers searched the backyard and found nothing out of the ordinary. Officers made contact with the complainant, and advised her of the findings.
3/18/2017	7:24 AM	911 Follow-up	Carriage Dr.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow-up. Dispatch advised the homeowner accidently dial 911. Upon arrival Officer spoke with the homeowner, who advised the call was accidental and everything was ok. Officer determined everything to be fine.

Officer made contact with the subject and advised him of the incident. The subject drove back to the fuel station and paid with no issues.
3/18/2017	5:33 PM	Traffic Stop	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a green Nissan Pathfinder. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle. Patrick Cooper was subsequently issued a citation for No Valid Operator's License and driving under an Administrative License Suspension.
3/18/2017	7:21 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	East Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to possible drug activity. Officer made contact with the caller. Officer searched the area and was unable to find anything out of the ordinary. Investigation pending.
3/19/2017	7:23 PM	Traffic Stop	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a grey Honda Odyssey. Officer initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver/owner. Joyce Martinez was subsequently issued a citation for No Valid Operator's License and two Non Compliance Suspensions.

3/19/2017	3:49 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Ave.	Officer went to the listed location in reference to property damage. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the property owner. She stated that she was cleaning out one of the apartments and the previous tenant left large items inside. Officer advised her to no longer throw anything over the rails to avoid possibly injuring a tenant or property. Officer also checked for damage to any nearby vehicles.

Upon arrival Officer made contact with the property owner who stated she found prescription medication in the apartment they were cleaning out. Officer then properly disposed of the container.
