Upon arrival the officer removed the belt from the juveniles neck and the medics transported the juvenile to the hospital for a medical/mental health evaluation.

On the listed date and time, an officer was met at the police department in reference to a stolen boat.  A report was taken and the boat was entered into NCIC. The boat was located the following day south of the reported location on the Darby.

10/7/2014	12:30 AM	Threatened Suicide	Plumwood Ct.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location on the report of a possible overdose. Upon arrival the resident was not located at the house. After an investigation the resident was discovered to be in a hotel room in Columbus, Ohio. The CPD was able to make contact with the party and discover that they were not overdosing.
10/7/2014	3:50 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	South Jefferson Ave.	On the listed date and time,  an officer received a call from the manager at a businesses at the listed location in reference to an attempted scam.
10/8/2014	12:12 PM	Alarm Drop	Gay St.	On this date and time, an officer responded to the listed location on an alarm drop. Everything was determined to be fine.
10/8/2014	3:59 PM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. The second party of the dispute was gone upon arrival. The caller reported their ex-boyfriend punched the door and smashed several pumpkins, however no threats or assault occurred. They did not want to pursue the matter at this time.
10/8/2014	5:15 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	Coachman Dr.	On the above date and time, an officer met with a resident on station in regards to a missing Fed-ex package that was supposedly delivered. A report was taken.
10/8/2014	5:25 PM	Domestic Dispute	Jackson Blvd.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in regards to a domestic dispute. The parties agreed to separate to avoid further conflict until the other party moved out.
10/8/2014	7:00 PM	Recovered/Found Property	South Jefferson Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer had lost property turned over to them. Contact was made with the property owner and they retrieved their items at the police department.
10/9/2014	4:21 PM	Solicitor Violation	Coachman Dr.	On the stated date and time, officers responded to the intersection of Coachman Drive and Buckboard Lane in reference to a suspicious vehicle/person. Upon arrival, the officers located the vehicle at the listed location. It was discovered the party was going door to door soliciting without a permit. Bryan G. Robey, 24yoa of Galloway was subsequently issued a summons for Soliciting without a Permit.
10/9/2014	11:31 PM	Burglary	Johnson Ct.	On the listed date and time, officers responded to the listed location in reference to a burglary. When the residents returned home they observed items missing from residence. A report was taken and an investigation was initiated.
10/10/2014	12:10 AM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	West Bigelow Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a noise complaint. An officer spoke with the business owner who agreed to turn the music down.
10/10/2014	10:30 AM	Theft - Felony	Country Place Ln.	On the above date and time, an officer took a report from a resident at the listed location who reported a ring was missing/possible theft from April of 2014.
10/10/2014	8:10 PM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	Gay St.	On the stated date and time while on patrol an officer was flagged down by a citizen who advised that at approximately 1955 Hrs they heard what sounded like several gunshots in the area of Gay Street. Upon arrival the officer checked the area but was unable to locate anything out of the ordinary.
10/11/2014	1:53 AM	DOC	US Rt. 42 N	On the listed date and time, an officer was on routine patrol on US Rt. 42 N in the area of North Chillicothe Street. The officer observed a male walking northbound on North Chillicothe Street staggering as he walked and almost fell over a few times.  The officer made contact with the male and while speaking with him it became apparent that he was extremely intoxicated. The male advised he was going to walk home to Taylor Road. While out with the party his spouse arrived and advised she had been looking for him for a while. The officer released Douglas D. Tuller, 55yoa of Plain City and he was cited for Disorderly Conduct; Intoxication.
10/11/2014	5:16 AM	Fire Support/Unknown Call	Country Place Ln.	On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the area of Perry Pike behind Country Place Estates in reference to a person sitting beside some trees yelling for help. Upon arrival the officer located the person needing assistance. The officer learned that the resident became confused and found himself outside. The officer retrieved an emergency blanket from the cruiser and placed it on the person until the medic arrived.  Upon arrival of Medic 261, the person was transported to the hospital and contact was made with their family.
10/11/2014	7:46 PM	Trespasser	West Bigelow Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a trespassing complaint. Upon arrival the subject was gone. The caller was advised to call back if the unwanted patron returned.
10/11/2014	8:52 PM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	Willowbrook Ct.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a noise complaint. Dispatch advised an anonymous caller stated there was loud music coming from the listed location. Upon arrival the officer made contact with the resident, who apologized and agreed to keep his music down.
10/11/2014	8:59 PM	Juvenile	West Second Ave.	On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the area of 137 W Second Avenue in reference to well being check. Everything checked okay.
10/12/2014	1:18 PM	Assist Other Agency	SR 161 W	On the stated date and time an officer was requested by the Madison County Sheriff's Office to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle. An officer patrolled the area but could not locate any vehicles matching that description.
10/13/2014	4:21 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a loose canine. The Madison County Dog Warden was contacted and picked up the canine.
10/13/2014	10:33 PM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	On the listed date and time, officers responded to the listed location in reference to a possible domestic violence incident. Upon arrival it was determined neither parties had any signs of a physical altercation having occurred and they advised it was only verbal and they both agreed to stay civil for the night.
10/14/2014	5:47 AM	Non-Injury Crash	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and West Avenue in reference to a non-injury accident. Upon arrival and further investigation Jerry D. Dhume, 63 yoa of Plain City, was subsequently issued a citation for Failure to Control and a crash report was completed.
10/14/2014	12:13 PM	Menacing by Stalking	Stenner Ct.	On the stated date and time, an officer met with  a resident at the police department. She reported an ongoing situation involving another party who was causing her distress. The second party was contacted and advised to refrain from contact with the reporting party or they could face possible charges for menacing by stalking. The reporting party did not wish to pursue with charges at this time, but advised they would if this were to continue.
10/14/2014	6:46 PM	Non-Injury Crash	Maple St.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the intersection of Maple Street and West Bigelow Avenue in reference to a non-injury accident. Upon my arrival and after further investigation Scott T. Arnold, 22yoa of Marysville, Ohio was issued a citation for Failure to Yield From a Stop Sign. A crash report was completed.
10/14/2014	9:02 PM	Domestic Dispute	Jackson Blvd.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon my arrival it was determined that it was only verbal and no threats of physical harm were made. Both parties agreed to stay away from each other for the remainder of the evening. Both of them were warned of the consequences if their behavior continued.
10/14/2014	10:14 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	Village Blvd.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person. The caller advised that a silver four door Sedan had pulled onto the lot of the listed location and turned off all their lights. Upon arrival the officer made contact with the party and it was discovered he was part of a cleaning crew for an adjacent businesses and everything was fine.
10/14/2014	10:21 PM	Non-Injury Crash	Perry Pk.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the area of Perry Pike and Lafayette- Plain City Rd in reference to a non injury crash. Upon  arrival an further investigation Bryan Roush, 20yoa of Marysville, Ohio was cited for Reasonable Control (331.34A ORD). A crash report was completed.
10/15/2014	3:30 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	Guy St.	On the stated date and time while on routine patrol an officer found a subject sleeping inside a vehicle at the listed location. Contact was made with the property owner who advised the subject could stay on the property at this time.
10/16/2014	11:05 AM	Trespasser	South Jefferson Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a trespassing complaint. The business owner requested that we advise the two parties that if they returned to the property, they would be charged with criminal trespassing charges.
10/16/2014	1:53 PM	Recovered/Found Property	South Jefferson Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer met with a subject in reference to lost property. The property was returned to the owner.
10/16/2014	4:09 PM	Non-Injury Crash	West Main St.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the intersection of West Main Street and Maple Street in reference to a non-injury crash. Upon arrival an after further investigation a 16yoa juvenile was issued a citation for Starting and Backing Vehicles (PC Ord. 331.13A) and a crash report was completed.
10/17/2014	1:09 AM	Fire Support/OD	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location on a report of a possible overdose. Upon arrival, Medic 261 transported the subject to the hospital.
10/17/2014	8:12 PM	Juvenile	Village Blvd.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a juvenile complaint. The caller advised that several juveniles appeared to be consuming alcohol in the parking lot of the listed location. Upon arrival the officer made contact with the juveniles. They advised that they were drinking root beer that they had just purchased.
10/17/2014	8:55 PM	Non-Injury Crash	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time while on patrol an officer observed a tractor trailer traveling northbound on S Chillicothe St. As the officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle just north of Beach St for being on a weight-restricted roadway, the struck a large tree limb causing damage to his vehicle and the tree. Justin D. Seals, 24yoa of Memphis, Arkansas was subsequently cited for Over Weight Use of Local Streets (339.02A ORD) and Reasonable Control (333.08A ORD).
10/17/2014	10:50 PM	911 Unknown	South Jefferson Ave.	On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the listed location on a 911 unknown. Upon arrival the officer was advised that some kids had been playing with the pay phone in the lobby but have since left.
10/18/2014	12:10 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Jefferson Ave.	On the listed date and time, while an officer was on patrol on South Jefferson Avenue they observed an occupied vehicle on the lot of the listed location. The occupant provided the officer with a receipt for the items they were loading.
10/18/2014	3:32 PM	Telecom Harassment	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a telecom harassment. The reporting party advised that they have been receiving unwanted personal calls from other family members. The officer made contact with the other parties and advised them of the complaint and to refrain from calling to get personal information.
10/18/2014	9:05 PM	Fire Support	Country Place Ln.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a alarm drop. Upon arrival it was determined to be a carbon monoxide detector alarm. The officer then requested the Pleasant Valley Fire Department to the listed location. Upon their arrival they determined everything to be fine.
10/18/2014	10:55 PM	Drunk Driver	West Main St.	On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the area of Chillicothe Street and Main Street in reference to a vehicle stopped at the red light blocking the oncoming lanes travel. The officer located the vehicle as it was stopped at the intersection of West Main Street and US Rt. 42.  and initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle for a moving violation.  Upon further investigation Sandra L. Rigel, 43yoa of Columbus was subsequently placed under arrest and charged with Marked Lanes and OVI.
10/19/2014	5:42 PM	911 Unknown	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 unknown. Dispatch advised the call came from the pay phone at the listed location. Upon arrival the officer was unable to find anyone who had used the phone.
10/20/2014	8:01 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Gay St.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an assault that took place on 10-19-2014. Upon arrival an officer met with a reporting party, who advised he was on a walk the previous night, and was assaulted by an unknown male with a knife. Upon further investigation,  it was determined that the incident did not take place. Tyler M. Leedy, 18yoa of Plain City was subsequently charged with Obstructing Official Business.
10/20/2014	8:30 PM	Parking Complaint	Lantern Ln.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a parking complaint. The officer made contact with the parties and advised them to move the vehicles from the roadway since they were disabled.
10/20/2014	8:35 PM	Parking Complaint	Lantern Ln.	On the stated date and time and officer responded to the listed location in reference to a parking complaint. The vehicle owner was advised to move the vehicle due to it being broken down in front of the listed location for several days and the vehicle had a flat tire. The party was given until 10/21/14 to move the vehicle.
10/21/2014	1:07 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	Gay St.	On this date and time, an officer responded to the listed location on the report of a suspicious person entering a barn on the east side of a resident's property just south of Beach Street. The officer made contact with the party and determined they were on the property with authorization.
10/21/2014	3:36 PM	Driving Complaint	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, an officer was flagged down by a passerby in reference to a possible impaired driver. An officer located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop at the listed location. It was determined that the driver was not impaired.
10/21/2014	5:21 PM	Driving Complaint	SR 161 E	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the area of the SR 161 and the East Corporation limits in reference to a driving complaint. The complainant, advised that a vehicle was driving all over the roadway and almost struck their vehicle. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was made. The driver advised they may have been distracted while changing radio stations.
10/21/2014	6:51 PM	Well-being Check	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in regards to a well-being check for an overdue motorist. It was discovered the family member was still at work and had not left and everything was okay.

Upon arrival and after further investigation Steven A. Karobinos, 48yoa of Hilliard, Ohio was issued a citation for Improper Backing and a crash report was completed.
