Officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff's Office to back up a unit at the listed location. Sheriff's Deputy was out with a suspicious vehicle/ person and requested back up while he searched the vehicle. Upon arrival the Deputy had the suspect in custody. Officer stood by while the Deputy searched the vehicle. When assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a property damage crash. Upon arrival, Officers met with the caller. He stated that he saw a branch fall on an individual's vehicle. Officers then made contact with the vehicle owner and the homeowner. Insurance information was gathered.

Officer was met on station by a resident. He advised that in the last several days he has found multiple nails in his driveway. He also advised that he stepped in a fresh pile of dog feces in his front yard. The resident wanted the Police Department to be aware.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to littering complaint. Upon arrival, Officer met with the business owner. He advised that, sometime over the weekend, unknown subject(s) filled his dumpster with trash. He found an individual's name on an item. Officer made contact with the individual a short time later and advised her of the incident. Officer advised her to tell the prior roommate, that this was not permitted and offered other solutions for the future.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute that occurred at the listed location. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller. She advised that her boyfriend, whom she has ceased a relationship with, will not leave the residence. Officer advised her that she would need to have him evicted due to them cohabitating together for the past month. Officer spoke with the boyfriend at the residence about the incident. Officer advised that they both needed to remain calm and walk away from any confrontations. Officer determined everything to be fine.

Officer met with an individual the police department. She advised that she went to get a new phone at Verizon Wireless and was advised that she had an outstanding account balance over $500.00. They would not provide her any of the account information, but advised that the account has been dormant since 2008. She stated that she has been a victim of identity theft in the past and thinks that this may be associated with it. Officer referred her to the Attorney General's Office for assistance with Identity Theft.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, Officer met with the complainant. He stated that a male individual and himself were involved in a verbal altercation. This escalated and became physical when the male pushed the complainant into the front door, in an attempt to remove him from the residence. John also stated that he felt threatened by Gary Brown because he yelled at him that he needed to leave. After further investigation Officers placed Gary Brown under arrest for Assault due to him attempting to cause physical harm.

Suspicious Circumstances
North Ave.
Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to suspicious circumstances. The caller advised that on Sunday night she was laying in bed when she heard a noise outside her window. When she turned her light on there was a loud crash directly outside her window. The next day she noticed multiple items had been moved and were directly outside her window. Officer checked the area but other than the displaced items mentioned, nothing unusual was observed. The caller requested extra patrol of the area.

Officer was met on station by an individual. He advised that he had recently discovered a fraudulent charge on his bank debit card. He advised he found a pending charge from Home Depot in the amount of $1746.11. He found that the Home Depot was in Pennsylvania and reported that he did not make this transaction and was still in possession of his card. He advised that his credit card company advised him to file a Police Report on this matter while they conducted an investigation.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a dispute. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the apartment manager. He stated that an individual was dumping trash into the dumpsters at the listed location. Officer then made contact with the individual and advised not to dump trash there again.

Suspicious Vehicle

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The caller advised dispatch that the vehicle had been moving around parking repeatedly. Officers found a large white commercial-style van parked near the listed location and made contact with the driver. He stated that he was waiting for a friend to pack her clothing up. He was advised to park at that residence in the future.

Plain City-Georgesville Rd.
Officer was requested by the Madison County Sheriff's Office to back up a Deputy at the listed address. The Sheriff's Deputy had responded to an assault at the address and learned that the suspect was inside the residence and possibly had a handgun. Upon arrival with backup, Officers assisted with a search of the residence and a second residence but was not able to locate the suspect. At this time no charges were to be filed on the suspect, so all units returned to patrol.

Officers were dispatched to the police department in reference to take a non-injury accident. Upon arrival Officer met with the complainant who stated she had parked her white, GMC Terrain and she returned to her residence to find her vehicle was not there. She learned that her cousin, took the vehicle without permission. Upon closer inspection of the vehicle she observed a large dent. She advised she only wanted a report for insurance purposes.

Officer was dispatched to the retention pond behind the listed location in reference to three juveniles that were standing on the ice on the pond. Upon arrival to the area, Officer located three juveniles matching the description given by the caller, leaving the area of the pond. Officer stopped and spoke with them about the ice and advised them of the dangers of walking on the ice and also what could happen if they fell through the ice. After speaking with them they agreed that it was not a good idea. After speaking with them Officer contacted their mothers, via phone, and advised them of the incident.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a runaway juvenile. The caller advised that her son was having visitation at his father's residence. The juvenile left the residence in the early morning and went to a friend's house and called his mother to pick him up. Upon arrival with back up, Officer made contact with all of the parties at length and reminded to abide by the court ordered visitation.

Officer was requested to assist the Union County Sheriff's Office with a Domestic Dispute. Upon arrival Officer observed a male individual having a verbal dispute with his sons and his daughter. Officer separated the parties and diffused the situation until the Sheriff's Deputies and Sergeant arrived and assistance was no longer needed.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person complaint. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the employees of the listed location. They stated that an unknown male subject entered the bank, took a cup of coffee and left without speaking to anyone. They requested extra patrol in the area.

Officer responded to the listed area in reference to a littering complaint. The caller stated that he was traveling behind a silver Toyota Camry when the driver threw a large cup out of his window nearly striking his vehicle. Upon arrival Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver. Adam Stritenberger was issued a citation for littering out of a motor vehicle. He apologized for his actions.

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a grey Jeep Cherokee. Officer learned the registered owner was under suspension and initiated a traffic stop. John Mullins was subsequently issued a citation for Non Compliance Suspension and No Valid Operator’s License.

Union County Sheriff's Sergeant and Deputy advised that Kirby's tow truck driver had an active warrant. Kirby's then arrived and once confirmed Sheriff's Deputy placed the driver in custody for an active warrant.

Officer observed a black Mustang parked on the south side of the listed location. Officer noticed two males sitting in the front seats. They advised that they work at the listed location and were parked there because they were trying to find a friend's house to go to for the New Year's celebration. Officer determined everything to be fine.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a failure to pay. Officer made contact with the gas station owner. The total amount of loss was $38.26 of fuel. Upon investigation, Officer found a resident of the previously listed plate. Union County Deputy made contact with the driver. The business owner advised later that he did return and pay for the gas.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious circumstance. Dispatch advised a foot print was located on the front glass door to the listed location, and thought someone might have tried to kick the door down. Upon arrival Officer met with the homeowner. Officer observed a shoe print, but did not observe any damage to the door, or anything else out of the ordinary. The homeowner wanted this incident documented in case of any further suspicious circumstances.

Officer was met by an individual at the Police Department in reference to found property. He reported that he found a spoon like item in the listed locations parking lot which he believed was for drug use. He stated that he did not want to leave it there in case someone attempted to use it. Officer then took the item and disposed of it.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person complaint. Upon arrival Officer made contact with an employee of the listed location. She stated that a male subject entered the listed location and requested she exit the building to assist him with his disabled vehicle. She advised the male subject to wait in his vehicle until Officer arrival. Once the male subject exited the business he started his vehicle and left the area. Investigation pending.

Officer was on patrol and observed a blue 2017 Honda Accord traveling northbound on listed street. The vehicle did not have any tail lights and the rear bumper was partially attached dragging behind the vehicle. Officer initiated a traffic stop and spoke with the driver/registered owner of the vehicle Samantha Graessle. Samantha Graessle was cited for Operating Vehicle Intoxicated, Super Concentration Operating Vehicle Intoxicated, Driving Unsafe Vehicle and No Tail Lights. Samantha was released to a valid driver.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to an animal complaint. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the caller. He believed that they had moved out and were not returning and that there was a dog left inside. Upon investigation Officer found the residence appeared to be vacant with no dog inside.

The caller advised that one of the homeowner's dogs had been out overnight and asked the Officer to check on the resident. Officer met with the resident and she stated she was fine. Officer determined everything to be okay.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. The complainant advised that the apartment below her have been arguing for several hours. Upon arrival, Officer could hear loud music coming from the apartment from the balcony. We also could hear a female singing. The female advised that she was not arguing, but just singing and dancing. Officers asked if there was anyone else inside the apartment, which she advised that her boyfriend. Officer advised to speak with him to ensure that everything was okay. He opened up the bedroom door and was belligerent. Officers were able to calm both of them down and warned for Disorderly Conduct.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. The complainant advised that the residents were arguing again. Upon arrival, Officers could hear a male and a female yelling inside the residence. Officers advised them several times to stop arguing and yelling. When both would not stop arguing, Jeannie K. Chambers and Rasad S. Morrison were placed into custody. Jeannie K. Chambers were charged with Persistent Disorderly Conduct and Obstructing Official Business. Rasad S. Morrison was charged with Persistent Disorderly Conduct.
