Amber Jarvis was placed in custody for Domestic Violence and for a warrant out of Marysville Municipal Court for Failure to Appear/Hit Skip Crash and later transported to Tri-County Jail.
8/8/2016	8:56 AM	Child Abuse	Converse Ave.	Officer was contacted by phone in reference to possible ongoing child abuse. This incident will be forwarded to Union County Department of Jobs and Family Services.
8/8/2016	12:50 PM	Assist Other Unit	Industrial Pkwy.	Officer was dispatched to listed location to assist the Union County Sheriff's Office search for a suspect out of the theft of a quad runner in the area. Upon arrival with back up, Deputy had already apprehended the suspect. When assistance was no longer needed, Officers left the area.

8/9/2016	10:44 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to the area of the restrooms at the park in reference to a suspicious vehicle/suspicious man. Upon arrival with back up, Officers made contact with the suspects who were sleeping in the vehicle. Rose Webb was subsequently issued a summons for Drug Paraphernalia.	Pastime Park
8/9/2016	4:14 PM	Traffic Stop	West Main St.	Officer observed individual driving a silver Chrysler Town & Country, with known information Officer initiated a traffic stop. Amber Jarvis was issued a citation for FRA Suspension and released.
8/9/2016	5:10 PM	Juvenile	West South St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unruly juvenile complaint. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the juvenile and advised him that he needed to obey his mother's rules at all times. He advised that he understood.
8/9/2016	8:30 PM	Unruly	West South St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unruly juvenile/runaway. After investigation the juvenile was placed into custody without incident and transported to Central Ohio Youth Center.

Upon arrival, Officer was able to get the canine into a partially fenced yard behind the listed location. The pet owner was advised that a copy of this report will be forwarded to the Madison County Dog Warden.

8/10/2016	7:35 PM	Solicitor	Beach St.	Officer received a phone call in reference to a solicitor complaint in the listed area. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with individuals working for Star Energy. Officer advised them that they were not permitted to solicit their services without obtaining a permit.
8/10/2016	11:19 PM	Criminal Damaging	Converse Ave.	Officer was dispatched to listed location in reference to a criminal damaging complaint. Upon arrival Officer met with property owner who showed the damage to the fence toward the rear of his property.
8/11/2016	2:53 AM	Drunk Driver	East Main St.	Officer attempted to stop a white GMC Envoy due to dragging the rear section of the muffler system behind the vehicle. Mary Tedder was taken into custody for OVI, OVI Refusal, Placing Dangerous Materials in Street, Driving under and OVI suspension, Resisting arrest, and Obstructing Official Business.
8/11/2016	7:21 PM	Assist Other Agency	Plain City-Georgesville Rd.	Officer responded to listed location in reference to an injury crash. Upon arrival Officer assisted Medic 261 and assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with traffic control until assistance was no longer needed.
8/12/2016	12:04 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Chillicothe St.	Officer while on patrol observed a grey 2005 Saturn SUV pull in the back on the listed location and pick up several juveniles. Upon making contact with the driver, all parties were advised of the curfew/ trespassing laws and the possible consequences if they were out past curfew again.	Plain City Elementary School

The caller stated she thought the male may be going through cars also. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the male, who advised he was searching for cigarette butts. 8/12/2016	1:46 PM	Assist Other Agency	Cemetery Pk.	Officer was requested by the Madison County Sheriff's Office to respond to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop.
8/12/2016	11:07 PM	Drunk Driver	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was traveling northbound on listed avenue and observed a white Acura traveling southbound. The vehicle had its bright lights on and remained on. The vehicle slowed down, drove to the right side of the roadway and over the white fog line. Officer initiated a traffic stop and after further investigation, Heather Deeter was placed under arrest for OVI and issued a citation for OVI, Marked Lanes and Duty to Dim.
8/13/2016	1:03 AM	Suspicious Person	Jackson St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed area in reference to two suspicious people. The caller advised two skinny males wearing jeans were walking up and down the street and appeared to be looking into cars. Upon arrival Officer searched the area but was unable to locate anyone matching that description.
8/13/2016	10:39 AM	911 Follow-up	Converse Dr.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow up. Dispatch advised that they were not able to call the phone back. Upon arrival Officer met with the listed parties who had called 911 from a deactivated cell phone, not realizing that the call would work. Officer advised the importance of calling 911 only in emergencies.
8/13/2016	11:09 AM	Telecom Harassment	Gray St.	Officer was flagged down by complainant in reference to a scam/ possible harassment. He advised that he has received several calls from someone claiming to represent the IRS saying that he owed back taxes. He advised that he knew that it was scam but wanted the Police Department to be aware.
8/13/2016	1:47 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	North Ave.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the caller who stated that the female suspect had taken the apartment complex's mower without his permission. Officer later located the female using the mower at a local Church. She stated that she believed she had permission to use the mower to mow the Church's grass. 8/13/2016	2:35 PM	Non-Injury Crash	South Chillicothe St.	While on patrol Officers observed a blue Ford Fusion pull through the stop sign at listed location striking a white Chevy truck. Paula Dubosh was cited for Failure to Yield.
8/13/2016	5:30 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	Buggywhip Ln.	Officers were flagged down by complainant in reference to a theft complaint. She stated that the previous night someone rang her door bell but she did not answer. She stated that the next morning there was a small pool of gas by her Ford truck and the tank was empty.

8/14/2016	1:57 AM	Traffic Stop	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a red Ford Taurus, northbound on listed location. Officer learned that the registered owner was under suspension and initiated a traffic stop. Shane Tackett was issued a citation for License Forfeiture Suspension.
8/14/2016	9:15 AM	Assist Other Agency	Unionville Rd.	Officers responded to the listed location at the request of the Union County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival Officers assisted Deputy in searching the residence. It was determined that the male subject had left the area prior to Officers arrival.
8/14/2016	6:36 PM	Storm Damage	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a low hanging wire. Upon arrival contacted Engine 261 and also Ohio Edison Power. Engine 261 arrived and blocked the roadway until Ohio Edison could make the repair.
8/14/2016	6:48 PM	Unruly	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unruly juvenile. Upon arrival Officer made contact with involved parties. After speaking with the mother, Officer spoke with the juveniles, who agreed to clean up the mess and to listen to their mother.
8/14/2016	8:30 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Ave.	Officer received a call from a male who stated he just spoke with several people who advised him the "Federal Marshalls" were at the listed location looking for him. Dispatch contacted the U.S. Marshalls Office, who advised they did not have any agents in the area, and they were not looking for him. Officer did not find any agency looking for the caller.
