On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the intersection of Church Street and Jackson Street in reference to a possible chemical spill. Upon arrival and after further investigation with the Pleasant Valley FD it was learned that the sewer department placed dye into some sewer lines for testing and the dye is not harmful. ODNR responded as well.

The officer initiated a traffic stop and learned that the driver was not impaired or having any health issues. The driver advised that before they were stopped they had been distracted by their GPS unit.

On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 Follow-up. Dispatch advised that they spoke with a female subject who stated that her children were playing with the phone and that everything was fine. Upon arrival, everything was determined to be okay.

On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the area of Jackson Street in reference to a loud music complaint. The caller advised dispatch that someone was playing loud music on Jackson Street. Upon arrival, the officer could not hear any music. Dispatch made contact with the caller, and it was learned that the music was turned off short time after they called.

On the listed date and time officers responded to the area of North Avenue and East Main Street in reference to a man yelling. Upon arrival the officer located the suspect in question in the area of Shepper Avenue and East First Avenue. The suspect advised that he was upset because of an issue at the residence. He advised that he had went for a walk to "cool off."
The suspect was given a warning for his behavior.

On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Upon arrival the officer found that all the doors were secure. Upon the arrival of a key-holder,  the officer checked the interior but was unable to locate anything out of the ordinary.

On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location on the report of a person threatening suicide. The call was received through a suicide hotline. Upon arrival with the Medics, the subject was transported to the hospital for a mental health evaluation.

An officer spoke with ODNR and confirmed that squirrels are not permitted as pets. The officer advised the caller that due the animals being wild, he was not to be in possession of them and couldn’t report them as stolen.

On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 unknown. Upon arrival  an officer checked the building and found it to be secure and no employee's on site.

On this date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an unknown subject being inside the caller's home. Upon further investigation it was determined a cab dropped the suspect off at the residence and the suspect was too intoxicated to realize he was at the wrong residence. The suspect made entry into the residence and fell asleep. The resident did not want to pursue with trespassing or burglary charges. Ethan B. McCalpine, 22yoa of Cincinnati was issued a summons for Disorderly Conduct and released.

An officer canvassed the neighborhood and learned that the mailbox was damaged prior to 0750 Hrs. It was unclear what type/color of vehicle struck the mailbox.

Threatened Suicide
North Ave.
On the stated date and time, officers responded to the listed location in reference to a suicide threat. The complainant, stated that he and his girlfriend, were involved in a verbal argument. During the argument, she stated that she would run her car off the road because she was upset. She left the scene, in her vehicle, at a high rate of speed and reportedly almost struck a pedestrian.  A officer spoke with the subject via public service, and was able to get her to go to the London Police Department to verify that she was fine. The officer later learned that the juvenile went to the police department, with her mother, and they verified that she was not going to harm herself.

Charges for Reckless Operation are pending prosecutor review.

On the stated date and time, an officer met a subject at the police department in regards to a found ATM Card. The card owner was located and arrangements were made for the return.

South Jefferson Ave.
On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a driving complaint out of a non-injury hit skip crash. Upon arrival an officer located the vehicle, and initiated a traffic stop on South Jefferson Avenue near Village Blvd. The driver, Shelda L. Wiley, 40 yoa of Marysville was subsequently arrested for Felony OVI, Marked Lanes and No Turn Signal and transported to Tri-County Regional Jail.

On the stated date and time, officers responded to the listed location in reference to an attempted robbery. A thorough search of the area was made with the assistance of UCSO, MCSO, OSHP and the CPD Helicopter. The suspect was not located. A case investigation was opened.
