Officer responded to the area of Lafayette-Plain City Rd just south of Perry Pike, at the request of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, in reference to a suspicious person complaint. Upon Officer’s arrival, a Deputy was speaking with the male subject.  Deputy arranged for another Deputy to transport subject to his residence.
12/11/2017	5:31 PM	Injury Crash	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the intersection of SR 161 and US 42 in reference an injury crash. Officer made contact with the defendant, Cynthia Pezzot.  Officer also made contact with operator of the other vehicle and a witness. All parties advised that Cynthia continued westbound on SR 161 disregarding the red stop light at US RT 42. Cynthia was subsequently cited for Red Light Violation.
12/11/2017	12:12 PM	Assist Other Agency	Willowbend Cir.	Officer was dispatched to the area of US42 in reference to a pursuit involving a unit from the Ohio State Highway Patrol (West Jefferson Post) pursuing a maroon Ford 4 door. While Officer was chasing the suspect he was apprehended by canine Evan and his handler, Deputy Lisska (MCSO). The suspect, Soloman Lane, was placed into custody by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and transported to Tri-County Jail. Officer checked the area where the suspect drove and did not observe any damage.
12/12/2017	2:46 PM	Non-Injury Crash/Private	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a non-injury property crash. Officer made contact with vehicle operator.  Subject advised that she was getting gas at the westernmost gas pump and when backing up, she struck the white post showing the prices of gasoline. Officer made contact with Marathon employee, that stated the damage was minimal to the post and did not believe it would need to be pursued any further. 12/13/2017	9:13 PM	Trespasser	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft in progress. Upon Officers arrival, he met with the manager who advised an older white male, possibly in his 60's, entered the store and appeared suspicious. The male grabbed a bottle of Tums and put it down his pants. The manager witnessed this, he confronted the male, who turned over the Tums. After telling the gentleman multiple times to leave and calling the police, the male left the store at a high rate of speed. Jacob stated the male did not take anything from the store, but wanted the Officer to make contact with the male and advise him he is not allowed on the property.	Dollar General Store
12/13/2017	1:50 PM	Parking Complaint	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was met on station by complainant who advised that the customers at the Plain City Lanes are parking on the north side of the Lanes building in a line all the way to First Flight Auto Sales. By doing so, this blocks access to complainant’s business and his vehicles and his customers can not get to or out of the business.  Complainant requested Officer make contact with the Lanes and advised them of the issue. Officer made contact with manager at Plain City Lanes and advised him of the issue.  Manager advised that he would try to keep that area open in the future.	Plain City Lanes
12/14/2017	6:27 PM	Non-Injury Hitskip	West Main St.	Officer received an anonymous complaint that a vehicle drove through the barricade at the listed location and it was lying in the roadway.  Officer learned that the driver involved was Jordan Doneyhue. Jordan was subsequently issued a citation for Stopping After Accident-Private Property and released.	Eskimo Queen
12/14/2017	3:41 PM	Telecom Harassment	Willowbend Cir.	Officer met with two subjects at the listed location in reference to a telecommunications harassment complaint.  All parties understand not to contact each other.
12/15/2017	2:42 PM	Parking Complaint	Maple St.	Officer observed a vehicle parked on the southbound side of the roadway. The vehicle was in violation of (PCPD ORD 303.09). Officer advised subject to move the vehicle off the roadway as soon as possible or he would be issued a citation.
12/16/2017	7:22 PM	Assist Other Agency	Gay St.	Officer was requested by MCDOJFS to stand-by while she attempted to make contact with the parent/guardian of two children. Officer made contact with subject. Subject advised she was going be taking care of both children.
12/17/2017	7:34 PM	Drunk Driver	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was advised by UCSO dispatch of a Black Ford Thunderbird driving erratically. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver Rebecca J. Adkins. Rebecca was subsequently cited for OVI (ORC 4511.19A1A) and OVI (4511.19A1H). Rebecca was also issued a criminal summons for Open Container.
12/17/2017	12:20 PM	Recovered/Found Property	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was met on station by subject. Subject advised she found a black ZTE cellular phone in a red case at the corner of Converse Avenue and North Chillicothe Street. The phone was powered on but requires a pass code to access. The Officer took the phone and is located at the police department pending return to the owner.
12/17/2017	9:12 AM	Civil Dispute/Standby	Converse Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a civil standby.  Officer stood by until his assistance was no longer needed, then returned to patrol.
12/17/2017	5:22 AM	Domestic Dispute	Gay St.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Both parties stated that they agreed to remain calm and separate for the rest of the night.

12/5/2017	5:50 PM	Disabled Vehicle	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer observed a disabled vehicle and made contact with the operator of the disabled vehicle who advised she was lost. Directions were provided to subject back to her residence. Officer then returned to patrol.
12/5/2017	4:00 PM	Recovered/Found Property	North Ave.	Officer was met at the police department by four juveniles. Officer was advised that they located a driver's license.  Contact was made with license owner.  The license was destroyed as the owner had obtained a new one.
12/5/2017	5:31 AM	Road Hazard	West Main St.	Officer observed that a bench at the rear of the listed location fell over onto the street. Officer moved the bench and placed it back on the property there. Officer then returned to patrol.	Tavern 161
12/6/2017	5:58 PM	Harassment/Menacing	Carriage Dr.	Officer took a direct complaint at the police department reference a harassment complaint. Officer contacted subject and advised to no longer have any further contact with the complainant or his family.  Subject stated that she understood. Officer then returned to patrol.
12/6/2017	12:22 AM	DOC	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched area of 262 West Main Street (Studio on Main Hair Salon), in reference to male beating on the door yelling. Officer found a subject screaming to let him in and beating on the door. The male, Nicholas Ceballos, was too intoxicated to tell the Officer where he was supposed to be staying. Nicholas was placed in Custody for Disorderly Conduct.  Nicholas was later transported to Tri-County by Officer without incident.

12/9/2017	8:07 PM	Assist Other Agency	Middleburg-Plain City Rd.	UCSO requested Officer check on disabled vehicle. Officer stood by until Deputy arrived on the scene. Once assistance was no longer need, Officer returned to patrol.
12/9/2017	4:03 PM	Domestic Dispute	Cooper Ln.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. All parties agreed to discuss the event inside their house. After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.

Officer made contact with subjects who were all advised to no longer be on the premises of this residence, or risk being charged.

Officer made contact with complainant who stated her son's vehicle had been egged overnight. Complainant was advised to contact the department if she learned anything further. Officer then returned to patrol.
12/10/2017	6:04 PM	Driving Complaint	SR 161 W	Officer was advised of a driving complaint. Officer located the vehicle and made a traffic stop. The driver advised that he was lost and was attempting to engage the GPS on the phone in order to navigate home. After giving him a warning and advising him on safe cell phone use, Officer returned to patrol.
12/10/2017	1:23 PM	CIT Incident	Country View Ln.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a female that was screaming and arguing with her mother and grandparents. Officers made contact with the listed parties. After speaking with subject she advised that she was not suicidal but still need help with some mental health issues.

Officer made contact with the driver and advised him that he needed to move his vehicle. After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.

Officer made contact with complainant who stated that items had been taken from his apartment without permission. Officer made contact with subject and stood by as subject returned the items. 11/29/2017	8:57 AM	Non-Injury Crash	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to North Chillicothe Street at US 42 on a non-injury crash. Officer met with both drivers.  After obtaining photos and exchanging information with both drivers, Officer returned to patrol.
11/30/2017	5:31 AM	Well-being Check	West Main St.	Officer was flagged down by the driver delivering papers for the Columbus Dispatch. He requested Officer make a well-being check at the listed location. Officer attempted to make contact with the homeowner, but was unable to make contact with anyone. Officer was advised subject is staying with a relative.
11/30/2017	8:12 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	Village Blvd.	Officer received a complaint advising a male subject may have been sleeping at the property without permission.  Officer made contact with building owner and awaited for his arrival to unlock the building.  Officer made contact with subject occupying the building. Subject was told that he had to vacate the building and also remove his property and his vehicles and return the key to the building owner.	House of Martial Arts
11/30/2017	9:10 AM	Assist Other Agency	US Rt. 33	Officer responded as backup for the Union County Sheriff’s Office to US 33 just west of SR 161.   Officer returned to patrol, once assistance was no longer needed.

Officer located the dog and with assistance from neighbors, Officer was able to get the dog secured in an unlocked storage shed. Owner was given a verbal warning for Dog Running at Large.

Dispatch advised a lost male in his seventies was found by a resident at the listed location. Officer observed a male subject who appeared to be confused, and when asked, subject stated he was lost. Once subject was released to his son, Officer then returned to patrol.

12/3/2017	2:11 AM	Animal Complaint - Other	Perry Pk.	Officer observed a loose husky at the intersection of Perry Pike and Dorvic Drive. Officer made contact with dog’s owner who had reported the dog missing earlier in the night. Owner was warned of the possible consequences if the dog continued to run loose.
12/3/2017	7:00 AM	Traffic Stop	West Ave.	Officer initiated a traffic stop with a vehicle at US42.  Officer made contact with, Tyler R. Rutter who was suspended.  Tyler was subsequently issued a citation for ALS Suspension and No Valid Operator’s License.  His vehicle was also impounded and towed to the Plain City Police Dept. impound lot.
12/3/2017	8:28 AM	Fire Support	Lewis Cir.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location reference a lift assist. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller.  Officer then attempted to use the master key, however was unable to use this key to open the front and rear doors. Officer requested Pleasant Valley Colony Fire Department to assist with entry into the residence. Officer advised property manager about the box key issue.

12/3/2017	12:08 PM	Traffic Stop	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer initiated a traffic stop on a blue GMC truck Officer made contact with the owner, Michael Strickland. He was subsequently issued a citation for Expired Tags. The vehicle was also impounded due to the longevity of the registration being expired and towed to the PCPD Impound Lot.
